I always wanted to "shred" on my guitars but I never mastered it. I love Marnie Stren, she's an Alt Rock musician who's famous for been a "Shreder", and I'm envious of her for her abilities :)

I love playing GeoShred, running it thru Patterning 2, MixBox and Yale Delay. Incorporating the new instruments would be fantastic! GeoShred is majorly. Innovative for my workflow.

U made me feel guilty about buying this. I really need to practice with it. Fat fingers which work ok on a keyboard but on the touch screen it sounds like a cats chorus. Great walkthrough 👍🏾 and your playing skills are very impressive. I like the piece with the backing track 👏🏾👏🏾 and the sax and cello 🤯
Not bad for my ipad 5th generation... still can cope with my playing...

Great vid. Great app. I paid £40 just to get the Cello and use it with a Behringer foot controller. I’ll cross my fingers to win this as the flute and violin are on my wish list as they’d sound incredible with my harp. Good luck to everyone and thanks Leo 👍

What a fantastic and huge giveaway, Leo! I did some research over the last months about audio modeling in general, also read through AudioModeling‘s website and very much enjoyed their open testflight brass instruments. The fact that this technology is now available on iOS is simply awesome. I think almost any serious iOS musician would be more than super excited to win a code. Needless to say that I would be absolutely grateful for the GeoSwam Collection. Great and expressive demo mate, thanks for that!

Thats a big give away. I cant get my head round how realistic and expressive this sounds. More expensive than some other apps but it does give a pro sound making it really worth the cost. The violin playing with the arp in this video sound awesome

Great tutorial! I've already got Geoshred but don't have guitar training, so the learning curve is higher for using the interface -- but it's so expressive! Would be thrilled with getting the GeoSWAM IAPs. I've watched some of the demos and they sound amazing.

@gbcraw The cool thing about Geoshred is that you can change the tuning of the strings + even how many strings you can see/play.. as soon as you change that tuning from standard guitar tuning, it’s a new instrument.. it’s still a string type instrument BUT it really has become it’s own thing.. yes.. sliding, hammering, bending + vibrato are all similar but the pattern of notes has changed.. so any normal guitar shapes + chords are now thrown out the window.. you will now hear different notes by playing regular shapes on that fretboard.. now that’s powerful + simple + needs no guitar training.. just pick a new tuning or create a custom one + you’ll be on a new journey..
Changes in tuning, changes the instrument.. It’s not a guitar anymore, it’s simply GeoShred..
I do this constantly with my acoustic + electric guitars.. you’ll end up using your ears more + relying less on any familiar guitar shapes + patterns.. I find it extremely freeing..

Geoshred is my favourite playing surface + controller.. I ❤️ how you can change the layout to exactly what you need.. custom tunings is where it really shines for me..
Now we get these superb GeoSwam instruments to play (When did they include the backing tracks?).. amazing expression.. and the sounds.. incredible! We need more of these extremely playable instruments on our mobile devices.. Isn’t that what they’re really made for? 😁 A playable instrument first, a communication device second..

Great vid! It's fascinating how far this physical modelling has advanced and I love the fact that we won't need hunders of gigs of storage and choked ram to have expression and articulation. Sure, they still have to figure out some difficulties but it's getting more and more difficult to tell from samples. In fact I've recently done a track using GeoViolin among synths and other tracks and someone asked whether it was an electric or acoustic violin, never even thought it's on an iPad :) truly amazing times!

I think I bought GeoShred within a few days of its launch. As a guitarist I love that I can setup the screen to be very familiar with my normal six strings. I'd love to get my hands on a code for the Geo Swam instrument collection (particularly Sax).

GeoShred is an object lesson in how to use the tools available - in this case a flat surface - and make something extraordinary. The GeoSEAM collection probes further dimensions of expression and brings the instruments to heart beating life. Who ever thought a sheet of glass could be capable of expressing such emotion?

Did anyone try roli blocks mpe controllers with geoshred and swam sounds? I bought them as Noise sound packs only to find they don’t work outside of Noise that is now also very unstable on iOS.

This app is so amazing, when you played the Arp with expressions it just sounds so beautiful. I only have Play, but really want the Pro version, the full app, with midi out, midi in, etc.... If I get 1st I’ll take the Geoswarm collection and buy the full app, if I come in second I’ll definitely still take the Pro version, and but a swamy or 2. Great video, gorgeous sounds, I loved the sax song 14 mins in and the cello jam just after that.

Yeah you said it. when you switch presets the layout changes and the damn echo sometimes comes back! Someone feels me/ Keep in mind I LOVE these tones and I do use geo but it has bothered me in a way, not huge tho/
