the aluminum that wore away from the rocker is in the engine also, hopefully it didn't trash any bearings. I feel for you, been struggling with my 86 too!

You got really lucky this didnt cause a valve drop... rockers hitting the spring cups instead of the valve stem like its supposed to could have easily caused the keepers to fly out, ive seen other youtubers destroy brand new engines because of that.

I forgot I had the port where the turbo connects open by mistake.. so after this video… I had a giant oil slick on the garage floor 🤦♂️
