Nintendo explained why they chose Bowser's Inside Story over Partners in Time, bewteen the 2, Bowser's Inside Story was the better-selling Mario game.

@Azeoyi well,if they port the 5 games on Switch Here's how they could do
Superstar Saga,Paper Jam and Partners in Time don't use the 2 screens gimmick at all,so they can be easily implemented into 1 screen just fine(as for the Touch screen segment in PIT,well you can easily get around that)
The only 2 problems are with Dream Team and Bowser's Inside Story
The Giant Battles can be implemented into 1 screen and the Touch screen can be replaced with Quick-Time events/button combos(the same can be done with Bowser's minigames)
As for the Luiginary Works gimmick,I'd suggest to do something similar to Mario's face in 64,where you move Starlow and touch Luigi with buttons on a split-screen(the left side will show Luigi and the right will show the stage)
Also,remove the Gyro controls and add the ability to fast forward cutscenes to PIT and DT

I think they will most likely port Color Splash to Switch
@Azeoyi it doesn't matter how much they hate that game,it's still a solid and charming experience that deserved better than just being a punching bag for the fanbase
Look at 3D World: everyone in 2013 was worried and underestimated it because it was too linear compared to the other games,but now they all love it and it's a massive success on Switch,and also gave us a fantastic side-story mode with Bowser's Fury
Why not do the same with Color Splash? They can add a new story with Luigi and Huey after the main one,and a Black Paint monster called "Black Pain(get it?)"as a new villain
I like this game a lot,it's on par with TTYD IMO,so why not give it a 2nd chance on Switch? It truly deserves it

This was my first Mario and Luigi title to play and despite whatever flaws there might have been, it was a great game to play

If Nintendo did remastered this game, this time, it should include Baby Rosalina & previous Nintendo babies from Yoshi's Island DS, Baby Daisy, Chauncey (Luigi's Mansion) *VS.* The Shroobs. Just like Minion Quest.
Just finished Bowsers Inside story and started this game less than a week ago. I'm flying through it. So far I love the story and zany antics. It's hilarious and very fun. It's heavier on the puzzles which I really enjoy. However, the world is not open like Superstar and Inside. Those games had a ton of backtracking to explore old areas with new abilities to open up more places to explore and treasures to find. As well as tons of mini games and side quests. I just finished up the desert area and rescued the princess with a shroob stuck to her face and haven't encountered any side quests or mini games yet.
Definitely a very fun game. It just seems to be going too fast as apposed to the other games where there was downtime between the story to explore. Partners seems to take you directly on the path you need to go without any type of overworld other than the castle.
Curious as to what others think about this comparison.

I’m so disappointed that this game didn’t get a remastered for 3DS. It is one of the best Mario games of all time! Especially since the Shroobs were featured in Bowser’s Inside Story!
