- Spring for us is an extremely busy time of year. Not only are we coming off the winter ranges, shearing, starting into lambing season, firing up tractors and starting to farm, and trucking to the spring range, but we are doing all of these things at the same time! Even with a million things going on our guys still need supplies. Luckily in the spring we have 3 herds somewhat close together and are able to make it to all three in a day depending on what needs to be done. Between moving camps, hauling water, and gathering supplies for all the herds it takes time to get everything done and back home at the end of the day. Come on a ride with me as we get our guys and sheep taken care of on a beautiful desert spring day!
This reminds me of the sheep herders with their simple sheepherder wagons.Years ago the herders would stay at the basque hotel in Elko Nv through the winter.Spring time they were all out on the range. They stayed out until the late fall. Each herder would have 2 or 3 sheep dogs. They would have a band of sheep to take care of.You guys are the real thing.Good to see this .Memories of an old cowboys
Thanks for watching!

Awesomeness, gotta love the friendship in the middle of nowhere. That's what I admire about ranchers. Every one helps out everyone ❤...
Amazing isn’t it! Sure glad to have good people around!
Great video. I appreciate you letting the world take a small look at what sheepmen do to keep our traditions going.
Thanks for watching!
Very interesting to see what it takes to do you job.
Nice to hear about the friendly rancher who shares his water with you. He’s a good man.
Thank you!! Absolutely, we’re sure glad for all the help we get all times of the year because we sure get a lot of it!
I really enjoy your channel very informative however, I believe your videos would be better if you didn’t have any music playing in my opinion it takes away from the content it’s nice to hear just the natural sounds that comes with your job.
I’ll keep that in mind!! Thanks for watching and thanks for the input!!
Rock on, very cool, thanks for sharing!

Thank you!!
Hi to you and your team. Thanks so much for taking the time out to share such an interesting farming system in your part of the USA.
Worked with sheep here in NZ. Sheep trucks ,sheep breeds and terrain are different. Some shearers looked like they could have shorn in other parts of the world. Maybe UK, Australia or NZ.
What we have in common is our love of sheep and to be the best we can at sheep husbandry . Great Videos.
Greetings from Matamata, New Zealand.
Thanks for watching! I love hearing from people from other parts of the world doing the same thing as us! Although it may be a little different!!
Awesome filming and editing! Thanks gor sharing.
Thanks for watching!!
I'd love to set up camp out there the night skies has to be awesome, great video
They are fantastic! No light pollution and so many stars! So amazing!
even in Italy they practice American riding from reining to cutting and roping and barrel racing and pole bending and team penning! I practiced American riding by taking walks in the countryside and mountains and I went trekking for several days on horseback but in Italy and in Europe we stay in farmhouses with bedrooms and bathrooms and a restaurant!
That’s awesome!
Underrated Channel!!
Thank you!!!!

Another great video 👍
Thank you 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I love that someone is producing wool in this country. Just try to buy a new wool buffalo shirt that wasn't made in Mexico or Europe.
Absolutely!!

Back and hoping to be more consistent in posting awesome content! Thanks for watching!
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
Great video! Where do you get your sheep camp trailers from?
We have several from different makers! Western range camps, Wilson camps, timberline, and we built one a couple years ago!
Sheep oh goody were going to DISNEY WORLD
😂😂
Do we want a Border Wall? That is tough conditions to raise a baby lamb & put on weight. Water wins, again. Stay safe.
These lambs actually do really well here! They grow a lot! Up in the hills there is a ton of good green grass for them to eat!
Not sure how the border wall would affect the growth rate on a lamb...maybe you can enlighten us?
