- While in Mansfield Missouri, we visited the Laura Ingalls Wilder home, the rock house built by Rose for her mother from a Sears catalog cottage plan, and the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum. We also ran across a new railroad car restaurant under construction with a museum located downtown which at the time we visited is planned to open in July 2024. We enjoyed the entire time we had there and the people were so friendly. There was a lot of rain, seems like this is one of the coolest and wettest fall, winter, and spring I can remember. Hopefully the summer and fall of 2024 will be more pleasant.

Thank you so much for watching.
What a lovely Camping area and Museums. The homes were beautiful, I can only imagine how peaceful and serene it must have been there when they settled the area.

Hi Judy! Thanks very much for this video! I really enjoyed it and you did a great job! One little thing I noticed, was that you kept referring to her as Laura "INGAL" Wilder... However - it's Laura "INGALLS" Wilder (with an "S"). Still - I loved your video, ma'am! Thanks again and have a nice day!
Thank you for watching and for your comments. This is really an interesting place to visit and provides a great view of what life was like for Laura and her family.
My wife and I will be visiting with our son - thanks to you and this video! Bless you ma'am!@@svakia7887
Why didn’t we get to see the inside of the houses?
The guide would not allow us to video inside. Thank you for watching and for commenting.

@juliajohnson6022 I know, there have been a few places that prohibited videoing inside.
