Dude, you are so spot on. I have a ‘99 Commander that will not stay closed. Now Emerson will not service his knives made prior to 2000?!? Insane! My lifetime warranty does not apply. DO NOT BUY AN EMERSON KNIFE. They literally told me that because his earlier knives are worth thousands, he can’t take the responsibility to handle or fix them. He has no integrity at all.

I think that's an older model. All the new ones have standoffs. With that said, I carry benchmade primarily. Until 3 weeks ago when i bought my first Emerson. A mini cqc 15. I love everything about it and haven't had any of the issues you mentioned. I can hold mine blade down and shake it and it won't open. I don't have poor cut marks. I don't have lock stick. So either he started doing better work or I got the holy grail of emerson knives. Either way, I love mine
Being in an environment where I got to observe SPECWAR operators I mostly saw cheaper knives. Things that wouldn’t break your heart if it was lost or damaged. As far as liking a knife or not liking it is purely personal preference. To pick up an Emerson and say it isn’t good is a stretch. They perform exactly how the maker intended. Maybe as your experience and knowledge with knives increase you will appreciate what Emerson is trying to create.

No other knife I own is equally as useful in the office and the fishing boat. I have zero tolerances, spydercos, benchades, and other factory knives, they get pretty expensive too. While I do feel they could do better with finish, I don’t find them to be a bad value, all knives are overpriced nowadays, and this Emerson can do more work and take more beating than any other folder I own. Not really arguing or hurt by this video, I just think it’s interesting people can have such completely different experiences with essentially the same thing. Good thing there’s more than one knife maker out there ;) .

I have 2 sheepdog, yes I can wrist flick both open and neither one is that loose. Just for the record not a fan boy. At work I always have the stonewashed one on me and the blacked out one hits my pocket every now and then, most of the time I have my Adamus on me. The detent on both are much better than what I just seen, had to go check both of them.
Spyderco has the Delica/Endela/Endura and Byrd CaraCara2 lines with the wave on them. I have all but the Delica and they all work very well and the Spyderco line ones are great build quality, the Byrd is good for the price though.
I really wish youtube would stop suggesting this video as the third pick anytime i search for ANY Emerson knife. Doesn't seem like youtube is being fair.
I have an Emerson tiger which believe it or not actually has good detent. It also has the most horrific lock-stick of any knife I've ever owned. If you flick it open, or open with the wave, you damn near need a screwdriver to get it closed again. Opened and closed it hundreds of times and it makes no difference.
@@CrazySharp Well, funny thing. I just tried it again so I wouldn't send it in and look like a fool when it fell open in your hand on a video, and now I can pop it open with a fairly gentle wrist motion. Not sure if the breaking in I tried to do for the lock stick got rid of the illusion of detent, but I definitely can no longer call it "good." I may send it in anyway for the lock stick. To clarify, I'm not an Emerson fan. This knife is chunky and poorly finished but I was surprised when it actually stayed closed when I got it. Guess I can stop being surprised. Worth about 50-80 bucks, not 200.
I was in the military… I'm friends with a lot of the guys that were in positions where they would've been issued this knife such a seal teams and EOD… Guess what none of them like this knife or any of the Emersons. Just because it's in the stock system doesn't mean it's what they carry, it doesn't mean it's what they purchase, and I'll tell you the last thing most of them will tell you the entire story behind Emerson knives and the seal team thing is a bunch of bull
I personally love how hard they feel in hand. It is what it is. There are more streamlined knives but emersons are like ak47s, shit will cut your hands up when you use it. Also if I'm dropping hundreds on a knife then getting a clip I like is a part of the fun. I've also never had an issue deploying it by wave feature, especially if you attach a lanyard which you should with any wave knife.
I bought my first Emerson knife a Raven directly from Emerson in 1997. It was pretty good. Although the black finish put on by Birdsong would mostly come off with ATF fluid. At that time ATF fluid was for lubing a 12" hard black Arkansas stone. Bought a 1998 Commander again directly from Emerson. Dropped it closed onto a wood floor. There was enough play in the blade a piece of the tip broke off. Hurt my feelings somewhat. I could see a flaw in the ATS-34. Spoke on the phone with Mary at Emerson and no replacement or warranty. There was enough wiggle in the closed or not locked blade that was what had caused the problem. A little stone work it looked okay but was shorter a little bit and I knew it broken even if it didn't show. Short time later got a Mil-Spec Commander from Martin B. Retting NIB for cheap. It was a great knife but centering, wobble unlocked and ability to use the wave correctly were always a problem. It did lock up great. Although as expected, given the other issues sometimes kinda it would get stuck open. Emerson has issues with pin and hole diameter fit at that time. After a year or so the pin was noticeably wearing. So F---it. Retired it. Went with a Benchmade AFCK. Benchmade got everything perfect. Have a lot of AFCKs now. At a point sold both Commanders to USN member got cash and a 2000 green Commander not a Mil-Spec just green. Still some issues of the pin and blade fit. I got significantly more cash than I put out for both blades combined and already knew how to tweak a Commander. It is still unused. In 2020 bought a CQC-8 for cheap. Finally an Emerson with no wobble issues. Except this one would unlock from light taps on back of the blade. The lock would only barely engage ever. Sent it back to Emerson for repair. Got back a perfect knife that may or may not be the one I returned. No matter because this one is perfect. Got enthusiastic about Emerson again and bought a CQC-8 Flipper. Probably the best Emerson I ever owned. Only downside is the g-10 scales are so rough drawing the knife and having the wave catch in not easy. It will probably wear-in eventually. Let's be honest those early ones sucked. The more recent one are better. Are they in the same class as Benchmade, Spyderco or Microtech? Not even close. I do have a fixed Emerson karambit on my belt occasionally for firearm retention. I generally have a Benchmade Bedlam auto as EDC. It is huge and kinda heavy but sits low in the pocket. I can't feel a thing in a bluejean pocket. Never gets in the way when sitting. Go figure.
What knife brand do you recommend that’s all around durable and built like a tank? I really like the wave feature , I know Spyderco uses the wave on some of theirs. Thanks
I guess that would be any brand that he’s not green with envy towards the owner. 6 months from now he probably will be saying that Old Timer knives now has all US military contracts😂
EXACTLY WHAT I SAID! Even though its shit 8Cr steel, otherwise I love my Kershaw CQC-11K compared to Mini Horseman real deal. It cuts so much better, sharpens, frame lock is perfect and solid with no rock, perfect centering, G10 fit and finish is the same if not better, and only 30 DOLLARS!!!! 190 plus for Emersons is just not something we can do in 2020 unless they're just your thing- believe me, I want to like them.
Today I learned: Emerson = Butterface of knives There is a very recent model I want to check out. I'll see if I can find a pic. It might be one of the best looking knives I've seen actually. But I agree, Emerson needs to take a cue from Hinderer and stop being stuck to their knife tradition and start making them like people actually wish they were made.
I don’t blame you man, i’m jealous of Ernie too. there is only one other man who is luckier than him and that would be Ringo Starr..... but I still like his knives.
It is my perception that the owner of Emerson is not a friendly person, to put it nicely. That combined with their crappy knives make it a definite hard no for me. Not even a brand I consider anymore.
Carried a CQC-13 Bowie for years and absolutely loved it. Recently however I chipped the blade and decided to retire it. I didn’t even think about buying anything else so I went to the Emerson website and to my disappointment they no longer made anything with the Bowie style blade and none of their other blade shapes fit my needs for an edc so I went with another brand. Now I do agree that Emerson may not be the most beautiful knife or even the sharpest. But they are a workhorse tool that can survive years of punishment and keep on going. I would be glad to buy another if they ever made another blade shape that satisfies my needs.
The only Emerson I see mostly good things about is the CQC8. I want to try one bc they look so cool. Was that the other Terzuola drop knife? I have the ATCF and love I want a custom one but hard to get ahold of amazing design.
If you DO choose an Emerson model - never mind the critics - the CQC-8 "Banana Knife" is a fine choice. I have a Super which is pretty much a folding sabre. Also a couple regular 8's and a Mini. On the Mini I added a Pete Grey Monster Disc and a carbon fiber pocket clip. Very practical and never left out of my rotation.
Lol. Sometimes it’s tough being honest but highly respectable and always the right thing imo . ( unless you have to protect a loved one then lie your ass off 😂) .
The whole "people will except this because" attitude that Emerson has is sad. I wouldn't really feel like that if they were cheaper. I'd probably still mod 90% of them I've seen.
I didn't know Emerson's were supposed to be made for hard use. I thought they were strictly made for quick detent for self defense and combat. I didn't want to pay $200 for one either so I have the cheaper Kershaw version, it's fine. Actually I get plenty of compliments on it
Hey brother. Which Kershaw do u have exactly? And does it also have the hook like the Emerson for the snatch out use? Sorry i don't know the technical name of the hook. Im just looking for a solid reliable knife that is that snatch out style for protection. Please and thank u
I have one of the new style CQC-15 direct from Emerson Knives and it has the exact same detente issue. It feels like the detente is engaging properly when closing the blade but there is zero resistance when opening. It's dangerous and I'm not carrying it because of that. Too bad.
The one you're looking at could be an older one, as far as I know all of the newer emerson knives have stand-offs, not the back spacer. I have a few, and they all have stand offs.
Freedom of speech...I disagree with you, but that's my experience with Emerson knives. I own around 40 right now along with many other production and customs. I bet Ernie Emerson would talk with you in person and take constructive criticism. He is a great gentleman and American and loves to actually talk with other great Americans. Thank you sir.
Emerson knives are frustrating. For what they cost you expect more. Mabie we are just spoiled with overseas manufacturing done by near every one now.. this is a total US product. I like that. But... finish could so easily be next level better. I edc a horseman. Love the knive love the design. But.. I had to take it apart. tune it to my liking, and finish it up to my ocd level. It is a fantastic knive, and design. But definitely not for everyone. Similar to a owning a 1911, it's an old school, you pay more than you should, and you may have to put time into it to get it how you like.
To add, I have many benchmade's spydercos, and zt's. I think what brings me back to the horseman is the ergonomics. Feels so right in the hand. The balance, the weight, the g10. The beautifully done blade. So good in many aspects, with some nostalgia thrown in. But yeah.. could be better..
I had one of the very first CQC 7 knives back in the day. Wasn't impressed with it at all, especially for the money. Same with Strider, was very disappointed with those. The custom ones may be better, but they are stupid money. Unfortunately, American made in production knives doesn't mean that much anymore, except over priced in most cases. If Emerson farmed out their manufacturing to Reate. WE, Lionsteel, or a couple of others it would be better made, and cheaper. Sorry, just the reality of it. I have a $90 CH knife I'll put up against an Emerson any day, S30V, titanium, bearings, the works. Three years of hard use without a glitch, for under a hundred dollars. When American makers can do that, I'll start buying their knives again.
The first few Emersons I handled, I legitimately thought they were fakes because they truly seem like a $35 knife you'd find at Tractor Supply. And a liner lock? Lol no thanks for that money for a "hard use" knife. I finally realized no they arent fake, they're just crappy. I do love that blade shape though. That recurve is a beauty.
Emerson is a company that cuts production cost and does nothing to pass that savings on to the customer. They've done it so much, the knives have transformed over the years from a near-handmade piece (think 1998 Commander) to a bunch of mixed-matched pieces that get slapped together. They have so much potential. The designs are good, but hardware, finishing, and tuning leave much to be desired. In 2014 they had a run of HD-7s, which were in the $300+ range new. Every single one of them had bad lock geometry. Within weeks, the lock-bar would travel all the way over to the non-locking side. You'd send it in for warranty service, and get it back with better lock-up. One week, later that same lock would migrate all the way over. I do have a few good ones. I have an new logo Roadhouse that is literally perfect with the new detent. That said, they are over priced.
I've been watching a lot of reviews and the opinions differ, I would like to try out an Emerson knife but sadly they don't ship outside USA, the prices on Ebay are insane....if anybody sells a piece give me a contact
Not all of us work in the same environments, I potentially depend on my equipment for my life and the life of others. Why I carry Emerson on duty. Its why they were made. I carry a cqc7 with spear blade on duty.. I have 30 other knives to carry at walmart and cracker barrel. FAMOUS IN THE WORST PLACES..
I am retired military and I will tell you that there are so many better knives at the same price point… I’m not a guy that has knives that t carry and doesn’t use. I just feel that these are way overpriced and with the detent issues, they are unsafe half the time
@CrazySharp I like the knife in this video what model is it !! A guy makes knives for the CIA !! I want One !! An I’m sold on it !! Love ur channel Bro !!
Another great video.. Thank you for the honest review its really appreciated. That's why I watch these videos, I want to get the best bang for my buck. This video was well informative and very helpful. Thanks again.
have you tried the Kershaw emersons? i bought mine for $30 years ago has lasted me forever through farm work, and best yet its impossible for me to wave it open without either using the pocket wave thing or my thumb on the stud
they have sharpening contest with planers seeing who can strip wood the thinnest... i like the idea of a brand focusing on chisel grinds; the recurve would be more of a pain to sharpen for me. i have 2 emersons a seax and bulldog i like the g10 linerlock look. the wave and thumb disk are the ugliest parts in my opinion
WITH ALL DUE RESPECT ... EMERSON IS NOT A SOLDIER, NOT A PRO FIGHTER, HE IS A COMBATIVES INSTRUCTOR WHO GAVE KNIVES TO SOME SPECIAL FORCES SOLDIERS WHO HAVE LITTLE IDEA ABOUT GOOD KNIFE DESIGN, THEN MARKETS THEM AS THE CHOICE KNIVES OF SPECIAL FORCES. HE BECAME FAMOUS AND PROCLAIMS HE IS THE FATHER OF TACTICAL KNIVES IN HIS UA-cam CHANNEL, BUT ACTUALLY, ITS BOB TERZUOLA ..... ALSO EMERSON PROCLAIMS HIS KNIVES ARE THE NUMBER ONE HARD USE KNIVES IN THE WORLD. I LIKE THE LOOK OF HIS KNIVES .... BUT I DON'T TRUST THEM FOR HARD USE AND SELF DEFENSE ...... I TRUST COLD STEEL AND SPYDERCO
@@camdenbrown3816 OK I understand you’re young and can fall for propaganda and marketing… As a retired member of the Navy and being stationed at the SEAL command as support unit I know numerous SEALs... I don’t know any of them that actually carry an Emerson. However I do know that everyone of them I know carries a Leatherman or a Gerber multitool. Now make a new sickasode and I may link your channel in a video. Once again please don’t fall for all of the marketing hype that you hear. Just because something May have been given to a unit does not mean it was their choice of Cary. I was issued several K bars and several cold steel fixed blades, that doesn’t mean that was my choice of carry... As a matter fact my dislike for those issued items was the main reason I designed my own combat knife that I called the stone fish and gave it to several of my friends who are in the special forces to test
@@CrazySharp Did six years as Air Force security forces and I’ve never seen an Emerson, on anyone of any afsc. Seen a lot of leathermans, a few Benchmade autos and some spydercos, but no Emersons.
Couple things. This is not a recent example. This still has a backspaced indicating it’s either a 2012 or 2013 model. Apart from the detent issue, most of your complaints are cosmetic. As for the ergos, sounds like this just doesn’t fit your hand - not the knife’s issue, more of a fit issue. Emersons either speak to you or they don’t. When you hold them, they either fit your hand or they don’t.
I’ll somewhat agree with you on the ergo’s… I’ve handled numerous Emerson’s and I just don’t find them to be at all comfortable in hand. I get it if you like them good on you I just still don’t find them to be the one for me
They have never appealed to me. You can tell right away that the blocky g10 will feel like trash. They have always looked cheap. I agree with what you have said in the past, that they claim to be what cold steel actually is. I also hate his stupid reasoning behind using such crap hardware. "It's meant to be stripped in the field!!". It's a folder not a firearm. I have treated folders like dirt in the woods and have never felt the need to strip a knife no matter how gummed up with debris, fish guts or grime. It's just an excuse to use crap screws.
I have a few Emersons and I EDC one everyday. That said, I’m not a Usual Suspects fanboy and I realize now that they are a bit hyped up. It’s a club. Just like Apple, just like Peloton, just like Tesla. Emerson is like Microtech and Strider: a lot of marketing. It’s true: very decent EDC blades can be had today for very competitive prices. We are in the golden age of choice and quality. One carries an Emerson for the same reason one wants to wear an Omega over a Timex.
See these are the kind of comments that I can get into… Someone looking at what I said for the fact that it’s my opinion not attacking someone personally. A lot of people get their head wrapped around loyalty to a specific brand and then take offense when something disparaging is said. Like I said I like Ernie I just wish that these knives presented themselves better.
If I had enough money, I would buy emerson campany and teach everyone how to manufacture pocket knives.I am really sor for made quality.Beautiful design terrible made
Obviously you don't get Emerson knives. You have to be a high speed operator to understand the horrible fit and finish 😂. Just be careful talking crap, or the fanboys will come for you. I'm still wondering why damn near all the "Chinese knock offs" look, feel and perform the same or better. It's been 20 years and I still haven't seen an Emerson factory tour. 😂😂
I've had numerous Emerson's, Microtech's, Sebenza's over the years.... None of em beat my 4 inch Voyager from Cold Steel, $49 knife with a lock far stronger than all the rest.
I would definitely take an axis lock over the triad lock anyday due to the ease of use and it’s just as strong as the tri ad lock in real world situations. When are you going to need to hang 500+pounds off your folding knife? Lol. ANY locking mechanism still has points of failure. if you want a knife with the best lock ever, get a fixed blade. Btw I’m not trying to be a smartass I just enjoy conversations with other knife guys/girls
@@jakegay5753 Eh I avoid the axis lock as a whole cause benchmade can't tell their ass from their hand when it comes to QC and with the amount of times i've heard someones new benchmade barely a month after owning it has an omega spring break no thank you i'll either stick to more reliable locks as a whole i.e compression locks, caged ball bearing lock, liner locks (when they're well made), back locks and so on but theres no way in hell i'd ever trust an axis lock.
My problem with emerson is the story of: "I was approached to develop this knife for the SF who couldnt carry in certain enviroments" ... it is just nonsense, have been in security/intelligence field for a while and if you cant carry a fixed blade in a certain enviroment you will definetively go for the most stealthy knife that you can get, if I am not able to carry fixed knives in a certain environent then I need the most stealthy, slim-profile, deep-clip-pocket knife... and emerson its just the oposite of stealth, their horrible handles/clips just protude of your pockets screaming "I have a knife!" (also the scythe grip on emersons is extremely unconfortable)... Emerson lives from the idea of tacti-cool without any real life aplication
Umm..dont think mr. Emerson or his history is nonsense. Different perspectives for different end users though. If you desire a different pocket clip they are available.. I typically carry at least 2 emersons. Right front and left rear pockets...because you know...
I think that these Emersons are just to keep the brand out there and to draw people into his customs that are the same designs selling for $1000+. That being said, they could be better.
They suck. The chisel grind they insist on on most of their knives MAY work well if you are a lefty, but if you are right handed its garbage. I really tried to like these knives…..I was even issued two different ones….but they sucked. The wave feature was really cool, but at the end of the day it was just a gimmick that tore up your pants pocket.

I really wish youtube would stop suggesting this video as the third pick anytime i search for ANY Emerson knife. Doesn't seem like youtube is being fair.
You’re right that doesn’t sound fair… I’m just happy that I videos are getting suggested
I get it I have two commanders yes over rated / over $$$ I give you for telling it like it is. SPOT ON
What knives WOULD you recommend?
There are almost 2000 videos on this channel that I would
I have an Emerson tiger which believe it or not actually has good detent. It also has the most horrific lock-stick of any knife I've ever owned. If you flick it open, or open with the wave, you damn near need a screwdriver to get it closed again. Opened and closed it hundreds of times and it makes no difference.
Well send that thing in so I can see one that has detent... I can carbonize the lock bar and try to get rid of the lock stick
If unhappy with the cqc15 I’ll buy it from you
You keep in mind emerson did cool stuff first ...unfortunately it never changed but ...i love them for that ..i think of it as nostalgia lol
It’s made to be used by military people. Us military people love Emerson’s.
Different strokes for different folks, nobody really cares.
I would be seriously disappointed about the detent issue.
what's the name of the alternative flipper you show?
Even a 30 dollar kershaw/emerson has better fit and finish. Ernies just ripping people off with these insane prices.
@TNS1089 deceptive how?
@Woobiecrew Please explain.
Today I learned:
Emerson = Butterface of knives
There is a very recent model I want to check out. I'll see if I can find a pic. It might be one of the best looking knives I've seen actually. But I agree, Emerson needs to take a cue from Hinderer and stop being stuck to their knife tradition and start making them like people actually wish they were made.
Haven’t bought one in 10 yrs because I was so frustrated. Just ordered an Appalachian last week to give him another shot…
I don’t blame you man, i’m jealous of Ernie too. there is only one other man who is luckier than him and that would be Ringo Starr..... but I still like his knives.
Well the knives of Ernie are for average men, wanting an unaverage lifestyle...
What was the black tactical knife you pulled in comparison?
CTF
What was the other all black knife you showed briefly?
You’ll have to watch it again and see if I mention it… I film this video Well over a year ago
Oh wait … that was the CTF from massdrop
Check the forums and FB groups. I’m sure you can find what you are looking for.
Sheepdog bowie is in stock
I’ll take the Emerson you got there bud
@CrazySharp what kind of blade shape is on this knife
Lol. Sometimes it’s tough being honest but highly respectable and always the right thing imo . ( unless you have to protect a loved one then lie your ass off 😂) .
I think a lot of western manufacturers need to pull up their socks, especially when you look at how good Chinese companies are becoming!
There's a guy that takes these and makes them full titanium on IG, it's day and night.
Mr. ANDREW CHARLET IS HIS NAME I BELIEVE
@@connorlapinske8522 yup thats him👍.. Very nice guy as well.
The best emersons are built by ZT, my 0620 is amazing
Agreed but those aren’t Emerson’s... that’s comparing apples snd oranges.
@@CrazySharp apples and bowling balls
Too bad.
100% true, 100% agree.
Another sad case of a company trying to cash in on a trademark name rather than the quality or competitive pricing on their products.
The one you're looking at could be an older one, as far as I know all of the newer emerson knives have stand-offs, not the back spacer. I have a few, and they all have stand offs.
“Swamp donkey” bwahaha
Emerson=the best ergonomics
$ 209 ?? I haven't seen one for less than the $300 range.
Dose it still have the lock stick
CQC 7 or manix 2? Thank you!
Personally, I would go with the manix 2 and upgrade the plastic ball cage with a metal one.
@@TheLostKoz That's exactly what I did with my S110V, blue G-10.
Hay Mike I think that’s my old Emerson mini cqc 15 I sent Chris and Elliot as a gift no joke. When Chris did work on my dao.
I wish these had higher f&f. They're attractive knives, but that's only half the battle
there are emersons that have excellent quality, you just need to drop $2k for the custom
If Emerson’s were like 60 bucks they would be great
Not all of us work in the same environments, I potentially depend on my equipment for my life and the life of others.
Dude these knives are so overpriced and over rated... but this was a mini CQC- 15 ... but they are not comfortable at all so I recommend against it
Why doesn’t your beard connect to your hair?
Its a great design thats poorly executed. Couldn't have said it better.
Emerson told him to go kick rocks he is sore
Yup
just get a kershaw or zt collab?
Another great video.. Thank you for the honest review its really appreciated. That's why I watch these videos, I want to get the best bang for my buck. This video was well informative and very helpful. Thanks again.
have you tried the Kershaw emersons? i bought mine for $30 years ago has lasted me forever through farm work, and best yet its impossible for me to wave it open without either using the pocket wave thing or my thumb on the stud
What are superior options over the Emerson?
they have sharpening contest with planers seeing who can strip wood the thinnest... i like the idea of a brand focusing on chisel grinds; the recurve would be more of a pain to sharpen for me. i have 2 emersons a seax and bulldog i like the g10 linerlock look. the wave and thumb disk are the ugliest parts in my opinion
ua-cam.com/video/zs9X-XzFGHI/v-deo.html
my father in law is a master carpenter in Japan... he has judged this competition... he taught me how to use water stones
Everything you said is exactly why I've never bought one. I like them looks wise, though
Why are you yelling?
@@CrazySharp sorry
@@bryantherocker lol
That sf marketing is probably mostly a lie too...kershaw emersons are of same quality
These should cost one third of what they cost at least
What knife do you use that has been provided and chosen by the seal team 6?
A leather man ... And just because you give something to a unit and put it in the stock system does not mean it was chosen by them
They choose what they want to use bro.... there’s a reason that they CHOOSE the freaking Emerson CQC 6
@@CrazySharp Hahahaha spare me
The hardware is a joke.
It’s sad when the Kershaw Emerson’s are better than the actual Emerson’s.
lol... RIGHT???!!!
I bought 5 of them practically unused at a pawn shop. The chisel edge is ridiculous to me.
Seems like Ernie puts all the his effort into his customs. He should be ashamed that kershaw an zt an protech makes his knives better then him
If I had enough money, I would buy emerson campany and teach everyone how to manufacture pocket knives.I am really sor for made quality.Beautiful design terrible made
I just picked up the Kershaw version and it's 100 times better.
All I heard was bla bla bla I like the attractiveness of this nife
Overpriced I totally agree though
I just don’t get it. The actions are trash. They are just bad knives.
Never got the Emerson fascination as well as Strider… overhyped and underwhelming. Also stolen valor
Blade chipped on mine. Seems heat treat was off, too hard
Way overpriced for what they are,bs hype...for sheep
geez. Those deep scratches.
All Emerson needs to do is go lock back and ditch the stupid wave and stop making the China Emersons and they would have something.
You're right they're crap!
How are they still in business? Idk how.....
Thanks for this. I was actually considering buying one. Will look elsewhere.
