Yes, she said follicular lymphoma is not aggressive but not* curable, comparing to a different non-Hodgkin lymphoma subtype called diffuse large B-cell lymphoma which is aggressive but curable. Hope that helps!
@@ThePatientStory Thanks! It really did sound like she said incurable for the follicular type. So just to be clear, there are no types of lymphoma that are incurable?
@@ldjt6184 Apologies for that typo! She said it is incurable. Yes, there are lymphomas that are currently described by many as "very treatable but not curable." Follicular lymphoma is one of them, a chronic blood cancer. Just as a reminder, we are not a medical advice giving site, but we do have a medical experts section - hope it's helpful! www.thepatientstory.com/cancer-medical-experts/

Did she say follicular lymphoma is incurable? I couldn't make out what she said @20:25.

Don't CT scans increase the risk of a second or secondary cancer? How many oncologists mention this to their patients, one has to wonder.
I think not knowing is much worse.
They do, 300 mg of melatonin shuld be taken 2 hours before each CT scan to protect healthy cells.
@@ellanola6284 Thanks, do you have a link for me?
