This was the peak. Back in Black may have sold more and made them "huge" but they were never the same without Bon's lecherous growl and often funny lyrics. "The body of Venus - with arms!"
Agreed with the sentiment and also about things being fun/ funny. This reactor seemed to get the vibe. Most appreciate the music but not the humour so much. This era always made me smile or laugh as well as loving the music 👍

it's awesome to be able to see the video's and get a feel for them but the feel from being at a live show will knock your socks off.
I think you’ve missed your opportunity to be honest with you. Brian Johnson retired because he was losing his hearing from the concerts. Malcolm Young, Angus‘s brother and the rhythm guitarist who really holds all the songs together, died about four years ago from lung cancer. Angus Young still plays with other bands occasionally, he’s played with the Foo Fighters several times, but it’s more of a special appearance than touring with. You know I’ve liked AC/DC since I was in high school and Bon Scott was the lead singer. Over 40 years. And in all that time I never once went to see them. I look back at that as my missed opportunity.
@@thewiseoldherper7047 Brian Johnson isin´t retired had a break but yes Doctors fear of him loosing his hearing due to loud Motor engine as Brian loves fast cars and was driving with no ear protection Axl took over for a while but Brian Johnson is back :)
Particularly during the Bon Scott era of the band, a LOT of the songs were about, 'you-know-what!' 😊

Its crazy i have my ac/dc shirt on too but mine is black with white letters.. I remember blowing the speakers in my marshal amp playing this song... Guess i gave my Gibson SG guitar. " A TOUCH TOO MUCH" lol . I think most rock songs in the mid too late 70s was about sex.. The Groupies was just insane. I could go in my motel room lock the door go too sleep then wake with 3 or 4 girls in bed with me with no idea how they got there.. Well i was in my early 20s..didnt really care.. lol.. We had one groupie that would follow us from town to town.. We never even knew her name. We just called her band aid !!.. I really didn't understand the groupie thing..

The only low point of this song is Robert "Mutt" Lange's production style which overtakes the organic nature of the band. This is my fave from the Highway To Hell album. Other songs to watch on that album are "Walk All Over You" and "Love Hungry Man".
Brian Johnson was a great replacement however i thought Bon Scott was special, love this performance.

Definitely about sex. Most of Bon’s era of AC/DC songs are about sex. The band just made better songs and rocked harder with Bon. Brian Johnson is awesome in his own right but Bon was one of a kind.
Real AC/DC died with Bon Scott.
