Sanjay Subrahmanyan (Reenamadhanuta) Navarathri Mandapam

Though there are bhajans, padams, javalis, thillanas and even varnams by many composers in the carnatic adaptation of raga Behag, Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Rama Varma of Travancore remains one of the few to have composed Keerthanams in this raga; Smara Janaka being a hot favourite among musicians and music lovers alike.
Here Sri Sanjay Subrahmanyan, accompanied by Sri S.Varadarajan, Palghat Sri Maheshkumar, Alathur Sri Rajganesh and Perukavu Sri P.L.Sudhir renders a lesser
known keerthanam by Maharaja in South Indian Behag :- Reenamadhanutha.
The concert comes to a rousing finish with this song and the electric lights come on
at the Navarathri Mandapam which is otherwise lit up only with oil lamps.
