I was intimidated until I watched UA-cam videos! I've used it a few times now. I actually have a mostly- frozen seasoned tri-tip in mine right now! Fingers crossed. (Potatoes, too) :)
I like my chicken browned, would I be able to sear the chicken in the pot first to give it some color and brown it before the actual cooking process? Seeing if this is an option or not?

Hi, is steam supposed to be shooting out while it’s cooking? Or only after you hit the release button at the end?
A small amount will come out, but if excessive then it could be an issue and won’t come to pressure.

Yes! There is actually a “Sear” setting that can be used first and then switched over to the pressure cook setting.
