What always amazes me about you is that you are one of the few people who can use both sides of her brain! How on earth you think so far outside the box is beyond my comprehension. Yet you choose to share those talents with us. Bless you.
Jennifer, you are my hero! You set the standard! If a product is endorsed by you, I know it’s great!! You are incredibly creative and your ideas and cards are amazing. Thank you!!!
Being addicted to your channel is a bit like being addicted to cooking shows - I take a little bite sometimes, but I don't really have time to cook OR eat because I don't want to miss the next installment ... Lol! What I'm saying is: I've learned so much from you! And this video is giving me a break on the to-try list, as I've successfully created stamps from foam in the past. Yeah! But then - I've never tried the shadowing of a stamped image with a cut version ... Oh my. Thankx!
I am sitting here in Vienna/Austria watching your fabulouse Videos and trying this new technique. I dont know you personal but you are like a friend to me, although you are on the other side of the world. Internet is Wonderful . Thank you so much.Hugs and kisses
Jennifer, your technique for creating stamps from die cuts is just priceless to me. This is a very good and useful idea for companies that create dies but never the matching stamps. You are extremely clever and your engineering background is quite evident. Thanks so much!!
A part of me is always a little sad for the engineering world that they lost your incredibly amazing brain. But I am always super, super happy that the creative papercrafting world gained it. I am continually gobsmacked at how many creative ideas you come up with :) These are fantastic, btw. Thank you for sharing with us.
Genius, as always, Jennifer. These are such great techniques. I can’t wait to try them out. Dies are so expensive that it will be fun using them in other ways. I have tons of dies because l’m obsessed with die cutting, even more than Stamping. Big hugs!!! 🤗🤗👍❤️😍
Well, as usual, you did it again! Lol I have a bunch of colored foam and wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it - I actually had to put you on pause and check this out! And IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY! What fun this is going to be! Lol Thanks for ANOTHER great technique! You never fail to AMAZE me girl! 😀
I'm glad you always add in ways in which we can do the same effect, even if we do not have the tool, stamp, or specific ink you are using. This helps people who do not have the money to buy the more expensive supplies to be able to use the basic idea.
love your cards Jennifer...I die-cut flower foam stamps a few yrs ago & stamped (with staz on ink) the re-usable shopping bags & got a lot of positive comments about them
Hi Jennifer 👋 you are such a clever young lady what a Fab idea thank you so much for taking the time to share loved the cards u made all the best Lin in South Wales uk ☺️🦋 x
I did this years ago to make a stamp for quilt patterns. They work great on fabric to make paper piecing . You can do it and make many patterns peices at once.
I think this is my favourite of all your videos! Thanks for all the terrific ideas. I also want to say that your colouring is SUPERB! The shading in the toucan is so realistic. Thank you!
Who would have thought to use foam to make a stamp from dies. Thanks so much. Now I have additional stamps in my collection. The cards you made are lovely
I don't know how you have an endless supply of new techniques, but this is brilliant. Definitely going to be trying this and buying more dies for this purpose! Thanks for such great teaching videos!
I just love tossing my brain around and shaking out the cobwebs that sometimes get stuck! Thank you for this jumpstart 😊 I cannot wait for the scrapbook show and the Hero Arts booth they are always so kind and excited to see everyone❤️
I’m always amazed at how you come up with such great ideas video thru video. You have a great talent and your cards are beautiful. God bless you always! 🤗
Thanks for sharing this technique. I had used it before but had forgotten. I used (permanent) adhesive backed foam to which I attached Postit tape to get a removable foam stamp. Works GREAT!
This is one of the most original ideas I've seen in a while and the concept more understandable than many other ideas... some of us (maybe just me) sadly have NO mechanical skills. Thank you! Love that card kit.
Jennifer - I have been following you for a few years now and I think I've watched all your videos and I can honestly say you always come up with new and amazing techniques and tips that you make very easy for us to understand. I thank you so very much for sharing all your amazing ideas with us - it is so appreciated xx
Well done Jennifer. I've made fun-foam stamps for years and wondered why so many more people don't also do it. Similarly for stencils. Use a die cut from 110# card stock and use the negative as a stencil. Or if able to cut acetate, even better. It doubles and triples the investment and what you can do with it. Thanks for reminding me about it and pointing it out to so many others.
I’ve learned so much from your videos. Always easy to follow and while watching I always think “I could, maybe, do that” and then find that I can! Bless you for providing your thorough instructions and demonstrations. You are appreciated.
"Shock and awe", every single time I watch one of your amazing tutorials, Jennifer! You know what I just realized today after watching this....that you make me 'excited' again and I mean the whole 9 yards, with the adrenaline kicked up a notch (I didn't think that was possible for this blessed Nana LOL)! That's quite the power you have, dear. Thank you so much and God bless!
Oh good heavens- this is a great and fun video! I have cut out foam for a stamp before, but you have taken it to a whole new level!!! I have to get out some foam and play!!! Thanks for always inspiring : )
Love your creativity, Jennifer! Thinking outside of the box. Great video, wonderful ideas, and clear, concise instructions - what more could we ask for?
I have experimented with using Elmer’s temporary ( or permanent) Kraft bond on the back side of the foam stamp. You need to wait about five minutes and can then use them on the Misti or acrylic block, store them on a sheet of acrylic, and use them later. They are just sticky enough to adhere so you can use them over and over. I have also embossed some of them on my Big Shot and you get a whole different look.
