Y'all these are called liminal spaces. Liminal means transitional. They represent the present, the moment of transition, like subways and corridors through which you pass, rarely ever stopping there. Just like the present through which you're constantly passing, from the past to the future. These places capture the fleeting moment of present. That makes them special. I have always loved this aesthetic.
@@deeyarajashekara7323 yupp... It's also eerie and familiar because we have been in such places. Subways, corridors, hallways, movie halls... But the difference is they were full of people. Once detached from it's context, that is people, they feel eerie. To me, it represents the moment of present, it's everything. Present is fleeting. They capture the present. Which makes them so special
Them pastel houses are from Edward Scissorhands because even their cars were pastel to match. Tim Burton is really good at using color to make you feel uneasy.
I’m very into liminal places cuz it not only gives you LOTS of nostalgia but they actually look scary and cool at the same time, this is my fav aesthetic ever💜
There's only two images that give me nostalgia. That's the first and the third image. The first one reminds me of this indoor roller skating place I used to go to with my cousins. The third one reminds me of Chuck e cheese, you know, that area where they have those long tables.
They're called "the backrooms" Commonly appearing in nightmares- they are rooms/places that everyone has seen at least once in there life time (play grounds, hallways, ect). Known as a "never ending puzzle" with common fears, such as Demons, the undead, ghosts, and sometimes even death. You're basically exploring the unknown recognizable (places that you know of but don't know the story about).

The houses look like the ones from A Wrinkle In Time…The ones from the place where every one is the same And the first hallway one looks like Nasa’s cubicle space but empty
These places Creep me out for some reason because I'm a 2008 kid which remembers some of these places (first pic, second pic) and I don't even know much what was the situation but everything that is from a year around 2010 creeps me out so much, I can recall all of them except the last one since I never moved out of this apartment I live in
That’s the kind of things people see when they have a near death experience, It’s familiar and nostalgic even though you haven’t seen it specifically and it’s emptey
There’s actually an aesthetic type thing called weirdcore which these pictures would definitely match. It’s basically a weird, nostalgic, sometimes unsettling type of imagery. Some people find it disturbing but I find it cool or comforting.
That carpet really brought me back tho 😅
Frfr
what's a bentellect video with out him saying 'facts' or 'ELITE:
Factssss
I went to a place with that carpet lol. You have seen that carpet once somewhere lol
That's the Chucky E Cheese carpet

Omg I thought the houses were from Edward scissorhands
Knew it 🖐
Omg, minds connect
Omg the second I saw it thought of that
I wanted to say that but I wasn't sure. Thanks for noticing the same lol

Hello L
U found kira yet?
@@devanshiupadhyay3756 poor guy died
But I thought you canonically don’t sleep
Me who never has seen any of them: Uhhh, I think I’m in the wrong place
Not even the carpet one?!? Damm feel you.
The carpet looks familiar, that’s it though, and I think they just had a similar one at an arcade I use to go to as a child
@@yolandaconitzer7333 nah i only ever went to the 2 small local arcades and their floor was just wood
U must be a little child… that’s ok that you never go to be in the 2000’s
Maybe those are africa places so people who are not living in Africa doesnt feel familiar at all?
Ben is amazing! Gives me all this vibes and always brings to my life a lot of fun moments!
And I never feel alone 😀

Thank you I was wondering
Like it went from:
Some random looking backrooms level to the backrooms found footage screenshot lol like what the dog doin
The reason you never see that house you lived in untill you were 10 is because that is the tutorial level.
It all gives me nostalgia now 😢
This is also a style called dreamcore, it's mostly nastalgic things from the early 2000, it's pretty cool in my opinion.
I believe it has another name, weirdcore?
Or am I thinking of something else? Cant tell

Woah it's crazy that everyone here is NOT telling him I'm in your walls 😂😅
Boutta become roast chicken when I set this place ablaze
That first one brings back laser tag and Chuck E Cheeses
Sometimes I don't get these jokes but still laughing by seeing you laugh 😂
''The house you lived in until you were
10 that you'll never see again" got me on the floor 💀
That carpet is from every arcade/skate park ever istg
I love your videos and this is so true
The houses look like the ones from A Wrinkle In Time…The ones from the place where every one is the same
And the first hallway one looks like Nasa’s cubicle space but empty
i was thinking the same thing about the houses from wrinkle in time
Yup it gives me the creeps
The first one looks like the pattern on a bus seat and the second looks like the neighbourhood out of cat in the hat
bro that house got me crying
Real life : yay
Roblox: my head stuck on floor
OK that last one scared me so bad, that is literally my Childhood house
"The house you lived in until you were 10 that you'll never see again"
*Me ten years old sweating*
The third one gave me fnaf vibs lmao
the "more weird nostalgia" one looks like the sitting area at the old FNAF games..
That "nightmare room" gives me serious backroom vibes
Me getting deja vu
Me looking up dreamcore photos:
The first carpet is like bruh I see you everywhere in every arcade, in most mall stores, and almost every bowling alley
They really look like the obbys that come in roblox
I feel wierdcore/Dreamcore vibes
You are really my anxiety killer my man 👍❤️🥺
Oh gosh you are too kind 😁 glad i can help 🙏
That carpet gives me movie theater vibes
Ngl I’ve had a nightmare in the hallway and the next one before I saw this video 😂👌🏻
the nostalgia pictures gives me ✨Skate World✨ vibes😅
The two before the last one looked like the back rooms
The 3rd one reminds me of fnaf
The hall and the table looks like that fnaf story-
i like legit lived in that last one. my earliest memory was them fighting and me hiding in my covers
The second one was rlly surprising 😂

Those nostalgic places you just showed, I swear someone told me that those places are called the backdoor, when you die you get taken to them.
I was thinking of five nights at Freddy when I saw this
That carpets definitely from the roller skating indoor rings that people would randomly invite you to.
The carpet is the cinemaaaaaa
these are called Liminal Spaces and they're my worst nightmare
Me who likes the dreamcore Aesthetic: *sweats nervously*
But the fifth one tho 😂
That last one... why so accurate? That hurt🥺
The carpet gets me!😰🤌🏼
That last one I was like “No, no, how could you do this to me! How could you remind me!”
Dreamcore/weirdcoreeeee
The nostalgia hits harder than my dad's belt.
The third one gives me Fnaf pizzeria vibes
Those houses just give me Ed Edd and Eddy vibes
Those houses at the beginning reminded me of A Wrinkle In Time
The first on looks like the carpet at the skating rink I go to
the houses look like the ones in the cat in the hat
That’s the kind of things people see when they have a near death experience,
It’s familiar and nostalgic even though you haven’t seen it specifically and it’s emptey
I’m really happy that these types of images are turning into a trend. They’re really cool.
Carpet, reason: chuck e cheese, aphmau, arcades, roller rinks, etc.
The third one looks like the room with the cams from fnaf
The first kinda reminded me on Fnaf security breach :0
This my friend...
Is ✨weirdcore✨
AH YES, *DREAMCORE*
The hallway one actually appeared in my nightmare and it is the exact one.....
This gives me weirdcore/dreamcore vibes :)
The birthday party looking one reminds me of five nights at freddys
That carpet brought me back
Me seeing the party room thing: AY OH WHY DOES THAT LOOK LIKE A ROOM IN PEPPER'S PLAYHOUSE?!
Can't be the only one who thinks the second one looks like the houses from Edward scizzor hands
All of that was relatable, I remember an apartment that used to live in looks just like that.😮
The first 2 give me wierd nostalgia even tho i wasnt even born at that time
That second pic reminds me of nuke town in cod
Carpets
I always get The Shining vibes when I’m in a carpet store
I love those places 🙂.. they're our memories
The houses remind me of the power puff girls
That hallway looked like a scene out if stranger thing
Thought I was hallucinating when I saw that carpet
Can we talk about how the hallway one LEGIT LOOKS LIKE THE HALLWAY FROM THE BATTINGTON ANIMATION
Bro the staircase in the last one looks EXACTLY like the house we moved out of when I was 8
The houses give me a daisy bell vibe..
That carpet reminds me of bus seats
Me:*sees the houses*
Me: OGGY!
The carpet gives me fnaf vibes
“Does it ever end” all I can say is that you’ll decimate the speed off light
The birthday party is like the one in brookhaven in roblox
Oh that carpet gives me a feeling of nostalgia j can’t describe
I can’t relate to the house at the end because I had a 1 story house with a spiral staircase to the basement
There’s actually an aesthetic type thing called weirdcore which these pictures would definitely match. It’s basically a weird, nostalgic, sometimes unsettling type of imagery. Some people find it disturbing but I find it cool or comforting.
yea those hall ways looks just like teh back rooms in level 0
The second one looks like a scene from a wrinkle in time where all the kids living there have to do everything at the same time
If you see those hallways I think you might be visiting the back rooms in your dreams but idk
me: sees colorful and orderly houses
also me: nuketown?
The houses from Edward Scissorhand have always gave me an weird vibe
i love how weirdcore this feels
