I read somewhere that Rege is the next Michael Jordan (the actor) and that bothers me. It bothers me because not only are they 2 different people but I want people Rege to be his own person. I want him to be known as his own person. Not compared to Michael or any other actor. I see bright things for him :)
Agreed. I actually think that Regé is even better as far as versatility, talent and depth. So he shouldnt be the shadow of anyone. If they need to compare him, I would say he comes close to Leonardo Dicaprio. PS: I like Michael B Jordan but Regé definitely has the "it" factor.

Just realized that they were serious here, because this is probably their push to get nominated for the Golden Globes and other awards show. Notice how they focused on their characters and the groundbreaking approach rather than the personal type questions we've seen in other interviews. Golden Globes nominations are announced this week.
They all did so well. It's not an extraordinary story but the actors and production did so well, so grand! The music scoring was fresh, the costumes, the diversity in cast! We have a fan group on Facebook where every race and culture meld together discussing love for Bridgerton, we've found a common ground and it's peaceful in there.

I love Regé but I also hope Jonathan gets a great season as well. He played his role in the first season so well. The chemistry between him and Sienna was so much off the roof. I was surprised when he openly stated his sexual orientation. He burned for Sienna in every scene😅

I hate when they call Simon’s character selfish. Daphne was the one taking advantage of him and he still committed to looking after her financially after that. He told her everything from the beginning.
I have a notion that this was their last interview together. After last week's evolution. I can understand why Phoebe was frustrated. She is a great actress. She will find he way. They don't need to promote anymore.
From a female perspective, I really love that the director NAILED the sex scenes. I really felt that they were done so well. They were sexy yet respectful-meaning it wasnt like I was watching a late night softcore 'overly dramatized' porn scenes. Personally I HATED the sex scenes in game of thrones because it always felt like they were objectifying woman in such a crude manner, and Im not an old person either. Just my serious grats to the cast and director. Now all I hope for is the exact same energy and beautiful writing and acting to be in season 2. Cant wait! xD

I think they spoke to each other before the interview to try to keep a serious face on, because they knew their reactions would be analyzed. You can see in some points of the interview they would start to smile, then realized they needed to keep serious. Also, you have to remember that this was taped a day, if not the same day, when season 2 was announced and the showrunner said he 'hoped' for Phoebe and Rege to be back for season 2. So, it's possible they were annoyed by that comment. You noticed Chris was only part of Rege and Phoebe's interviews, he was not there for any of the other cast members. I thought that was odd.

Felt the same. A lot of tension and formalities.
I think they spoke to each other before the interview to try to keep a serious face on, because they knew their reactions would be analyzed. You can see in some points of the interview they would start to smile, then realized they needed to keep serious. Also, you have to remember that this was taped a day, if not the same day, when season 2 was announced and the showrunner said he 'hoped' for Phoebe and Rege to be back for season 2. So, it's possible they were annoyed by that comment. You noticed Chris was only part of Rege and Phoebe's interviews, he was not there for any of the other cast members. I thought that was odd.

@@katzhavfun It may be as you say, but I don't know she is not very happy with him. She laughed more with the cast apart a few days ago she took the like of one of her personal photos I hope that everything is fine between them and that a good atmosphere is maintained.
