Sam stopping short at the stop sign rather than wrecking was also a nice callback to Kirby doing the same thing in Scream 4.

Amber’s line with knowing about Sam’s dad isn’t in the movie, her line changed to saying it’s a small town and Sam’s mom is a drunk, so her mom ended up drunkenly telling people. It’d be dope as hell if they introduce her uncle in the sequel. He’d probably be the killer tho wanting revenge for his niece.

They did actually mention why the hospital was so empty. I believe is was Tara’s sister or a cop that mentioned moving her to a empty floor with a cop to keep watch. It should of been up to the viewer to connect the dots when they saw the cop who was supposed to be at the hospital watching Tara and then he says that they got the call about the Sheriff being killed, which is why he left, leaving a random officer to watch over Tara
Yup, Judy said they were moving her to a private floor after Sam’s attack. I am glad they mentioned why the floor was empty though unlike Scream 4’s ghost hospital lmao

I would have loved to see more from Vince's scene; it was basically a prison shank. If they would have kept the shank, followed by the silhouette shot from the trailers, and ending with a stab to Vince's face. That would've been awesome. Every other kill was acceptable.

I think with the direction of everyone of the new characters having a family tie to the original cast, SCREAM BLOODLINE would be pretty cool
Whoever wrote the scream 5 script deserves hella recognition because that movie was gold

Technically, they're getting that recognition with box-office numbers and reviews. However, I am the opposite. This movies dialog is cringe and some of the younger cast struggled to deliver it as well.

I liked Wes’s lines and character
As sick as the Vince kill was in the script I like the how the film version it’s quick and shocking like a lot of Richie’s kills. Ambers are way more brutal and Richie just wants to get it over with, it’s a nice bit of characterization
I remember back in 2020 thinking we were gonna get an epic chase scene through Costco

Also, I believe Ambers line was something like, "Well, it's a small town, and your mom's a drunk!" so i'm guessing she's spilled the beans to people in Ambers presence or Amber was able to confirm it with her.

I found it interesting how Sam, as the daughter and granddaughter of serial killers, kills Ritchie in a similar fashion as her grandmother killed Randy: stabs and a slit throat.
Damn that's crazy. I think it kinda went over a lot of people's heads (including mine) that she was also the grandaughter of a mass murderer. If they would've linked that or referenced it in the film similar to what they did with Billy or at least an awareness on Sam's part, it would've increased the speculation around her sanity falling apart and the likelihood of killing being a genetic trait.
@@Dealio09 Yeah, I definitely would've appreciated a reference to that serial killer lineage a little more, seeing as how she is potentially, not a second generation, but a third generation serial killer. It does add to the suspense and questioning of her mindset and sanity.

Regarding a title: I'd love SCREAM LOUDER or SCREAM AGAIN like they originally envisioned for the sequels. It also would help keep this new trilogy from feeling dated OR "ripped off" from the original triology. Plus it helps identify when the series became reborn, not remade, making it more pleasing to see in a collection.

I definitely agree with that death scene sounding alot cooler than the one we got(but I did like the one we got..just wish Kyle would've gotten more screen time.)
They could have AT LEAST have Ghostface wedge the knife in Kyle's temple or head instead of the neck.
Vince was a character I was excited to see, so I wish he would have gotten more screen time and the script gave me that. Damn it! They hurt me lol
All I know is I want even more Roger L Jackson in Scream 6. He was my favorite thing about Scream 2022. I feel like we heard more of him there than in any other Scream movie. His voice gets creepier as he gets older. I love it.
Definitely like this version of Vince's death better, and the inclusion of Sam and Tara's mom.

I think a great title would be SCREAM GHOSTFACE or SCREAM NOW. The ONLY reason I like Vince's death in this is solely because Red Right Hand, I wish they kept the shot of Ghostface holding his arms in the air in the headlights though. Keep up the great work dude
Scream: The Sequel
It was a working title for Scream 2 (1997)….and they can easily use this now and it would work perfectly.

I really can't see Stu as a mastermind of any sort, by himself. In the first movie it seemed very much like Billy was the brains and Stu was just the sidekick in it for thrills. Possibly throwing in some ideas but I really can't see him coming up with and pulling the strings of any elaborate murder plan. Especially from prison. Which is why I really wonder what Williamson was thinking with his Scream 3 script. Sure, there could be more to Stu than the first movie lets on but something like that would come out of nowhere, it's too contrasting to what the movie showed.
Much prefer the introduction to Dewey they went with in the final movie. But the Vince death in the script is a lot better.
I wish they would’ve left the romantic relationship between Tara and Amber in the film. It could’ve tied into the motive better.

Sounds like they were trying harder to make people some red herrings (Wes being dumped for Amber, Dewey getting beat up before that a hole gets killed, etc.) may have been a nice touch considering I guessed the killers super easily in this movie, but I agree that I’m glad they didn’t show Dewey getting beat up. Do like the sound of that guy’s death in the script better though. Overall, some interesting details and differences! Can’t think of a great title, but I’ll throw out: Scream Ascending

I’m currently cutting a deep dive video and finding lots of snipits of BTS, and they definitely shot a lot of this so I can’t wait for the extended cut. Has to be way better than Halloween Kills extended cut.
I would think the next scream movie should be called Scream: Legacy. Since Billy's kid slashed up a killer, Gale still not dying and Sidney having kids. The legacies of all the characters are playing out. Maybe Dewey will have an instructional video on the new rules like Randy had in scream 3.

You missed the part where Liv is waiting for her UBER and she hears a noise, and as such pulls a knife out her purse and goes into the forest. This would help fix the gap inbetween where she went before she runs into the house.

My idea for a subtitle - 'Scream: Dead Ringer.'
"Dead Ringer" is a term to describe a duplicate, like how Ghostface is a duplicate, or how a sequel is a "duplicate" of the original in a sense, but also kinda connects to the use of phone calls and "ringers" in the franchise, usually leading to death.
A dead ringer can also be described as an echo. And what leaves an echo? A scream. Double meanings all around.

I think Tara knew who Sam's father really was and helped conspire with Amber to get revenge on Sam for leaving her behind. As we see, she ends up using Amber and Amber brings in Ritchie.

I loved the part in the script when the twins father was asking about chads practice and how football was going and if he was keeping up with his work outs. So you automatically assume he’s one of those control freak helicopter parents but nope! He asks mindy about her movies and watchlist and gives her advice. He was in the movie for 12 seconds but was a beautiful character..
The Tara, Wes, and Amber love triangle would have been really awesome tbh
And the extra Dewey scenes and Vince’s death would have been so much more interesting.
It’s the same with Scream 4, I wish they would have kept all the deleted scenes between the main characters.
I’d prefer a mix of both Vince deaths. One without Dewey but where he gets the original death
It would be cool to see a Stu reveal, and if Dewey had to go, at least have it be a legacy killer who does it.

What I loved about this script was how smooth it was. They wrote it so beautifully, except for the few changes, it was shot for shot what we saw. I like that! I’m glad you read it mike! Great content

Retribution my top choice! This title works if Stu is back and prompting the red right hand song, otherwise, “Huston we, we have a problem here”!
Dewey vs Vince was filmed so that probably is in the deleted scenes section. Also the Judy and Dewey scene.
Screams, Scream : Red Right Hand , Scream : Phantom Pains ( playing on the theory that wearing the ghost face costume makes them stronger and be able to take such a beating and keep going), Silent Scream (based on the painting) or if it’s the last, Scream : The final cut

And then end it there to be meta bc Stab 8 was a huge point of contention in-universe
They filmed the bar scene! It’s somewhere on UA-cam and it shows Vince and Dewey fighting. Dewey was gonna be portrayed as a total drunk guy who’s all depressed wout gale

For a subtitle - I'd like to highlight the town which for me has always been the best setting and almost another character so : SCREAM - The Woodsboro Massacre , that peaks my interest like the next installment will the be the bloodiest yet. I've been thinking about the Stu problem , and I think if u were to bring him back it would have to be because his parents hid him. When he cries on the phone and says "my parents will be so mad at me" that seems to suggest that Stu's parents really care about him and might be a little over protective enough to try to shield him from the police and fake his death. I think you would have to do something with his parents hiding him and getting him out of town to protect their little boy.
It's definitely tough, but maybe 'SCREAM: RESURGENCE' or 'SCREAM PART 2'

The "two famous black actors" used in Scream/ Stab 2, their whole conversation in the theater before they get murdered was laying the ground work for Hallie to be a Ghost Face but thanks to asshole leakers the story had to change. If it went according to plan the pay off would have been epic.

For the title, I like Scream: Revelations. And it would go into how Stu has been involved in different ways since the first and was the one who killed different characters throughout the series, like Dewey 🤷🏻♂️
Also, the Mary Sue was mentioned by Mindy in the actual movie when Dewey goes to Chad and Mindy’s house and they’re discussing the rules. So maybe some foreshadowing going on there, although I don’t think they explained the meaning.
There’s already too many things with that the finale of scream season 1 has that name and several fan films

Ok, if they decide to bring back Stu in a future movie, I would go with the subtitle of It’s a Scream as a nod to his line in the original.
How about Scream: Awakening?
Scream Again could also be a good subtitle for the next Scream.
Definitely like the scripts version of Vince’s death a lot more than what we got in the movie. The quick shank was kind of funny in the way he was such a tough guy but was dispatched so easily, but I really wanted more from that scene. Kicking the Jack out and having the car fall down on him could’ve been so much more entertaining and really elevated the kill to a Tatum type kill.
Also, the Amber size difference really doesn’t bother me. Personally I think it’s going to have to be a necessary thing that we all will need to allow some suspension of disbelief for. If the killer is tiny next to other characters that’s a dead give away and kind of spoils it. In my mind, when you put on the costume you become ghostface, and that persona is projected to us the viewer in that way. I think it’s necessary to not give anything away and maybe also just a logistical thing or budgetary thing with stunt people who knows lmao.
I’m really glad Sam and Tara’s mom was cut from the movie, sounds like a lot of fluff that was cut, like Jills mom in S4, 100% unnecessary character that added nothing to the movie. Having her constantly be drunk would’ve felt awkward. I might be in the minority here but I also don’t really want Stu to come back, to me that would be way too cheesy and forced. I think that ship has sailed since the scrapped original S3 script. I think too much time has passed for it to be passable.

In all seriousness though I think a good title for this one would've been simple and somewhat expected, "Scream: Legacies" in honor of the re-quel aspects of the film. One of my favorite parts about the movie is that the same amount of people died as in the first movie, the same amount of new people lived as in the first movie, and the same amount of people are brought back from the dead from script to film cause their characters likable.
I love WWAM! These are my people. I turned to my wife when Officer Vincent came on the screen I turned to my wife and said, "that's the 'oh don't I..' guy from Hot Rod."
