I was stunned to learn what close friends Kenny and Lionel were. Lionel took his death hard, and as a fan of both of them, my heart broke for him. We watched the show on CMT last night and it was a nice tribute to Kenny. They had a lot of fun during the 30+ years of their friendship. I think my favorite performance of the night was Dolly singing/playing "Sweet music man".

34 years ago in 5th grade. I sent a letter to Kenny. He sent me a 12x 12 picture signed. I still have it to this day. He's legend 💖💖 Love Kenny

I was just singing this song to my wife a bit earlier tonight - she is having some serious health problems and is in almost constant pain.. I sing songs of love to her, to distract her from concentrating on the pain. Another 2 months and 3 days and we will celebrate 55 years of marriage. She is and always has been 'My Lady". BTW, I am using her laptop while mine is down for repairs.
Have your wife seek out a Pain doctor through a pain clinic in your area. That is if you already exhausted this option.
@@archieanderson2945 - thanks - there is nothing they can do that has not already been done - she has a very high pain threshold, so when she moans, I know that it is more than the usual. Plus she is housebound,, and those pain clinic doctors don't do house calls. I haven't seen a doctor do a house call since I was a kid in the '50's.

Kenny was a true gentleman, I worked at the Meadowlands in new jersey back in the 1980's, I was security there and everytime he played the Meadowlands I was always by his side coming out to the stage in the brenden Byrne arena and he was the nicest man I ever met, I have 4 autographs from him and I'll always cherish them from this true gentleman R.I.P. Kenny started out one of my very favorite singers when I was only in 2nd or 3rd grade when I'd borrow a quarter from my Gpa to go play something on the jukebox at the Legion and one thing that would always be included in my picks was The Gambler. When he came out with this one I was hooked immediately. Probably the best love song out there and him and Lionel both deserve some huge credit for this one. You will always be miss Kenny.

My mother went to the New Haven Coliseum awesome and she went to the casino to see him whenever he was in Connecticut.
