I've mostly be left cold by a lot of releases the last 2 years but DAMN; Straxus looks incredible! They even got his vehicle mode spot on. Right up there with Tarn for getting it perfect.

I’ve been waiting for him as well but then I saw a picture with blaster in the background he’s just way too small he’s smaller than the weapon he comes what he’s like the size of blasters foot i’ve never gotten ravage or Lazerbeak so I wouldn’t know if they’re actually as small as steel jaw but that’s just my thoughts
The hammer for springer is a reference to the old comics as he was with the wreckers definitely planning on picking this one up as it looks much better than the siege in my opinion as well as the extra mobility in the shoulders if nothing else

Finally my boi Skywarp is getting a Studio Series! I honestly think that his color scheme would have worked better for an ROTF Jetfire retool, but the BBM Seeker mold *is* more screen-accurate, so it's a win-win.
Most people may be let down by all the repaints and the re-releases, but to me it's s sigh of relief. "Oh thank God, there's only one or two that I want. Now I have more money for groceries."
I do hope future WFC drones get their own mold, the Decepticon Gunner should get his own mold, as well as Shotgunner, Rocket Trooper and especially Brutes and Titans!
That Straxus is much better than the time way back when he was just a repainted retool of Skullgrin (though the Hasbro release of that Straxus was renamed Darkmount for some reason; Takara's release was the correct Straxus)...

I feel that the 86 line has been a mixed bag. When they decide to give new molds they absolutely cook however most of the time it’s either repaints or remolds of past releases which sucks. They’ve completely neglected bayverse this year and there isn’t much left to do for bumblebee or rise of the beast.
I'm quite liking the look of Springer. I always wanted Siege Springer but never got him, and I got the Wreck'n'Rule version but was dreadfully let down by the awful feet being too loose to stand him up, the chest always popping out and the transformation being absolute hell the first time around. If they tune up these problems for 86 Springer, along with that great new tooling and articulated hands, I'll give him a pick-up for sure.
In her defense, Slipstream's first figure, which was released as part of Takara Tomy's _Legends_ line in 2015, was a repaint and head retool of _Thrilling 30_ Deluxe Windblade.
personally im really digging that Skywarp, im glad they didn't go the route they took with thundercracker and actually gave him the grey pieces both Starscream and Thrust had, couse as much as i love Thundercracker, i think he had way too much blue to the point most details got lost in the lack of color contrast. here we mighht have less purple than we wished for, but at least theres some more variety in his overall color pallete
Funny, as a Unicron Trilogy and Animated stan, I usually thought the new reveals such as both Armada and Energon Galvatrons along with Animated Motormaster were the best part about the Fanstream reveal. Oh well lol.

Maybe retool the arms, or just one arm to have a port/post connection for Laserbeak? & maybe include Laserbeak, too? Again, would it work? Edit: I forgot abt Quake! I'm also excited for him! & Steeljaw is so freakin' adorable!
Why is a leader class sound wave such an issue? The voyager price point is roughly $30, mean while I have never seen core class figure less than $10 and you get 3 of them. So you’re getting what would cost you at the very least $60 for a like $6 less

I love seeing Legacy United and other Legacy lines doing the Unicron Trilogy shows. I'm personally picking up most of the Cybertron toys from Legacy United. I've also been picking up Fans Hobby's take on the Armada figures which I have Prime, Galvatron and Overload with their Jetfire and Tidal Wave coming out soon. Their also doing the legendary weapon trios of the gun, shield and sword which I can't wait to get as well.
Bumblebee and Springer look amazing. the WFC decepticon... meh but I'll still get 2. Steeljaw, im just gonna stick with the G1 original just like I'm sticking with G1 ravage and probably G1 Ramhorn
Slipstream definitely needs a new chest piece that actually has a foe cockpit, new wings (preferably in animated teal), and a more animated style head. If someone makes that upgrade kit I will buy it.
I love seige springer, but if his quality control wasn't absolutely horrible, I wouldn't be getting this one. Especially if the transformation joint at the knees is finally fixed.
I’m hyped for ss86 bumblebee. I think he’s improved so much from netflix but I understand why people don’t like how he isn’t a complete volkswagon or he doesn’t have the blue windows. But the cherry on top is he won’t be as hard to find as the netflix one 😂
That bumblebee looks stellar! Dunno what you guys are complaining about. That’s what his vehicle was like it the cartoon and now he has accurate colours and logo on the chest too
that straxus will be mine ! :D :D :D man its a good retool. the cannon is RIGHT outta the comics . at this stage in terms of comics characters i recon it could be retooled AGAIN into "Flame" , though he was more of a fire tank than a fire cannon. but beyond that what i really want is an emerite xaaron. he's pretty much the only big non toy player to not get a toy now.
I hate to say it, because I was beyond happy when I first heard we were getting WFC/FOC figures, but the way Hasbro has treated this line is honestly incredibly disrespectful to not just the loyal fans, but the developers of the games. There's so much love surrounding WFC and FOC, from both developers and fans, but Hasbro are butchering them and there's no reason for it. Why is a figure of a cut, C list concept character, such as Sunstreaker so much better quality than fully fleshed out A list characters like Bumblebee and Barricade from games that people played for years? Hasbro can do better, but for some reason they don't care to. Frankly they're losing money because I've seen all the Gamer Edition figures other than Optimus go on clearance in every store, online and physical. This line just isn't doing the games justice. Hasbro will see the poor sales of these figures and assume there's no demand or interest in games, which couldn't be further from the truth.

Not really true, tho. Most of the SSGE figures have been good-great. Only Barricade is kinda poopy. Megatron is quite good (don't have him, btw), the only bad thing is the stupid knee-stopper things. Optimus, Sideswipe, & Starscream are the best ones, I think. Bee & Cliff are good, too. I actually want Swipe alot. Maybe Optimus, too.
2:35 you aren’t wrong. I had to preorder it off of Amazon rather than from Hasbro from how fast the preorders kept getting sold out. All in all, reveals were ok. Not great but I’m not disappointed. That said I am SO EXCITED for Soundwave. Bros my favorite and I was so disappointed I missed out on all of the G1 Soundwave molds. Interested what the Cassettes are.
I get why they made the forearms come off to make it more game accurate with the guns but honestly it makes the pegs EXTREMELY loose over time. My Optimus arm legit falls off
I am honestly surprised they haven't done soundwave lazerbear and ravage in the 86 series yet. I will have to watch the movie again because I don't remember springer at all, as for bumblebee I think he looks good. They could have tweaked him a little better but all in all I like him
...but the toy proportions ARE accurate to the animation (and comics) for Bumblebee. He's literally never looked like a realistically-proportioned Beetle in G1. That complaint is stupid.
The issue here is not the weird proportions of the car, it's the fact that only the front looks like a Beetle; every other part looks like Cliffjumper G1 car

I line the skyward figure but for me I just think hasbro just painted ss bbm starscream with another color I’m a bit disappointed with this one but after all it’s not a bad figure
I had the siege Springer and he was alright but of the over 40 figures I own any others from WFC I sold ive never had the slightest piece break except on Springer.The peg that snaps his legs together broke right after i got it and im careful my figures i even sanded down the breathable grapple pegs and they work perfectly,im not sure if it was just my copy of Springer or if it was a more widespred QC issue.
Studio series 86 bumblebee it looks more closer to the TV show because that’s how bumblebee looked like in the TV show. He looks like a baby looking beetle.
They need to bring more of bayverse hound,que,widowmaker,infernocus,tlk optimus,tlk megatron,maybe the first primes in bayverse which look like fallen,the knights of iacon in bayverse,quintessa, bumblebee maybe in black form like aoe beginning
Decepticon Soldier seems to be a very extensive retool of Barricade. The hips and hip ball joints are the same. So is the gun and the hands. And also the armature that secures the wheel wells on the legs. Every other visible piece is new tooling.
I don’t know why they gave this Springer the Hammer. Kinda wanna wait and see a side by side comparison. I do like the color pallets a bit more than the other versions
I tell you what, I can’t wait for the decepticon soldier, purely for the vehicle mode and because it will also be my second gamer edition figure my first being starscream
Even though that WFC Decepticon Soldier's a retool of WFC Barricade he looks cool even with all that junk on his back and legs. Springer and Straxus look cool too. For those spacebridge later reveals the only ones that interest me are Legacy Energon Glavatron who will be a clearly be a repaint of Legacy Energon Core Megatron, Legacy Armada Galvatron will be a repaint of Legacy Armada Megatron, that Optimus Prime and Soundwave look like they'll be studio series 86 and I hope they have new molds, Legacy Animated Motormaster will clearly be a repaint and retool of Legacy Animated Optimus Prime, and that Slipstream looks like she'll be Legacy Cyberverse and a repaint and retool of Legacy Cyberverse Windblade
Not having gotten a Springer since the 30 line, I'm looking forward to this one. I also don't have the Seige Bumblebee or Soundwave, so those releases are on my list also. I really wish they had managed to keep the VW form for bee though. Straxus looks cool as well. Steeljaw is a must because we haven't gotten a release in too many years, but it's not the best looking figure that it could be, for sure. I would have preferred some more detail and articulation, and maybe had they released the cassettes as a set they could have done this for each and garnered a higher price point.
They didn't have Bumblebee back in the _Siege_ line. At the time, a toy of G1 Bumblebee wasn't released until the _Earthrise_ line, and his design in the Netflix series was entirely original.

Thumbs up for baddass bad-girls! I am super happy about the Slipstream reveal! United Windblade is a great mold, I'm glad they're reusing it! Honestly saw it coming since they did the same thing with Legacy Prime Arcee and Flamewar. And I'm always glad to see more female characters get their plastic representation. I'll have three of the baddest bad-girls in my collection: Flamewar, Shadow Striker, and Slipstream!
I really hope they do a repaint of Armada Universe Prime for his Powerlinx colours to pair with the Galvatron (Also would look great with my original Powerlinx Optimus toy)

I say the cartoon and movie itself wasnt one hundred percent accurate, so I say SS86 Bumblebee will be a pretty good figure for being what he is.
Infantry is pretty awesome! Because it’s an army builder, I plan to get three. One for me and one each for my brothers.

Slipstream definitely needs a new chest piece that actually has a foe cockpit, new wings (preferably in animated teal), and a more animated style head. If someone makes that upgrade kit I will buy it.
I love seige springer, but if his quality control wasn't absolutely horrible, I wouldn't be getting this one. Especially if the transformation joint at the knees is finally fixed.
I’m hyped for ss86 bumblebee. I think he’s improved so much from netflix but I understand why people don’t like how he isn’t a complete volkswagon or he doesn’t have the blue windows. But the cherry on top is he won’t be as hard to find as the netflix one 😂
That bumblebee looks stellar! Dunno what you guys are complaining about. That’s what his vehicle was like it the cartoon and now he has accurate colours and logo on the chest too

man its a good retool. the cannon is RIGHT outta the comics . at this stage in terms of comics characters i recon it could be retooled AGAIN into "Flame" , though he was more of a fire tank than a fire cannon.
but beyond that what i really want is an emerite xaaron. he's pretty much the only big non toy player to not get a toy now.
Based on the yellow hand and red pointy shoulder, I think Hot Rod/Rodimus will be the last Comic Edition reveal, and his cover will be Issue 43

Springer got a upgrade from Legacy. Also, it seems Hasbro is embracing troop builder concepts. Straxus looks okay.
I hate to say it, because I was beyond happy when I first heard we were getting WFC/FOC figures, but the way Hasbro has treated this line is honestly incredibly disrespectful to not just the loyal fans, but the developers of the games.
There's so much love surrounding WFC and FOC, from both developers and fans, but Hasbro are butchering them and there's no reason for it.
Why is a figure of a cut, C list concept character, such as Sunstreaker so much better quality than fully fleshed out A list characters like Bumblebee and Barricade from games that people played for years?
Hasbro can do better, but for some reason they don't care to. Frankly they're losing money because I've seen all the Gamer Edition figures other than Optimus go on clearance in every store, online and physical.
This line just isn't doing the games justice. Hasbro will see the poor sales of these figures and assume there's no demand or interest in games, which couldn't be further from the truth.

Not really true, tho. Most of the SSGE figures have been good-great. Only Barricade is kinda poopy. Megatron is quite good (don't have him, btw), the only bad thing is the stupid knee-stopper things. Optimus, Sideswipe, & Starscream are the best ones, I think. Bee & Cliff are good, too. I actually want Swipe alot. Maybe Optimus, too.
That springer is a joke at 55 bucks i don't know what they are thinking!

2:35 you aren’t wrong. I had to preorder it off of Amazon rather than from Hasbro from how fast the preorders kept getting sold out. All in all, reveals were ok. Not great but I’m not disappointed. That said I am SO EXCITED for Soundwave. Bros my favorite and I was so disappointed I missed out on all of the G1 Soundwave molds. Interested what the Cassettes are.
I get why they made the forearms come off to make it more game accurate with the guns but honestly it makes the pegs EXTREMELY loose over time. My Optimus arm legit falls off
I am honestly surprised they haven't done soundwave lazerbear and ravage in the 86 series yet. I will have to watch the movie again because I don't remember springer at all, as for bumblebee I think he looks good. They could have tweaked him a little better but all in all I like him

...but the toy proportions ARE accurate to the animation (and comics) for Bumblebee. He's literally never looked like a realistically-proportioned Beetle in G1. That complaint is stupid.
The issue here is not the weird proportions of the car, it's the fact that only the front looks like a Beetle; every other part looks like Cliffjumper G1 car
@@fabiomura08 Bumblebee had a very square chest in bot mode, so I can excuse it carrying over into the car. As for the rear, eh, who really cares if it's a little genericized? It's the front of the beetle that's most iconic.
A realistically proportioned Beetle looks good. A deformed chibi car looks horrendous.

I had the siege Springer and he was alright but of the over 40 figures I own any others from WFC I sold ive never had the slightest piece break except on Springer.The peg that snaps his legs together broke right after i got it and im careful my figures i even sanded down the breathable grapple pegs and they work perfectly,im not sure if it was just my copy of Springer or if it was a more widespred QC issue.
They retooled springers thighs to remove the already minimal detail¿ animation accuracy needs to never be a goal lmfao
Studio series 86 bumblebee it looks more closer to the TV show because that’s how bumblebee looked like in the TV show. He looks like a baby looking beetle.

Decepticon Soldier seems to be a very extensive retool of Barricade.
The hips and hip ball joints are the same.
So is the gun and the hands.
And also the armature that secures the wheel wells on the legs.
Every other visible piece is new tooling.
I don’t know why they gave this Springer the Hammer. Kinda wanna wait and see a side by side comparison. I do like the color pallets a bit more than the other versions

Even though that WFC Decepticon Soldier's a retool of WFC Barricade he looks cool even with all that junk on his back and legs. Springer and Straxus look cool too. For those spacebridge later reveals the only ones that interest me are Legacy Energon Glavatron who will be a clearly be a repaint of Legacy Energon Core Megatron, Legacy Armada Galvatron will be a repaint of Legacy Armada Megatron, that Optimus Prime and Soundwave look like they'll be studio series 86 and I hope they have new molds, Legacy Animated Motormaster will clearly be a repaint and retool of Legacy Animated Optimus Prime, and that Slipstream looks like she'll be Legacy Cyberverse and a repaint and retool of Legacy Cyberverse Windblade
Not having gotten a Springer since the 30 line, I'm looking forward to this one. I also don't have the Seige Bumblebee or Soundwave, so those releases are on my list also. I really wish they had managed to keep the VW form for bee though.
Straxus looks cool as well. Steeljaw is a must because we haven't gotten a release in too many years, but it's not the best looking figure that it could be, for sure. I would have preferred some more detail and articulation, and maybe had they released the cassettes as a set they could have done this for each and garnered a higher price point.
They didn't have Bumblebee back in the _Siege_ line.
At the time, a toy of G1 Bumblebee wasn't released until the _Earthrise_ line, and his design in the Netflix series was entirely original.
@@ZachDy-xg9it When I said Seige, I meant the entire WFC trilogy. I do now have the '86 Bumblebee and think it is a great figure, despite the penny-racer aesthetic.

I am super happy about the Slipstream reveal! United Windblade is a great mold, I'm glad they're reusing it! Honestly saw it coming since they did the same thing with Legacy Prime Arcee and Flamewar. And I'm always glad to see more female characters get their plastic representation. I'll have three of the baddest bad-girls in my collection: Flamewar, Shadow Striker, and Slipstream!
Except Legacy Arcee is a terrible figure, Shadow Striker doesn't resemble any of her on-screen appearances and Slipstream isn't a Seeker.
