The song isn't ment to be a creepy thing. It's about an overprotective mother trying to keep her children safe from all danger but it gets to the point where it feels like they are trapped, real rabbits and hares bury their kids to keep them safe. Yaelokre has some other really good songs, my personal favourite being and the hound, I would defiantly recommend reacting to the rest of their songs. There's also a lot a lore beind it that can be a bit complicated
@@Walt24hrs Btw the 4 kids are the one’s dressed up as those 4 spirits at the end. The children names: The goat: Clemmié The hare: Cole The tree: Kingsley The moose: Pirrine
The lore of the song is that rabbits hide their young in air pockets underground to protect them from predators and after a while they have to go find them, but most of the time it takes a long time and oh well
@@cristianefiszpan4027No that’s not the lore the lore is that: A selfish kind mother buried her children to keep them safe but the kids feel like they are trapped it’s not about cole/the kid with the rabbit mask.
The song is actully about a overprotective mother triying to keep her children safe from the danger... Real rabbits and hares bury their children to keep them save, dont worry they dug a little hole so their children can breath inside the hole they dug for them. If this song is cool press here 👇🙂
Here's some lore: The children in those masks are from some weird fairyland, and they're embodying a group of spirits that recite stories or make up their world. The artist, (Yaelokre), has an Icelandic father and Filipino mother. (And to be honest, you can ACTUALLY see the Icelandic influence PRECISELY)!
Song reminds me of the “child in the attic” mother hide the children away. For selfish reasons, this one was being “ overprotective” in the song but still the intentionally hiding the truth.
You did not understand at all💀 so the harpy hare is the mother who is keeping her children in the ground to protect them from danger the children known as the lark I’m pretty sure they escape and go far away

Here’s some lore I guess because I feel like everyone else in the comments if just making fun. So yaelokre has created this world known as “meadow-lark” and the kids that you see here are known as “the lark” I wanna make it clear that in this world that yaelokre has created, there is not such thing as gender, and most of the characters go by they/them and it/its. The one in the bunny mask is Cole, the one in the goat mask is Clementine (or Clementé), the one in the tree mask is Kingsley, and the one in the moose mask is Perrine (or peregrine). They all dress up as things known as “The harkers” and a big misconception is that The harkers are gods but yaelokre themselves has stated that they are not, this is still an unfinished project that did kind of just begin so more information about the harkers will come out in the future.
A hair has a den like under a tree or somewhere when they leave their children they need to make sure to keep them safe so they make a makeshift door and bury them
