- Airbus saw a drop in deliveries for May 2024. However, the planemaker also recorded a new order for 20 A330neos from an undisclosed customer. Meanwhile, Norse Atlantic Airways enjoyed a highly successful May, with traffic results more than doubling year over year as new routes were launched. Lastly, Emirates has announced that starting September 3, it will begin four weekly flights to Madagascar on a triangular route to boost connectivity.

Please Airbus…focus on making your airplanes correctly and not quickly. Even if your customer delivery rate is lower year over year, at least airline companies and passengers can be assured that your planes won’t lose a door plug mid flight. Don’t pull a Boeing. Trust takes a lifetime to earn and a second to lose.
Airbus has to ramp up aircraft production to meet clients' demand as supply chain's disruption hits. Carriers need Airbus to offset the orders delayed and deferred by Boeing amid the 737 max fallout.
Indeed, but even then it won't be enough to satisfy demand.
Hopefully Embraer can find an investor funding the design of a 737 competitor.
@@jantjarks7946all your hope just for Embraer to come up with something. I'm telling you they won't. There's nothing
@@nickolliver3021 No one cares what you are writing Nicklolly.

Boeing is cooked already it’s over
@@DarkSlumber no it's not over
Mandatory overtime for A220 workers, shortly after lengthy contact negotiations...
Because the workers apparently deliberately slowed down production during talks
Good On Norse Atlantic Airways.Great Video And Info
Thnks Dj!!
It will be a good investment for Airbus with these A330-800s, but these aircraft will be highly anticipated as they will be very important for this type of commercialization.
Thanks vidios
Airbus, as the numbers stand now, are on target for around 610 deliveries. To meet that target of 800, that leaves Airbus requiring just under 80 deliveries for each of remaining 7 mths. Only averaging a smidgen over 50 per mth. A bit like a run chase in cricket! The cricket equivalent of 15 per over for the last 7! Lol. Just a thought
Ohhhhhh cool vid!
Where did you get these news?
Internet
Flightglobal.
Airbus just reported that in March the A330 Neo underwent testing in Bolivia and Mexico.
Yeah
why would the aircraft need to undergo testing in Bolivia and Mexico?
@@malcolm5514Aircraft tend to struggle in airports that are high in altitude and temperatures, an American example would be Denver. Thinner air provides less air mass in the engine intake and less air for the wings to produce lift with. Typically you will see aircraft carrying a lighter load with less bags, or less passengers to compensate for its poorer performance.
@@ShakeyBalance oh ok. I'm surprised they haven't already done that. I'm also surprised they wouldn't fly to somewhere closer like Africa XD
@ShakeyBalance great explanation mate
Who ordered da a330neo?
might be cathay
Maybe Vietjet
Undisclosed.
Should Boeing make every thing perfect on the new 777? Yes.
The giant headline says, "Airbus Order". There's no actual Airbus order. SMH.
It's good to see Norse Atlantic applying tactics that are successful for the airline, ensuring that they may be able to avoid the fate that befell Norwegian.
No one cares what you think Nick Olivoyl II.
Putin must be restricting materials and parts to AB 🤔
There are a lot of things in play here. You have that war between Ukraine and Russia, we have the Palestine and Israel war, supply chains are still very much disrupted from the pandemic (I work in the automotive industry and getting certain parts for cars is still difficult as well), and many parts that were produced by some suppliers are needing to be produced by others now because some businesses didn’t make it through the pandemic. The supply chain issue is a disaster and I’m not sure that it will recover in any soon time.
Too many reports about Emirates.
