We hit not just 1, But 5 huge crystal pockets in one day!!!! not including the abundance of little gemmy herkimer diamonds!!!! this was our most epic day yet, most certainly one for the books! thank you to mohawk valley for allowing us to be a part of their mine!!

So what are they are they like crystals what do people do with them do you cut them down for like jewelry or just display them and how much are they worth what's the money involved in what you found there ? Very cool

They are quartz crystals! The smaller gem quality are often used for jewelry, however the larger crystals are used commonly for show pieces. Crystals range in size and go for as little as $1 up to tens of thousands all depends on the clarity, points, and inclusions
