This was a great video. It was nice to see a 20+ min video of harvesting good crop. I like the longer videos, even if it is just harvesting. It's calming.
Hey Mike, so happy you are finally harvesting a good yielding crop. Farming in your part of the world is definitely high risk and you deserve a great reward!
Mike, love your video’s. Bin watching for 3 years. North farm video’s are the best. Nice to see how te north farm develops. Greetings from the Netherlands
Mike has an amazing skill set, to think he started this farm from scratch 2 - 3 years ago. Most people wouldn't even know where to start. Happy he is getting the rewards for his hard work.
That X9 seems so quiet inside compared to the older models of JDs. Listening thru my headphones, I can fall asleep just to the soothing hum of that 13.6L.
Really happy that you have good crop up there. Been tough last couple of years I imagine. Nice to have some success. Down here in Central Ohio. Just now sorta getting ready to cut beans.
Hi mike brother i am from india i am your subscriber and i am watching your video over 2.5 years and in india the method , mavhine , and other stuff are so different from canada farming so i like the huge machinery and i like your talking style so even then other farm video are there but i always wait for your video🎉🎉😊 thank you for sharing your farm videos have a great day❤❤
Mike, are you satisfied so far? With what you have with what the weather has been? I know the weather has not been good for you guys. They're not good here and I want either. But I guess the fella has to take what he gets. So be safe and keep up the good work. And don't let your guy get hurt either.
Are you using Harvest Smart Automation. I have been using it and find that it really helps . And using the autospeed makes it a easier drive all day long. Combine just looks after itself it seems.
Given how much better the yields are on the north farm, and how bad things have been for multiple years on the south farm, it seems like your family might consider reducing their footprint in the south and look for land to buy/rent up north.
I wonder what is the shelf life of that bag material. If it has an acceptable shelf life, how about unrolling the bag inside out on a warm day and let it dry out. What a job that would be unrolling it inside out. MIKE, invent an inside out unroller conraption -!-😉
The. North. Farm. Is. Going. To. Save. Your. Farming. Career. Take whatever money. You can. Get out of. The. South farm. And. Buy. More land close to the north farm
I am sure you are aware...can't mow down willow starts and kill them, kinda like Canadian Thistle. I guess up north that type of thistles is called that name.
Don't know if you follow farm progress show. But they had a test run by your X9 the Case IHC and Fendt combines. Winner hands down was Lexion was one staunch JD man brought in the lexion ran comparisons himself. He would run the John Deere shut it off then run the Lexion side by side. Ran several tests that way. He called his John Deere man and said come and get your combine. He was sold right now. Wasn't by a minimal amount , considerable amount.
@@truebluebluetick yeah and the plugging and the rotor issues and the header issues and the grain loss issues and the software issues, I love Deere but I’m very disappointed and I certainly would be for a million dollars
Mike i have a question.; is it so much difference to bag it now instead of hauling it rightto the terminal? I guess bagging als cost like 1 dollar a bushel with cost bag, more machines , labor etcetc. Love from Holland 😊
Haven't heard Mike use the phrase "really happy" and the word "crop" in the same sentence much the last few years. Great to see this.

I approve this message
I too could watch a draper head cut wheat for a very long time.
Just started watching ur vids ...ur a good farmer and a comical one makes it interesting...stay liquid..
Its good to see a smile on your face with the durum crop
Put Ashtyn on the combine Mike, you need a break 😂😂 the lady won't miss any.
Atleast Ron helped unplug and replace coupler on x9 he plugged
When there’s good crop Mike makes long videos😂😂
🎉🎉HOORAY MIKE FINALLY GOT A GOOD CROP🎉 🎊
Glad to see a better crop.
Hey Mike, so happy you are finally harvesting a good yielding crop. Farming in your part of the world is definitely high risk and you deserve a great reward!
Thank goodness. Happy your harvesting a decent crop.
Seems weird to see you cutting so much material! Glad the crop is doing well!
Great seeing you in a good crop !
Should bring the old Massy up🤠

He had the south farm too help him out
Awesome
Thanks for taking the time to make videos. Very entertaining and informative.
Love the durum.
Years agp we harvested durum in N Dakota.
Was always a nice crop.
Except after freezing while very green
Thanks for the longer video. 👌
Good for you for trying different crops that are not common in the area. I admire what you are doing with that.
Happy for you to finally have a decent crop to harvest. 😅😊
Good northend crops.
That looks like a great crop Mike.... Happy Harvest👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Glad you and Ashtyn have a good crop up north after the poor crops down south, enjoyed the video Mike thanks

Nice n quiet in the X, for sure! Sounded like a Cadillac!
Nice to see some decent crop coming in at your north farm!
The drought at the south farm looked pretty discouraging
Kinda funny how i like watching your videos while playling farming sim 22 on xbox😂😂
I think after long time your seeing a good yielding field have a good harvest ❤❤
Really happy that you have good crop up there. Been tough last couple of years I imagine. Nice to have some success. Down here in Central Ohio. Just now sorta getting ready to cut beans.
Great awesome video mike ,
Glad you are having a good crop. You are braver than me.
Good to see a nice crop finally

Set you implement width to 1ft so you just hit auto steer wherever your tractor is. That's what we do on our grain carters
Man this crop looks like actual healthy wheat😂
great crop im pleased for ya well done mike
All this talking of pasta made me think of carbonara and now I'm hungry, thanks Mike. 😂
That durum looks *juicy*, in the best of ways
Nice crops
Hello Mike 👍😉🇮🇹
Let it yield c'moon, yeah babe gimme those bushels. 💪
Hopefully you can demo one of the new Class 10/11 Red combines when they come out.
Imagine how much work you could do without the camera in hand
Will we possibly see Ashtyn operating a “Red Demo” combine this fall ?
YES!!!!!!!
No we won't
No fear of that
Magnifique moissonneuse batteuse x9 1000 et la coupe et le champ et le tracteur et le transbordeur est bien équipés 😅😊😮😂

"Keep her in the mustard"
We're not gonna go in the mayonnaise
We're not gonna stop at the mustard
Right into the ketchup
(as Mr Zip ties says 😂)
thanks
your a great farmer mike

Thinking back to my days sitting on the Massey Fergusson 525 combine.... oh yeah that'x9 is so loud in the cab! Must be unbearable...🤣😂😅😙
too bad Timmy or Timmon isn't there like last year.

Lentils make me choke too!
❤❤❤Io🇧🇷🚜
Got keep it in the Relish!! 😂
Yow Mike, hang a GTS Brazilian 62 foot head on the snout of that 'bine in that durum and the snails will be passing ya.
There went profits because Mikes recording. 😂😂
I'm so happy for Mike. And I'm from other continent and I'm not even a farmer.
Get another grain bin for shrt tern storage of Durum, or extra covered trailers for overnight storage. 7:09
He should do that, you gonna pay for it?
dont want to take it the ketchup ever mustard only😂😂
Make a "Backstop" screen to stop throwing wheat over the top of the header - think a baseball back stop but Plexiglass. 11:33
Our drill small holes in the area
How good does the straw spread behind the x9 when you are taking that much in?
Morning
Can I bring my 9610 up there?!… I wanna cut some bushels!😫

you deserve a beautiful harvest
Can't hear well - Do you have a Decibel noise meter for the phone? Quantify it. 😮 19:07

Put the link in a comment so I can watch it
Mike where is the other x9 and the s690 that we saw on your north farm in Ron's video?
9:07 it's never good when you lose the trust in the machine wen you push in to the limit.
Wait? You have guidance in your cart tractors?? Man I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that… I’ve always just free handed it
Hey Mike would it help to put a air system on the head
Honestly, at this point… I don’t even see the point of the south farm. You’d have to cut for a week to equal 1 day up at the north farm!!!
What kind of profits do you make growing puleses directly? After harvest.
I would have liked to know how many acres that field is/was
Man after seeing how that x9 does I think I’m better off with my s680
I also thinks it’s kind of disappointing for the price tag it’s not pumping out the productivity I’d expect
@@truebluebluetick yeah and the plugging and the rotor issues and the header issues and the grain loss issues and the software issues, I love Deere but I’m very disappointed and I certainly would be for a million dollars
Is Lee back for fulltime or just Rush help?
How much to get the other X9 up north ??? Or did u drive it ???
That south x9 will not know what to do with its self with all that grain
What's the temperature outside whilst you are combining
Is Lee back with your farm full time now
Mike i have a question.; is it so much difference to bag it now instead of hauling it rightto the terminal? I guess bagging als cost like 1 dollar a bushel with cost bag, more machines , labor etcetc. Love from Holland 😊
Can't always haul it straight to the terminals here so thats why bagging or setting up bins and storing it until it can be hauled
Does the pea/canola auger move in sync with the draper belts on that header?
I know it's a lot of work but would it make any difference if you cleaned your durm wheat before shipping it out
how long will you get to combine before weather get to bad
End of the unload auger looks like it's drooping
❤
What variety of durum?
I wonder if an 1100 would have better ground speed with that 50 foot head in that crop.
Dunno if that is an 1100 that you are running.
1000
Thanks.@@richardradawetz8788
How many acres are you up to on the north far
What is the orange hanging over your right shoulder? It's driving me crazy LOL.
That’s a window breaker in case the combine tips over and starts on fire you can break the window and get out.
Hyper-super X9 new technic... Why use old 8000 seris PTO switchs??? I dont understand! :-)
What is the best yield of Durham you’ve had at the south farm?
