Wow, a new character? I doubt this Izumi will be playable anytime soon though. From the looks of it, she's more like Stryx/Lex situation using her powers more to support than to fight.

I honestly feel this, but at the same time, I'm happy there's future content to look forward to for UNI at all and until march, it's absolutely free. I used to spam watch vods by that Hyde channel years ago, back when there wasn't any sign of french bread bringing their games to the west like that. bought Uni in a heartbeat the second it was out on JP PSN. Aside from rollback, this feels like a dream Uni game for me, and even though because I like Izumi the most, I'd love for her to come sooner, I can at least play Granblue's new content in between if I wanna switch things up, aside from Uni's huge gameplay depth!@@GenerationGamexp
Naahh, and with how little they showed of Zohar, in contrast to Izumi, I figured something was up. You have to remember that a character not being the main fighter physically, does not truly disable them. Lex could've always been paired with Radiata, who was likely the nerve prepared. DDF themselves posted that as a viable theory.
Some of my favorite fighters of all time are characters like Bedman?, Celica, and Eko/Kazu who when paired with someone else, become viable. I do get the angle, but there's also one where she took this route to avoid fighting out of preference since he was there/be a teaser, but is capable with her fishy, which seems to be what they went with.
Happy though! Means our pass is pretty diverse, with a brand new entry to the plot and all. Opens some new doors on her own too, I guess potentially literally. Definitely my favorite so far aesthetically and I like that she has water/a fishy companion!

So yea 100% this ain't over. At most it'll be something like the next game is Under Night Re-birth so they can say "See that really WAS the last Under Night In-Birth we didn't lie!" or the next entry won't be a fighting game or something like that.
