The craziest part of GSP's legacy to me is that he hasn't slipped up once outside of the cage, no allegations from women, no drunk mishaps, no encounters with police, no driving issues, no poor choice of words, no fights with the public. The thing that stood out most to me as well was when I watched his GQ video about how he spent his first million, then compare what he used his money for against guys like Adesanya and Usman. Dude is the peak male role model.

shows how many PEDs he was on, desperate to get the belt back. They're not even the same weight class in the cage, GSP has at least 10-20lbs on him and the height/reach advantage, Serra could've fought at 145-155.

Cutting 30-40 pounds for a fight is not uncommon at all, Khabib would kill himself making 155 when he walks around closer to 190+

This is an example that a fighter can be the GOAT even he has few losses then and there. What counts here is the grit, the ability to comeback and give a statement, doing something which has never been done before.

Stunning, to go from shocking upset loss to total dominant performance. So mentally tough.
Easily the best ever. Anyone that challenge themselves in a different weight class after wiping out a division goes down as one of the best. They’re not scared of that challenge. Even style bender he lost but I still have him as one of the best because he challenged himself. The fact that GSP lost to Serra and came back and absolutely dominated him in the rematch almost makes him an even greater fighter than if he had never lost to Serra in the first place.

The same weekend this happened there was also a Montreal Canadians playoff game happening. It was a warm clear weekend and it was a massive party until the Canadians lost. If you look it up you'll find that there was also a riot downtown. We ran into GSP outside a nightclub, I think this was Sunday night. He was half in the bag and quite funny. I was shocked when him and his entourage jumped in a shitty little four door Camry or something and sped off. I also got to meet Dan Henderson. He sat down right across from us in a restaurant. To top it off, when we flew home, it was me and a friend and about 60 patch wearing bikers on the plane. Hell of a weekend!!!!
