I’m in Scarborough lots :) lived there while at university for three years - and not too long ago - I was sat just outside shot while they were filming scenes for ‘St Maud’ ;) saw its one of your most fav movies - so thought I’d share :) - the scenes down by the end of the pier by the lighthouse - one where they’re on a bench (which is blocked off now!) and the other where they put a telescope at the end of the pier .. also saw them filming the beach … fire .. scene :) no spoilers here

Thanks this was a great help. Hadn't been to scarborough for 11years. Went yesterday and had ice cream at flamingo bay and fantastic fish & chips from lifeboat chip shop. Will definitely be back soon 👍

My parents took me and my sister 30 years ago for the first time on holiday, we always stopped in the same guest house on Alma Square, the sea front has not changed much, maybe a few changes in shop names

Scarborough isn't that boarded up really - in fact I'd say the opposite. I was there at the weekend and walked around the centre with rebecca my partner and we were saying how it was much better than it was
