Yummm. A glass of that water with two ice cubes and an umbrella. Errr. Maybe not. Looking good. So is the van. 😉 A van made with your own blood, sweat and hopefully not too many tears. You'll get more cuts than that before you're done.
I’m loving your enthusiasm for demonstrating the before and after effects of the sound deadening😂. I just made the connection when you showed the scar. My mum had an operation on her thyroid gland, before I was born. It was an unusual procedure back then. The scar looked like she’d had her throat slit.
I started watching wills whereabouts channel and was glued to his ever since he started his van conversion and I can see this channel going in the same direction! Can’t wait for the next video update.
Your excitement is on full show.. Good for you.. you will love it when travelling about with freedom .. Great job.. if you need a hand , I would be happy to throw 30 years building experience at it. Just doing my own van now..
Love watching you I have a camper called Hazel after my late mothers name ours is coach built and I love my windows your doing a great job good on you girl your dad must be so proud Of you ❤️
Hi Becca. No matter what has happened in the past, focus on this wonderful journey and van build that you have embarked upon.Always fined the positives.I wish you every success with the build and journey.Watch, like and comment as you progress.👍
I cannot wait to see what you cut off next once you start using big tools, maybe invest in a first aid box before the next job, it's going to come in handy.😂😂
Absolute love it when people decide to make a massive change from the grind, buy a van and live how they want and not how we are programmed. Looking forward to see the end results
Congratulations on the growth of your channel , dont forget to put the sound deadening above the cab and insulate above as its traps moisture there too. Brilliant 👍
I think you had some serious wildlife living behind those ply panel's 😂. I remember when building our van every now and then, leaving finger prints or little smears of blood on various thing in the van....that will become the norm 😂. I was just saying to my wife while we were watching "she's either not having any windows in the van, or she's wasted a couple of bits if sound deadening" 😁👍. Well done, that will make a big difference to the drumming and other road noise in the van, and will help deaden the sound of rain on the roof and sides when it's p.....ersistently raining😁. Keep up the good work, don't be afraid to ask advice, tips etc. before doing anything, there's a wealth of knowledge on here. Looking forward to the next installment. Take care 🙂👍
You’re cracking me up Becca with your tapping to test the sound deadening & your sense of humour 🤪😂 I also can see you are so keen & excited about this new chapter of your life & thank you for sharing that with us.
Nice job Becca, always better to have slightly more material than you need.......... the law of sod always dictates running out of stuff just after the local supplier has closed for the night/weekend. ( and yes, this is from experience...... building my mk7 transit camper) keep up the good work, and your smile, it's infectious......🙂🙂
Good Morning Becca , just watched your latest installment. Just want to say nothing is gained that is truly worth it without blood, sweat and tears. You can see the excitement in you as you get each job done. Excellent video Becca Excellent 👌 👏. Paul
Great vid Becca ( scissors would have been better to cut the dodo hon ) nice to see your excitement ,following you and your dad making this build ….remove that bulkhead next 😁
Nice job, masking tape is a good temp plaster. I would think about not limititing which side of the van your head goes on some times you may be on a little slope and not want to get ramps out, if you can just sleep the other way round on your bed it will make for a much better nights sleep than been forced to either find a new spot or sleep with your head down.
Similar to the stuff I used, but I put closed cell foam over the top as well, I'm currently converting a fiat ducato and have various videos on my channel if you want have a look , keep up the good work
Love what your doing I have the same van and spent all last summer converting very worth while but many hurdles to overcome. Good luck I am watching with great interest.
Hi becca i have had a lot of fun watching your videos today love what you are doing i to am converting a van the same as yours. we are at the same stage in our builds i am all so videoing my journey just not so quick at the editing part. one life live it. x
Having spent 13 months converting mine I can confirm it's simply the rules to shed blood, sweat & tears, oh, & the odd concussion (in my case quickly getting up from laying the floor & forgetting the overhead cupboards were above me 🤕) Nice work btw 👌
G’day Becca thank you so much you make it really easy to understand , i’m buying my van in July and I’ll be starting my outfit looking so forward to it so I have subscribed and I look forward to watching your journey take care BSafe
Hi Becca , Loving your positive have a go attitude and willing to learn as you go . I’m hopefully doing my own van in the new year so I’m watching your build closely , I too have watched many many van builds over the last 4 months , some good ( Wills Whereabouts/Urban Vanlife and The Rolling Rucks are some of the best builds for info ) and some bad , yours is good and very entertaining and your smile and excitement is great to see . Hope you are doing a van build total cost and where to buy all the stuff you used in the van build at the end . Keep up the good work .👌
@@myvanworld Thanks Becca ! yeah Ireland is pretty cool. I live in the south and have camped in most of the west a few years back and along the Wild Atlantic Way is beautiful.
What about the spaces between the sound deadening material? With gaps that big, I don't know as it's going to be very effective. I know you knocked ON the material, but what about next to it?
I was always wandering about having a skylight above the bed. I've seen many van builds videos when people are adding them and I have seen many videos when people show problems with condensation but never have seen video telling what happens with the condensation on the skylight especially above the bed. The last thing you want is to wake up to a wet bed 😃
Nice vid Becca. I did wonder if you were putting in windows, till you said about the woopsi, lol Keep up the good work, look forward to the next one. Have a good Cristmas, Krusty🎅
Merry Christmas... You already opened your present to yourself ;) Good call on Will and Campervibe, have you also tried Urban Van life, who are friend's of Wil's? And Chrome over in Canada (VnCity VanLife) is doing a big guild on a second vehicle at the moment....
I’m enjoying watching your video I’ve just bought myself a Ford transit custom for my first van and doing the same thing you’re doing but on a smaller scale hoping my second van will be a Volkswagen transporter
Hello I’m following your progress because I think you are a total inspiration, and also very funny. I love your outlook on life and I so want to see you living your dream. PS you have a lovely smile, infectious personality and you are also very cute 😘

Awesome job, so invested in your vids now can't wait to see your journey unfold, massive respect for following your dream and hope you are in a better place 🙏🏻
I spent over a grand sound insulating mine and it made a huge difference. The biggest mistake I made was not spending enough on security. I've subscribed and keen to see you get it done.
Great vlog and much better ending even cheeky kiss. Good to develop your own little signature elements, like you I’ve watched many van builds and done one myself. Top tip do inside the cab area inside the van door cards under the roof lining and floor it makes a big difference especially to driving. If doing floor needs to go under your flooring and stuck to metal of floor but floor is less critical as it’s already very structurally stiff. Are you taking bulk head out ? Otherwise if not think about a hatch in bulk head you can climb through to enable to drive off if anything bad outside. Well done be interesting to hear a little more life story as weeks unfold.
Thank you. I’ll use what I have left to do the cab. Flooring is the next video coming I’ve already done that & still have some left! Definitely ordered too much 🙃 Yea door going in bulkhead soon. I was thinking about sharing a little more of my personal story but wasn’t sure what people would be interested in, so I’ll sort something out :) thanks for the support!
Nice job Becca! You looked like you really got a great sense of satisfaction from sound deadening the van. I know when I did mine, the difference after was amazing. Only thing I didnt do(but am going to) was deaden the van front doors but I'll do that when I upgrade the speakers. Nice job on the wheel arches too. That was part of the job I hated. You might think about putting some sound deadening on the floor too. Keep on smiling and enjoying the build. Bessy regs- Kenny
