I was an orchestra kid so PDQ Bach was the type of humor I'd listen to on repeat in my youth. I even went to one of his concerts. IIRC it was called "Airing out the G-String."
Lumi’s cute reactions to a very old favorite. As a young teen in the 70’s my only source of original avant-garde comedy was on vinyl records. I listened to PDQ Bach, Firesign Theatre, George Carlin and Cheech & Chong. Don’t know if these would be PC these days but I’m glad that some young people are discovering them. We lost PDQ Bach (Peter Schickele) only last January at 88.
@@deividfost This is no mere "classical music". This is a very specific humor niche. I don't expect today's youngsters to know who impressionist Rich Little is, for example. Speaking of dumb takes...
@@JJJohnNiles All it takes is the right parents. My brothers and I - all in our twenties - love some niche 70s and 80s comedians because our mom introduced us to them.
May she is over 30, maybe she isn't. The impression that I get from her is that she is well read and had what some might refer to as a cultured, upper-class education. It makes sense she would have knowledge of more obscure and older stuff.

The cassette era had some bangers, too, like Duck's Breath Mystery Theater.
Holy crap, I would never have expected PDQ to be referenced anywhere, let alone here XD
I see Lumi is trying bring some culture to the gumis
Ahhh, nostalgia. My thanks to the Lemon Woman for bringing back an old memory.
PDQ is up there with Tom Lehrer in the audience never being 100% sure how much is them being trolled.
Oedipus Tex by PDQ inspired my love of classical music.
Im sad the vod didnt survive. I was looking forward to seeing this one but couldnt catch it live. Oh well the clips are good at least lol.
The Lemon needs to play Dragon's Lair 2
Oh this is good
What stream was this?
The music jokes stream on youtube from around 9 days ago.
Now I'm glad I ditched the music stream. PDQ Bach is OLD af.
When Lumi says she's not 30, she means it.
Implying only old people listen to classcal music? Very dumb take...
