- Shannen Doherty,raven-haired actress, known for her roles on the wildly popular series “Beverly Hills, 90210” and on the witchcraft fantasy “Charmed,” has died after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. She was 53.
Doherty’s publicist Leslie Sloane said in a statement,
“It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of actress Shannen Doherty. On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease.”

RIP Shannen, your strength has giving many others fighting this horrinle disease the courage to keep fighting till the very end. I have been watching charmed for years and to this day I still watch it I was sorry to see you leave the show. Shannen you will be missed and for sure your dog Bowie will be lost without you.God bless your family and friends and give them the strenght to continue on. Cancer is a horrible disease although great progress has been bad we still need to find a complete cure. Cancer took my brother and my mother aunts and sister have been victims of breast cancer, My mother survived 30 years after her dx. and years later came back killing her of lung cancer. My sister is a survivor and God willing the disease won't return. I had a lump removed thank God is was benign.

I didn't want to watch this but of course I did and that made me think of my niece at my sister's funeral. My sister battled this awful disease for many years. At her funeral my niece gave me and some other people items labeled specially for each of us. You could see the thought in her mind. These women are Warriors! ✝️🕯️🌹☮️🕊️
