I am 1850 elo, playing for over 30 years and believe it or not I have never understood the minority attack until I watched your video! Thank you! I finally completely understand the minority attack and have won my last three games with the Catalan because of it! Would love to see more pawn formation videos.
Dude, this s by far the most instructional chess channel on youtube, and it gets waaaaaaay less credit than it deserves. You've helped me improve tons my chess
I'm happy I find this video 5 years later :D I'm playing QGD and the Caro-Kann as Black and will be super useful to be familiar with. Keep up the good work.
Stipen, you should seriously consider becoming a chess coach to new players. The way you explain things is so much better than anyone else i have encountered.
This video has changed my way of thinking. Great work sir. Please do make more of middle game ideas. This is more important and beneficial than openings. Although openings video are very good too
perfect explanation, this channel is a gold mine i'm going through all the videos. I found it due to the content on my main Black opening the Philidor but stayed for the rest. Thanks for sharing!
hey thanks I'm learning Simple Chess book, and got stuck about the Open File and Half-Open File, with the combination of The Minority Attack. until I watched this video. thank you very much
Thank you for all your efforts, your channel helps me more than anything. As soon as you have time, please post another problem in the commons section on these "lessons". Maybe viewers don't realize they are there, they haven't many views.
Hi thanks very much! I just wanted to ask why moving the flank (h/a pawn) one rank up is crucial? From your examples I understood that sometimes it’s obviously necessary from certain plays, but on others it seemed to me only to slow down the minority attack. My point is that from the video that move looked almost thematic, is it the case? If not than why?
Thank you for your thoughtful instructional videos. Yasser Seirawan is a chess hero of mine since a few years after the Bobby Fischer chess boom in the United States.
No problem Sir! Yes, GM Seirawan is one of my favorite players, and definitely my favorite lecturer. His books are amazing and his style is as if he read you fairytales:)
Thank you a lot Very nice video for wonderful instructor This topic a bout how to weaken pawn structure We need some videos about pawn structure Best wishes Thank you
I doon't think so. It makes no sense in the Nc3 main line, in the e5 advance variation, in the two knights, the fantasy or anything else. I guess you might make it work in the Breyer variation (1. e4 c6 2. d3 d5)
You should do a video about YouTubing. Covering how you make your thumbnails, how you record the screen, how you make the animations in the beginning. And maybe other things too ?
Chess coaching is very costly, if after spending money people will not get better learning than this, U r much helpful for the needy people, Please reply if u read
Great vid! Do you also have videos attacking castled kings pawn structure and the timing of these attacks? I got curious when you mentioned it towards the end of the video. Thanks!
I love this because it is a simple plan in a quiet position. Something I struggle with quite a bit
Yeah, it's really easy to do if you know the idea!
this is some great quality content... Hope your channel grows just like that of agadmators
Thank you:)
@@HangingPawns It's better than agadmator's. Just saying.
Add Background pets for the algorithm & thumbnails 👍
This Channel is unique...dont compare it
@@rowlandsibakwe2039 ...or is it?

I think for this much information other youtubers might have charged money through various courses ...but you did it free of cost ....heads off to you

Nice concept. I'll try out this strategy the next time I get this pawn structure.

very logically explained, thanks.
Excellent exposition! I wish you support this with some examples of real games of the masters like Karpov :)
Yeah, I thought about that, but I wanted to make it as short and as simple as possible
You can make some separate videos of games on positional elements.
Thank you a lot
Very nice video for wonderful instructor This topic a bout how to weaken pawn structure
We need some videos about pawn structure
Best wishes
Thank you
No problem Islam. I'm glad you like the video. More videos on pawns in the middlegame are coming up:)
Love your videos, good work, please keep going!
Thanks Nate, I will!
Great stuff. Thanks!
Thank you sir!
No problem Sir!
Great video!
Thanks!
Great video!!!

I really love your videos, just have a question. Is three a good line for white in the caro-kann where he fianchettoes his LSB?
I doon't think so. It makes no sense in the Nc3 main line, in the e5 advance variation, in the two knights, the fantasy or anything else. I guess you might make it work in the Breyer variation (1. e4 c6 2. d3 d5)
Great video as always. Can you make a video on grünfeld defense. Thanks in regards.
Coming up in the d4 series:)
superb idea and pressentation
Thank you:)
So how do you defend properly? Try to get your rooks over there first and/or trade asap?
Brilliant! It could also happen in the London System.
Excellent video!!!
Excellent thx😊
Thanks
No problem Subash!

thank you didnt know about ththis
Does this means that exchange QGD is better than exchange caro Mann for white?
Who in their right mind would take the pawn isolating their own
A good minority attack example could have been Sicilian defence
Who did play the example game ?
You should do a video about YouTubing. Covering how you make your thumbnails, how you record the screen, how you make the animations in the beginning. And maybe other things too ?
Plzz u didnt do kings indian defense plz do it bro asap i need it for a tourney
I will do it in April. Once I have finished the e4 series. I have a schedule i stick to
