Greetings! It is a thing of grace and beauty you have created. From the title of the video I formed the idea that you would be turning openings with four or five of the crotch making branches and have one vase with many openings. I am not sure how that would be done, but it would be interesting to see! Look forward to more beautiful creations in the future! Take care and be well! Kelly

It was a wonderful walnut lumber not available in my country.
The work is purchased by the sender.
The next video is a round pot of cedar.
Cedar is said to be difficult to cut neatly, but please look forward to it.

What I like about your videos is that you turn the walls as thin as you can get them. A lot of the other channels leave the walls thick or sometimes don't even hollow out the vase. And the colors that you get in the pieces of wood are amazing. I really enjoy watching you turn.

I love to transform green trees when they are thinly finished. These days it's not very thin due to old pieces of wood, but it's thinner than many wood turners. Announced about four days later, the burl vase has a very unique design. Please look forward to it.

When you put that gouge down in that tight place at the bottom, I thought, that thing is going to catch! I’m glad the whole pot didn’t explode! I had expected that you would use the sawdust to fill all of the defects, but I think it is better the way you left it. Good work!

I used the tree submitted by the same subscriber as in the previous video.
The angle of the blade was turned up too much. Fortunately, the knife was sharpened, so I only had to cut out a part of it.
It was a wonderful walnut lumber not available in my country.
The work is purchased by the sender.
The next video is a round pot of cedar.
Cedar is said to be difficult to cut neatly, but please look forward to it.

I wonder about the stability of the wood. Was it completely dry or did you use some product like PEG to stabilize the wood?

If the wall thickness is 1 cm or less, no major problems will occur. However, if the tree species is highly deformed, a protective paint is required.

The purpose is protection to prevent cracking and corrosion. In addition, Japan has a lot of humidity, so it also prevents mold. It's an expensive paint, but I use it for my work.
