@@psfphotography I love mine only thing I hate is water pump if ever goes out it's not cheap and door lock act up but overall, it's has lots of room and it's rides smooth. I recommend you get one you fall in love it
Bought the 2013 Flex Ecoboost Titanium (mineral gray/monochromatic pearl black roof) with optional 20" machined aluminum/black painted wheels because: very roomy/comfortable for all; love the twin turbo V6; super quiet and smooth; great full length multi-panel glass roof for second and third row passengers plus sun roof (glass) for front row; quality Sony sound system; adaptive cruise control and so many other features. Simply put it is so different and I love driving it.
I had a 2013 Flex FWD Limited for a rental & it was impressive. My friends called it a big ass refrigerator box, but were pleased when we cruised to our favorite restaurant for dinner. I wished the front driver seat had more leg room (or adjustable pedals as they were too damn close to my feet). Overall, the Flex was kind of a badass & could be a sweet ride if it lost the 3rd row & was shorter. Plus, it has similar styling characteristics as the Land Rover LR4. I liked it!
With folks all ga ga for crossovers, I have never understood why this car(?)/truck wasn't more popular. I think these are so neat (sorry if I just dated myself) especially when they have a contrasting roof color, and can only conclude 99% of buyers are fixated on the whole sitting up "high" thing. Of course it doesn't help that the fuel mileage rating looks dismal...until you factor in the available power.
I tell you sir how much still more surprise giving me this vehicle , not even a month went buy but tell you this box shape vehicle is amazing, look at it and it said it well , I regret that I told my daughter that I bought for her, its 2019 Ford Flex SEL, so maybe 2 yrs get to drive it then my daughter will take over it cause(Student driver still) she will get her Pro driver license in two years, (BC, Canada licensing law), perfect car for family, maybe next I will buy is Limited Edition.👍👍
I drove to Cleveland for a 13 flex se for 14 with on 30k on it. I'm about 60 miles south of chicago in the 219 area code. Best deal I could find and I love it. Cant find a flex with that mileage for less than 20k in indiana.
Two very different vehicles, We like the Flex more than the Explorer, however that may change as we are getting the Explorer Sport in for review in a couple of weeks
I realize I'm commenting on a decade old video here, but I have to say, you knew next to nothing about this Flex. So many features/specs you either got completely wrong or left out. Would think you would've looked over it first or maybe had a salesperson give you a tour before trying it yourself.
I have these vehicles for a week, sometimes more than one at a time. I’m sure you knew ever in and out about your vehicle in the first few days you owned it.
Thank you for the review some people need to grow up on these comments!! I am interested in buying a flex and I appreciate your time on this video!
Funny how everyone hates on the Flex, until they drive it and use it.

LOVE MINE HAVE SAME COLOR
@@curryellis7244 Have you had any issues with yours? I was looking at getting another mini van but the Flex sounds very interesting... Thanks!

@@curryellis7244 The water pump issue is my fear as well.

The second row also has a button
That automatically raises the seat to get to the second row
Kinda like the Range Rover but at half the price
I like Ford flex cause its cool and a family car and can transform to cargo toooo so it's cool
just measured it...120in flex .... my maxima is 109 in the same length as a Honda accord front to back
Omg why didn't you press the button to let the seat down

Хороший обзор и тест-драйв есть на ютюб канале " Us cars на русском "
think he meant explorer
Too bad it looks like a huge stainless steel fridge. It's awesome inside though, it reminds me of a classier mustang
my mom has a 2013 flex
boxy styles...but this "boxy"looks like a van inside....I think they missed the concept.
this is a van with open doors,
It looks like a van.
Can't pay attention to a reviewer wearing reflective sunglasses. Sorry

I like your reviews, but you either need to invest in a tripod, or stop wearing mirror sunglasses.
