    This is by far the most helpful and informative video I've seen about the Bittle. Many thanks!

    i love this educational content, its what im looking for im in college pursing a bachelors in the discipline of computer science and i have a desire to have a concentration in machine learning engineering in the domain of autonomous and robotic systems.

    Thanks your video is what I was looking for. I am an AI architect that's my day job. Always wanted to link that expertise up with a Robotic platform. Used ROS In college for projects , now this seems like a good platform to play with for my integration purposes.

    Hello sir, your are a good guide & inspiration for people interested in robotics,
    It would be very helpful if you can share your journey of education(how did you get here, how was your approach and how did u apply, your earnings, savings, cost of education), internships, job etc..

      Noted. Learning Journey was and still not linear in any sense. It was full on 360.
      That’s what I plan to share in here and I will in the meantime I try and post snippets of it on Instagram due to ease of posting because making a UA-cam video sometimes gets deprioritised due to studies and projects.
      Feel free to drop any specific questions in here you want answer form.

    Hey! great content.
    It's definitely daunting coming into robotics and feeling incredibly overwhelmed. I bought the Petoi Bittle and have used the mobile app for control but would like to learn how to program this for myself from scratch. Can this be programmed using Python or is it only Arduino that I can use? Sorry for the silly question I just feel a little lost!
    Thanks
    David

    Very good video. I feel like this isn’t more popular due to it being niche. I can’t think of anything else. I’m considering buying this bot to learn coding. I feel like it would be a good addition to a portfolio.

    Very new to this and I am building a different quadruped robot that I had found and 3d printed from thingiverse. Do you have any good recommendations on where to learn how to code the kinematic and inverse kinematics for the different gaits in arduino ide? I’m struggling to find anything on how to do so and so far the example codes I have found do not seem to come with really any good notes in the code to understand. Could just be me though. Haha. But I feel like I have the math solved but no understanding on how to write the code for it just to stand even. Also could the arduino code you showed be used to calibrate a different one like mine or is it tailored to the one from your video? I have everything else working that I’m using in the robot itself and am down to the last part which is the legs and the accelerometer/gyro.

    The instruction was hiding under the box lid, but you're actually supposed to calibrate (zero) all the servos before you put the legs on. You shouldn't have that one leg way up in the air if you did that right? Most of the time when it's off by that much, the arm is mounted wrong on the top, you just need to rotate the arm, not set an offset. If your offsets are too large, you'll lose range of motion in one direction.

    • @LetsTalkWithRobots
      @LetsTalkWithRobots  Рік тому +1

      True but setting offset did not work .The thing is that there was a physical damage to the servo motor and it was drawing excess amps from PS and main controller was heating up.
      In short I had to replace it.

    I had a question, did you do your bachelors from India and then went to UK for Masters?

    • @LetsTalkWithRobots
      @LetsTalkWithRobots  Рік тому

      Yes that’s correct. I came to UK for Masters in Advanced robotics and AI.

      @@LetsTalkWithRobots where did you completed your bachelors from India? And I am an enthusiast in Mechatronics, AI and Robotics and Human Interaction, but there's no such institutions in India providing these programs. And Does Institution Matter or self Learning?

      @@polxania Robotics is still a new field and constantly evolving. It will take time for universities to catch up with this fast-paced tech world. I never waited for college to teach me what I wanted to learn. I started learning robotics on my own when I was 14. Participated in competitions and then later went for Electronics & CS degree so that I could apply for MSc in Advanced Robotics in countries like USA or UK where robotics courses are available. In my experience, I realised that universities struggle to teach real-world education. Universities struggle because the tech world is evolving so fast that it's difficult to keep up. I would say just pick what's available and keep doing self-learning. Internet has literally tons of free and quality stuff which you can use to do robotics projects and learning.

    Are you using mac at the end of this video?

    • @LetsTalkWithRobots
      @LetsTalkWithRobots  Рік тому +1

      Ya I had to test the robots software compatibility with newer MacBooks with M1 along side with Linux Ubuntu and windows.
      But in my day to day life I use only Linux with Ubuntu kernel.

    • @keshawnsmith320
      @keshawnsmith320 Рік тому

      @@LetsTalkWithRobots what version of Ubuntu kernel are you currently using? I am moments away from using 23.04 as my daily driver and the 18.04 LTS for my robotics development

    • @LetsTalkWithRobots
      @LetsTalkWithRobots  Рік тому +1

      @@keshawnsmith320 My primary kernel is 20.04 LTS but I need to use 16.04 and 18.04 also in VM’s as a part of checking software compatibility tests .
      I don’t usually go for newest one because It’s not necessary and even though new Kernels are launched , it takes time for other dependencies to catchup especially in robotics.

    • @keshawnsmith320
      @keshawnsmith320 Рік тому

      @@LetsTalkWithRobots Do you use 20.04 LTS because that is the best kernel which works with Robotic applications or would it be fine for me to use 22.04 LTS and still run and work with ROS?

    Hi. I am mechanical engineering student
    I love designing but i didnt have any skill in programming
    Would you like to recommend me any website/course to program robot from basic? I really hope that the course is focus on project based not a general mathematical equation
    Do I have to use arduino or something?
    Thank you so much

      I personally learned a lot from this courses when I first started. I think this course will give you really good hands on experience. It’s free if you just Audit the course.
