- Unboxing, setting up, and reviewing the WEN 6502T sanding station. With this tool the curves, arches, and edges don't stand a chance. There's very little vibration while using the unit, the power of the machine with create sawdust but the bucket! The onboard Dusty collection works great when connected to my Ridgid shop vac! Purchased through Amazon.com I can give this tool two thumbs up!

I own this model, and after a month, I have discovered the motor get clogged with dust because it's not a sealed motor. It starts to turn hard and shuts off. I have remove bottom cover and vacuum it out and turn it manually to get it to turn on again. Not a good design since using the 6 inch disc causes the majority of the dust to infiltrate the motor. FYI Buy at your own risk...
Heading out to buy one now actually. Same tool but under a different brand name. Had one before and it lasted for years.

I know this video is a year old but was thinking the same thing with the Belt Sander. Can you share which table you bought? would much appreciate it.
you need is a Wen drill press now .I have all of them.love them i forgot i have a Wen spindle sander also,but i big floor model band saw is Craftsman
I do need one at some point. I have an old Delta BOSS spindle sander, I need to get it cleaned up and then order some new sanding spindles.

Bought additional sand paper set from Amazon. Tested the 400grit and paper seems loose. I’m sanding glass bottles. The glass jumps and bumps. Paper is tight and balanced. I wonder if it is thinner paper causing this. Disappointing as I need to use grit up to 1000. Any ideas will be appreciated.
Does it come with extra sand paper?
No I bought some from Amazon when I bought it.

Soft metal like aluminum I think would be ok? It’s a little beast of a machine, I have wanted one forever. Once I got back into building along with the price I had to have one.

Can the loud crap music, it BLASTS when it starts and always requires a volume reduction. Still don't understand why folks think this is so cool!!!
