- Dmitri's ASMR Tool Time - Toy Repair. Something different and fun for me, i like to do things myself. I guess it like a feeling of an accomplishment but i also understand "sometimes" when something is beyond me, i seem to have a little trouble sometimes when i bit off more than i can chew.... Anyway this is not one of those time, i thought you might like me mucking around fixing a toy motorcycle for my Son. ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

Sounds : Crinkle, Tapping, Scratching & multi layering of different sounds together
Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours.
As with all my video, my intentions is always to provide you a little home away from home, where you can kick back relax and always find a new and unique experience as i guide you with sights & sound to a relaxing location where my objective is to let you feel gentle waves of relaxation & ASMR until you close your eye to fall into a peaceful sleep.

Although the drill sounds never gave me ASMR they did remind me of being a kid, my dad was big into DIY and building things so it was a sound I was used to hearing

I always had this sensation when i was a child in grade school and they would do survey testing for hearing, coordination, etc..and i never knew what it was...that is until i came across your videos..i never knew ASMR was a thing and thank you for being so professional about it!

I think myself, I like to fix things too much, too.
I worked on my car with 220,000 miles (runs nice, clean interior, 2003 year) and did a clutch replacement. So many times, my Mom wanted me to take it to the garage because I had so many problems with rust, cold weather (was Jan 2014), lack of tools, not having easy access to underneath, etc.
I kept persisting that I could do it -- and I did! It took a month because I was learning, too.

I'm still looking for one with mostly hand movements, I feel very relaxed by them.

Dmitri, Bosch GSB Li-Ion tools have chuck capacity from 1.5-13mm so you cannot put 1mm drill bit in it :D .

Don't think I've ever heard someone describe a screwdriver in such detail before. I used to have a Snap-On ratchet screwdriver that I felt the same way about, but I left it laying around somewhere! :(

actually that screwdriver is heavyduty tool, because you can use it on powered electrical equipment up till 1000volts without you striked down or melt screwdriver down..
Please do more of these, I love them! Just maybe cut down on the drilling. :)

***** can you please do your next handyman video on applying mineral oil to the wooden bowl in the last video. I'm a handyman my self and I really want to see how it will look after you apply mineral oil. Oh and after you apply the oil let it dry for a day before you eat out of it so the colors the oil give it will stay.
