@@dayangmasudi Don't worry. You didn't say anything disrespectful. This person is just being sensitive for some reason. Kg has been stable throughout the whole show. And she's also been singing professionally for a while before A2k. And we don't know what more she might be capable of.
They are both amazing singers, just different styles. So many kpop stans get so offended when people say their favorite idol is similar to another idol. It makes no sense.
Kg shut the haters up with this performance. 😭 so stable and girl showed out with the dancing. Her team deserved first place imo. The vocals for the song were definitely most challenging out of all groups and they were all so stable/hit every beat and note!

This episode confirmed what I've been saying.
There's no favoritism from JYP at all. People keep crying about Kendall this Kendall that and says she's not being treated like others.
And yet what happens ? She's 7th and without a stone. He likes her more and isn't afraid of showing it but he doesn't treat her differently, she gets criticism like others, just because we're seeing a 20 second positive feedback from JYP doesn't mean that he didn't say more.

@@darien4969 disagree, what Kendall lacked in vocal, Lexus lacked in dance and Kendall had to sing almost half the song by herself. It's pretty even I'd say but Kendall was the only one who was comfortable on stage.
Initially I thought there is no way KG's group would out perform Camila's. However once I saw the performance I thought KG's group would win. The bond between the girls felt more real than Camila's. I felt Camila and Cristina were tight and Gina was the 3rd wheel. KG's team felt more like a real k pop group. I thought KG did very well. She didn't look out of place either.
RIGHT. I loved KGs team performance! I was pretty certain they would place first! I'm curious who won't be making the debut.
That SP3KTRUM performance as absolutely amazing, and I think they edged out Back Dawgz' also excellent performance just because the SP3KTRUM had more doubts that needed to be quelled. (The overall ranking also looks pretty much based on the criterion of "improvement" rather than objective "goodness.)
While I think KG kept up with the dance well, I do feel like she was having some trouble breathing or keeping her singing up with the pace of the song. Regardless, a great showing from her.
Savanna continues to have great stage presence and facials.

Soon as I saw KG and saw she could sing I figured she would be in the group!
KG shed her solo star style and became a group member. This is also first time she looks her age. All 3 are close in age, but she always acted more mature. That song was kinda adult for them. They still did a great job performance.
I think he will decide the number after he see the final performance. At LA boot camp I thought 7. Now I think maybe 6 or 5. It will depend how Kendal bounce back with confidence. How Lexus and Cristina improve vocals. How KG improve dance.
I wonder if JYP will have original songs for A2K finale.

Yuna's a beautiful girl and definitely has the talent. It seemed like her confidence was affected throughout this whole process, and I think that was more the underlying issue than her need for additional training (which she still needed). Hopefully she's bounced back since then. Mischa seems to have rebounded pretty well. She just posted a short on her channel of her dancing "Cake," so it doesn't look like she's stopping anytime soon.
Oh I’m so happy to hear that about Mischa!! Hopefully she’ll have her debut soon! I can see how Yuna was affected throughout all this. Hopefully she doesn’t give up either!

If u look carefully in the preview, you can see some are crying in front of the screen waiting to be selected and some are at the front stage. So I assume people at the front stage surely debut.

for the first time, every ranking spot is exactly the same as I felt is correct. I thought there’s no way anyone can beat BackDawgs, but after seeing S3cptrum oh Wow it’s nuts.
Very sad about Yuna I really wished she could stay but I also expected it.
The top 3 from peer ranking is also my top 3 bias, and if I have to choose a bias of the whole group, it’s actually Gina. It’s been Lexus or Camille throughout for me. Gina took soooo long to warm up but she really come through now with not just talent but personality.
And actually, I feel from the preview that Kendall is the one leaving in the finals. It will also make sense to me too.
Also I have a feeling she got last place for peer review, and not the first time, and that contributed to her being removed too. Because this will be a big signal that she can’t be in this team. And teamwork is still the most important factor they are looking for.
I agree. In both team missions where Kendall was the leader, her group performed the worst and the team didn't feel in sync as the other teams. I feel like she doesn't build good team dynamics as the leader. Yuna/Lexus did perform really well in the 1st team mission when they were with Gina/Melissa, and Kaylee/Savanna performed really well in the 2nd team mission when they had KG as the team leader.

Kendal is more like atleast i can sing n dance so dts all matters rather than bringing the group together and fixing the weakness she just let it go😂and make sure she shine not the group

I think he wants Camilla as a leader, and he has some plans for KG musically, and Kendall has strong niche appeal.
Maybe one of the middle pack: Christina, Lexi, or Savanna (based on social media rumours, looks like Christina)
And one of the babies: Gina or Kaylee (I think Gina could easily be dropped here, but JYP doesn't lose out because he can send her to do another Korean survival or normal debut)

The pregnant pause while Yuna composed her thoughts. I dunno about you, but for me, it seemed like it went on endlessly. I"m more upset that it sounds like Yuna didn't have strong friendships before than with her elimination. That's super sad to hear.
Much less upsetting, but upsetting nonetheless, is that the girls finally got their big recreational day, but it wasn't for everyone. It's so funny that even though she's not there in person, somehow the food scene still involves Cristina
LOL yessss I love that she got brought up with the food! I felt so bad that they even asked her to speak actually. I can't imagine trying to find words especially when youre trying so hard not to cry.. I feel for her.
Like you, I also enjoyed Sp3ktrum's performance. All three of them were so exceptional, I rewatched their dance 2 more times then watched your reaction video. Kaylee came a long way in singing, from the time she messed up singing Hello then breaking down. KG unlocking better dancing skills and Savanna unlocking better singing skills were proud moments to finally see. I wasn't familiar with the song but once I learned its name, I decided to try listening to the original version a few times first, for better comparison, then continued watching ep 20. KG's long high run at the end of the bridge actually is part of the song, and she did it just right without messing up, if not better. Overall I liked the parts of the song where the 3 girls did some harmonizing, which is quite rare to hear in this series.

As for ranking then elimination, I could see it in Yuna's face throughout the sequence that she felt the end was inevitable for her, like the Grim Reaper was slowly approaching her from really far away, and she couldn't do anything but bear the long, grueling wait. I do like the sensitivity and support everyone gave her, as you pointed out. Yuna's farewell speech showed that despite not going that far in her dream, she still made priceless friends along the way.

As for the amusement park reward, I liked how Gina was just Gina-ing away in the dawg ears. 😆 Finally, for the 2 ep finalé, I'm thinking it could be the first ep is to showcase the two teams, rank them, and award stones. Then the second ep is for reviewing the sticker books for the attitude evaluation, followed by awarding stones, followed by the final staff discussion on whether extra stones should be given, presenting final stones, congratulating the debuting finalists, and maybe a sneak peek of what they'll do next (first original song?). So timewise, I think there would be enough material to spread out that way in two episodes.
KGs team did great. It was so nice seeing their growth! I felt so bad for Yuna but yeah.. did seem like she was the one going to be let go since the beginning. Ginas bark is soo good. LOL. It would be cool if they had a quest performance like in Nizi Project Season 1!

The more I think about it, Christina ranking 2nd doesn't make sense to me. If going by purely skills, Camila and Gina are more well rounded. And if going by improvement, I feel that KG and Savannah have grown quite a lot in their respective weaknesses. Putting both together I still can't see how Christina should be 2nd. Obviously we aren't shown everything so there could be things during the practice and the training by the trainers that made the JYP team think that, but personally I don't get it. But in the end, as long as they aren't eliminated, the rankings in the grand scheme of things don't really matter anyway...

Well you have to know when they debut JYP prefer odd numbers , easier to do the dance choreography and it looks nicer too 😊 .
I know he likes odd numbers and theres 9 of them so it would of been cool to see them all make it BUT I know that was never likely going to happen. But now theres 8 so one more has to go too :(
Going back a few years, on Sixteen the members were shown hugging and crying with the eliminated members, usually backstage.
From what I've heard that was sooooooooo harsh I doubt Ill be able to watch it lol
@@SerenityReacts it was harsh, but I think JYP said things that needed to be said. In the end, he came up with a pretty darn amazing group!! I've watched Sixteen numerous times, and have tears at the same spots every time. But it really gives me a great deal of respect to them for what the members had to go through. TWICE has become my ult group.

I hope the next episode has the 2 groups perform and the last episode pick the members with some kind of reveal. If this show follows the others we may hear their first song as a group.
All 8 of them deserves to debut c'mon now. I think we already knew who's not gonna make it into the debut team but I wonder what happened at the final stage that she suddenly glowed down though she has been doing so well.

Objectively she really is not as good as the rest overall, and she has bulldozed through so far with a large dose of JYP favoritism. This is no secret by now.
And I remember she got last for the peer ranking in LA, and this time she is at the bottom few too. Not surprised if she is last again there too. a big signal that she could bring trouble to the group, and a significant consideration for the management.

JYP included the right 6 people in the top 6 (though I disagree with the order), but I'm still surprised that he didn't include Kendall. Also, I feel like him only giving 6 stones means he wants 6 in the group, because why else did he not give her a stone when he said her performance was great, but we shall see.

This might be there only chance to be known in this profession because you never know anyway ,the other 2 i already forgotten about them but KG has wrecked me the first time last episode she is really talented i know she wants to be a pop,country,or rock n roll soloist but she is a pop star in a pop group with a k-pop training if she gets chosen which they should practicing vocals will not be a problem with her practing dancing everyday i don't know whether she knows this is the best thing that can happen to her all 8 are stars including her

I think it's either Cristina, Kendall or Lexi who will be eliminated, or her performance was catastrophic during the performance, for example forgetting her part, or her attitude didn't please the trainers and staff... I leans more towards Cristina according to the rumors and their faces during the preview of ep 22, but it's surprising all the same, she is 2nd in the 2nd evaluation, so I guess something bad happened?? ?or she opened her Instagram account in Korea despite the ban and which earned her an exclusion???so she couldn't get the last stone, I don't know, I'm speculating...
Will there be another elimination during episode 22, I hope not!
Oh there’s definitely an elimination. By the tears alone and shock on their faces I’m trying to figure out if it’s more than one elimination or not. Only a few more hours and we will find out!
If you slow down the preview, you'll see the girls wearing different outfits. Kendall, Christina, KG, and Kaylee are in one group. Camila, Savannah, Gina and Lexi are in the other. It looks like each group will perform two songs based on the outfit changes, so they might have show two performances for each episode. But we'll see!
Just wanted to say I enjoy your videos and commentary. I've started watching your NiziU videos. I'm still athe beginning so I've yet to see JYPs criticism of the girls 😅

So I'm really worried that KG is not shown in the previews, she would have been in the Kaylee, Kendal and Cristina team.
In one of the shots you can see her hair in the frame, I wouldn't worry about it too much, could just be a coincidence
I went into this episode thinking that Back Dawgz was a lock for #1. But at some point toward the end of SP3KTRUM's performance I got this sense that they'd take it instead. It felt just a bit more inspired. Lexus looked the most unhappy, even more than Yuna, so it's probably good that she got to go to the amusement park lol. As for Yuna, she looked as if she knew she was going to get cut and was already accepting her fate. It was also surprising to see Kendall winning absolutely nothing in this episode. As for the last two episodes, who knows what exactly is in store? I'm wondering if Lexus is the one who gets cut.
Lexus has crossed my mind but I really hope not. I’m guessing they only cut one person and there will be 7 of them. And I’d course with everyone talking about Christina being on social media my mind has been going crazy trying to figure out and put all the pieces together LOL.
@motherserenity so not to over-analyze but I'm watching the reactions in the preview and two in particular stood out. Lexus' stunned reaction almost says to me that she gets in. KG's reaction, though, has me kinda worried. It could be that of someone who's going on to debut, but we also see this same reaction from those who receive devastating news. Man, I just can't imagine her not being a part of this group. Well at least we won't have to wait until next week to find out lol.

ACTUALLY i think i changed my mind.
This is not popular opinion. And shocking it seems.
But think it is Christina who is out. And not Lexus or Kendall.
also, from shows like NIZI, we know that ranking high on the late stages do not affect the final debut decision. JYP could have given them out as consolation too.
And of the group, actually with Camila and Gina and even Savanna around, Christina is actually quite dispensable. If purely for dance, JYP will choose Lexus over her too.
And, she ranked low for peer / attitude review which i feel is important to JYP. Lexus on the other hand has proven repeatedly to be a team player. So if only one Momo type girl-crush/dance machine/ so so vocal member is allowed, then it has to be Lexus.
So if i put myself into JYP shoes, is christina good and improved? yes she is. Will the group be lacking in any performance aspect if without her? Dance, Vocal, and lets be honest, racial representation, actually no they will not lack. And that attitude thing i mentioned earlier.
ALSO, looking at the last frame with all of their crying, Lexus was super shocked and she turned, so she is not crying for herself.
Kendall's cry can go both ways, but i think out of the 2, Christina has a higher chance of leaving.
Camila looks dead coz i think Christina is one of her closer friends there.
And, most importantly, if you see Christina's face, it is possible that she is crying for herself looking down. I mean she hardly cries and the only time was when she looked at Yuna when she left and even so she was moving around. This time she just looked straight down.

이것은 모든 산업에서 하고있는 현지화전략이며 시장확장성이다
그런 측면에서 보면 미국의 주류음악 소비자는 멤버수가 많은그룹에 익숙하지않다
낯선음악에 멤버수까지 많으면 개인에 대한 주목도가 분산되고 결국 음악에대한 관심도 줄어든다
현지인 아티스트로 멤버를 구성하는건 낯선음악에 대한 거부감을 친숙한 외모,정서,문화를 가진 아티스트로 상쇄시키는 전략이다
예고편으로 보아 7인을 구성한거 같은데
아마도 2명을 더 탈락시키기엔 재능이 아까워서 힘들었을꺼같고 인종비율도 고려해야 했을것이다

춤,보컬,연기력 능력중에 가장 가르치기 힘든건 보컬과 연기력이다 춤은 평균적인 기억력과 근육이 성장하면 되지만 보컬은 평생살면서 사용한 소리(언어)에 영향을 받는다 개가 고양이소리를 내는것만큼 어려운일이다 그리고 연기력은 자아가 형성되는 유아기부터 성장환경 영향을 받기때문에 수년을 연습해도 한계극복이 불가능한경우가 많다

Its not that Yuna isn't talented. Reason is that the other girls are on another level or their personal growth exceeded that of Yuna's current talent. Sad seeing Yuna go. What Yuna brings to the table is her ability to make people smile. As heart breaking as it was it was good to see them showcase her laugh and smile on her way out.

Baed on the 2 team selection. I think they tried to even out based on the Strongest singer to the weakest. Team 1. KG, Kaylee Kendall and the weakest Cristina. Team 2. Camila, Gina, Savannah and the weakest Lexus. If its a 7 member group and Cristina rumor thing is true then you got your group. If its a 6 member group then Lexus and Cristina is out. If its a 5 member group then Cristina Lexus and Gina is out.
If your selection is right I see Team 2 dominating because Lexus isn't weak minus needing to work on facial expressions.
Revised: If its a 7 member group then Gina is the one thats out. 6 member group then add Cristina.
