Lexi was first because all the staff liked her. She always came in first with staff votes.
I'm guessing they thought she was going to be the easiest to train and she seems to help the group be cohesive/glue. She really supports everyone and wants everyone to succeed.
Lexi is incredibly entertaining. She walks into a room and she's immediately having the best time out of anyone there.
Lexus speech was also the most humbling one. She thanks everyone else even her members
I think the agency is tired of dealing with divas with egos/attitude so that’s why they stressed character as the most important aspect of making the group. Everyone can be talented or learn how to dance and sing, but kindness and humility cannot be taught. Go Lexus!!!
Yes, they experienced problems in the past due to talented artists having challenging characters, plus I'm sure they've seen other companies get in trouble for the same thing. Because of this they put a very heavy emphasis on character and honestly I think it's probably for the best. Just one problematic member can destroy the morale of a whole team. After debut it is also very difficult to get rid of anyone without massive backlash and public drama.
Still surprised to see Lexus take first place but I think they're trying to show how much they value character by making it a huge part of the final eval. Lexus did great at the final mission but performance wise I think she was middle of the pack.
JYP hasn't really had that kind of trouble. They really stress strength of character at their agency.
@@Niven42feel like this only happened with miss a. apparently the members didn't like suzy and how much attention she was getting before.

Looking back at Sixteen, it's important to remember that of the 7 that didn't debut in Twice, 6 went on to have successful Kpop careers. Somi, Natty and Minyoung are accomplished solo artists. Jiwon is in Fromis 9, Chaeryeong in Itzy, and her sister Chaeyeon was in IZ*ONE for 3 years and is a solo artist now.
This show has opened doors for all of these girls even if they didn't end up in Vcha.
Natty is now in a girl group called Kiss of Life !
Lexus first is great but a shock, but I can see that. Either Camila or Lexus really. Group as a whole good, but needs more training and time

Savanna is my bias, and it didn’t surprise me at all that she is #2 of Character rankings! :))))
In fact, the biggest problem when creating a KPOP girl group comprised of Westerners is that the KPOP system and Western concepts are different. The West tends to be more individualistic, but the KPOP system is more based on teamwork. So, when selecting members, in addition to ability, whether they can adapt well as a team member was reflected in a very large score.
Thus Lexus #1 and leader 🎉

Also, Gina has a single out called freedom. It’s really sweet and catchy. And possibly sassy towards JYP. But I do think she lacks a little emotion due to her age. She’s just a kid. She’ll get that depth. Soooo talented too.

I honestly thought gina was a for sure like they built the group around her and i was definitely surprised. Im thinking she didnt stand out enough even though she was good she didnt shine... but she is so young and has so much potential for a 13/14 yr old
JYP cares a lot about his idols being good human beings, more than any other agency I think.

I feel like i wasted time watching A2K. He was not going to put two black girls in the group. The comment the staff said "shes closest to what koreans want" told us all we needed to know.
Yea, savanna was the lightest too so it makes sense to y she was added. Christine definitely should've made the official line up but my guess is she was too black for them. It genuinely upsets me Kendall made it to the official line up, now they have to put in extra time to autotune her voice
@@domilyrics2218 Stop bashing Savanna. She did better than Christina, she really showed up these last few evalutions. Both are great dancers but Savanna's vocals and vocal tone are on a different level. I think christina got left out because they didn't need more dancers, they already had Lexus and Savanna. Lexus too is of a minority, Hmong, as you well know.
I was a bit unsure about Kendall but she received very good character evaluations from the beginning of the show until now and she also brings an unique talent to the team; her ability to convey emotions and being theatric. I'm sure it is her background in artistry and ability to express emotions and a story that got her the spot, not really her talent in singing and dance. I felt her vocals to be quite lacking compared to Gina. Christina's vocals were about the same level as Kendall, passable at best.

It wasn’t about race, I think they meant the stage presence and main dancer quality. She is a great dancer, even Sunmi and Gabee complimented her. And she’s mixed, she’s half Venezuelan and I forgot the other half.
@cheusingher8734 half black 🙄. If ur not black, u can't really say if it was about race or not. If we (black ppl) feel like it was about race, which is was then we're allowed to feel that way. Ik there were many talented black girls they could've chosen, but they chose the lightest ones wit straight hair. If u wanna ignore it cool idc just know ur part of the problem 🤷🏾♀️

I understand but i think they meant to decide based off of the responses throughout the journey of the girls. They were so shock just like everyone because JYP was making viewers believe she will continue to be at the bottom. But this is a happy turnout for her ❤
