Nice collection! Saw both your toolbox tours, very well paced video showing all tools. Unior makes some motorcycle specific tools, like magneto pullers and other tools. But motion pro covers it too.
Your videos are always great. The attention to detail you have in your organization is second to none. The way you have your stuff set up probably makes for efficient work. I like the variety of brands you use. I work on heavy equipment so I try to keep my stuff organized as possible. Wright makes great tools. That is what I have in my service truck. Very good and very reliable. I am starting to get into the Carlyle stuff. I was very brand loyal with Snap on. I had the same snap on guy for 12 years till he retired after 30 years. We have a new guy i haven't take a liken to yet. So I resort to different brands now. Seeing your reviews of different brands is great to see all the other great brands out there. Keep up the great videos and reviews.I watch all of your videos.
I had the same Snap Om guy for 13 years, he refused to replace a 12mm hex socket I broke by hand with a breaker bar. He accused me of using a pneumatic impact on it ( I never did) I told him to leave and never come back. Sold all my Snap On stuff and replaced it with Wright at first then filled in with other brands along the way. Thanks for commenting and I hope you have a happy holiday season!
Long time subscriber 1st time commenter .....On your suggestion I picked up a Carlyle 1/4 round head, I absolutely love it and what a bargain $12.99. I work on small engines. Ope you use a lot of 1/4 drive there as well. Also want to thank you for pointing me to Garnet tools have gotten good ideas from him as well. I use quality tools, but don't drink the snap on koolaid. My favorites are ....sk proto wright tool. Armstrong. Carlyle. I am a round head ratchet fan as well. Thanks for the continued tours and suggestions..... Merry Christmas
I've never made a "career" out of fixing or racing motorcycles. I fix them as a side gig and always just raced for fun. My racing days are long over as I advance in age. I've always had a real "day job" and did other things for extra money. I paid off my last mortgage 9 years ago so I can pick and choose just the stuff I want to work on today.
Thank you! Yes the pliers rack is from Amazon www.amazon.com/MLTOOLS-Pliers-Cutters-Organizer-Pro/dp/B016TU4P00/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1513777335&sr=8-10&keywords=plier+racks
How do you keep your tools in UNUSED looking condition? I take care of my tools but you can still see wear and tear on them.... Yours look like they were just purchased... Do you use them?
The tools in my main box are only used for motorcycle work. Now if you think about it motorcycles generally are not covered in rust, dirt, & grime and most people keep theirs pretty clean. I also always wear gloves (latex) and clean everything when finished before putting them back. I use Boeshield T9 clean and protect all my hand tools. If you watch this video here of me working on one of my own bikes you will see plenty of dirty tools laying around while in use. ua-cam.com/video/NkGMe_Mk6bM/v-deo.html
Lots of nice tools man but how many wreches and sockets can u actually use. I'm not hatin on u just wondering. Seems to be more of a passion to u then nessecity a bud. Happy holidays. Beautiful shop
I never worry about having only 1 10mm socket, if I lose or break something I always have another ready to go and I do break/lose stuff regularly and replace it at my convenience verses needing to stop work and replace it immediately.
Mark Fox I'll look into that one then. Been running across needing a sandblaster more and more lately. Guess there's that a new tool box and a 2nd welder on the books now
When I was looking for those wrenches they were no longer listed on the Carlyle website so I e-mailed them and asked why. They replied asking for my address and sent them to me for free.

Not much motorcycle business these days and I spend most of my free time working on my own bikes today.

Gotta add a set of Wera Hex L key's... Thanks for sharing Mark...
I've tried the Wera hex keys and I didn't care for them, my favorites are still the socket type.
How about a video and tell us about your career in motorcycle racing and wrenching? I'm interested in it for sure.

I could really use those Gearwrench ratchets just letting you know lol . I think I bought my last hf one.

Good job keep up the great
What kind of compressor do you have? 110 or 220? Will it run a sandblaster?
It's a Campbel Hausfeld 220v 60, I've never owned a sandblaster but it's rated for 13.5CFPM @ 90PSI
Mark Fox I'll look into that one then. Been running across needing a sandblaster more and more lately. Guess there's that a new tool box and a 2nd welder on the books now
I've owned mine about 14 years, not sure if they still make the same model but I bought it at Lowes
Nice tour mark fox _|_
Thank you!
Have you EVER actually used any one of those tools?? I clean my tools meticulously every use and you can tell I use them.
Every day, I work on motorcycles NOT old junk rusty cars.
What is your air compressor?
Campbell Hausfeld 60 Gal, don't know the specific part #, purchased from Lowes about 14 years ago
What did you ask Carlyle to get those bad boys for free?
When I was looking for those wrenches they were no longer listed on the Carlyle website so I e-mailed them and asked why. They replied asking for my address and sent them to me for free.
Lovin it
Thank you!
Hello mark...
If you like high quality tools, check out koken tools the are Japanese
Very familiar with the Koken tools, just wish they had better availability here in the states.
Yea I guess it would be.. very big in newzealand
You have a different ratchet for every day of the month hahaha
Don't take it serious, that's just me being envious cause I only have one of each 😢
I'm definitely a fan of many ratchet brands, styles, & types.
