The Smoke Fairy (1909) J. Stuart Blackton

In this early silent film a man falls asleep and is visited by fairies. They interact with his pipe and tobacco products. This is one of the first instances of product placement for tobacco in film. It was directed by J. Stuart Blackton and released in 1909.
