I love that y'all walk together as a family. Walking is the best exercise!! Kristen looks aaaamaaaazing!! Her belly is shrinking at warp speed!! I creep around my neighborhood all of the time looking for landscaping ideas. I think people appreciate that others stop and admire the hard work they have done to their homes. Also, Chell is a champ at holding her little neck up!! So proud of her!!!

Oh my gosh Chell on the outro was so sweet. I loved it!
Kristen, you changed your shirt on the outing? You look great in both, but I love the teal one the best!
Me & my hubby are total creepers almost every weekend we go out looking at houses, neighborhoods, & property. We are in the process of selling our home and buying something bigger, because we out-grew our house with 3 little girls... I love getting ideas from other places & then twisting them a bit with my own flare. We also love driving through mountains to see all the beautiful fall colors. I absolutely love railroad ties with canyon rocks for flower garden curbing, and then low ground cover with wild flowers popping up in every color... It's very rustic looking!
So glad you got new neighbors with little girls... Have fun with the bbq. Hope we get to meet them too!?

I'm so glad you all found a family close by to be friends with. We became good friends with our neighbors about 3 years ago and it has been such a blessing. Our youngest daughters are only 5 months apart and are best friends now. She told me once that being from a different state and not having loved ones close by was tough. She said the friendships she has made here mean so much. I really hope you find that in Alaska too cause you all are a great family.

My fiancée and I always look at other people's houses. See how they decorate , etc.
Every Sunday we do laundry across town, because our washer broke. And there's beautiful Victorian houses, weird condos. So much! It's fun to walk the dogs and chat about plants and houses. :)

Driving and looking at houses is totally normal! My boyfriend and I have been doing it for the last three years. It opens up conversations about the future. It's peaceful to drive around and imagine that someday we will have a house, a marriage, and a family. We also love watching your videos because they are another conversation starter. On life, love, family, and fun.

Yes my husband an I do the same thing y'all do matter of fact we did it yesterday that's always been one of my favorite things to do! One memory of my childhood was coming in Sunday after church and changing clothes an getting in the car with my Mom n Dad and riding the back roads of my little home town. It's a great way to learn where every thing is also!! Love You Guys!!

Yes. My boyfriend and I drive around all the neighborhoods we like and check out all the different landscapes. We live in Northern California and we use only California native plants. This way it keeps things natural. The native plant society has a garden tour once a year and some gardens use al natives some are a combo of natives but it's a great way to see what other people have done, not just in their front yards but backyards too. Does Alaska have a native plant society or group? Do they do a garden tour? I'm sure there are some beautiful yards there. 😊

Not weird at all Cory and Kristen! When I was in college (Western PA small town) all of the faculty had their addresses listed in the annual college directory. My friend and I actually drive around on several Sunday to see where several of our professors lived. When you have your neighbors over for the barbecue, invite both of your next door neighbors, and the people on either side of your across-the-street neighbors too! It will be your first block party, and as the years go by, you can invite more people and make it a neighborhood tradition. That was always the highlight of my childhood.

Haha I think it's totally normal to check out other people's houses/landscaping, especially in a newish house/marriage situation. Dude, I love it that you are demonstrative with your beloved wife, that you actually tell her she is beautiful, and defer to her care and needs. How could a loving husband not do these things? And yet, for many men, many months will go by without so much as a basic compliment, and without them caring for their wife's needs. Not to sound silly, but I am so proud of you and your heart, for being the loving man that you are, and for being demonstrative of this with your family. Praise to you.

Love, love, love old houses and old barns so I'm a "creeper" too. On a recent visit to Mississippi to tour William Faulkner's house (a graduation--at age 50--gift) we drove all over the surrounding neighborhood looking at the old houses. When I was growing up, my mom occasionally used to put us in the car drive over to the rich side of Houston, TX to gawk at the rich people's houses. It didn't occur to me at the time that the people who lived in them might not enjoy being stared at.

I was wondering over the past few weeks if you had other friends but thought you must as you seem very friendly and outgoing and they just weren't part of any videos because they didn't want to be. Glad to hear you now have some new friends.

I always check out other peoples homes! I feel like you learn a lot from other homes and kinda get an idea of what you want!

That is awesome that you met new neighbors and they are your age. All my neighbors are either my parents age or like 10-15 years older than us. Just an odd age gap. Plus I'm antisocial right now with first trimester sickness.

I like to people watch as weird as that may sound. If I'm sitting on my front steps I often think about the people walking, or driving by, or I see the houses lit up towards the evening and I find it pretty soothing and sometimes inspirational to think about how they might live, what kind of routine they may have, family ect ect.

Totally normal for people to go around looking at other peoples houses. There are several in my city that I just love including Bing Crosby's old house. I also drive around looking for neat streets to drive on. One of my Favorites is just down the block from me and last for a good 8 to 10 blocks. It is shaded by Maple trees and the color in the Summer in Fall are fantastic. I would love to work up the nerve to drop off short notes or greeting cards to people just to let them know that I love their house and how well they keep it up. Don't know if that is super creepy or just very nice of me to want to do but when we painted our house we received several comments from folks driving by that they loved the new color it made me feel good. In the winter it is fun going around and checking out the Christmas decorations around town too. So you guys are totally normal. :)

I ride the bus to campus every morning (Go Cougs!), and periodically I'll get off and look at houses and neighborhoods! I love peeking at houses and getting inspiration

My creeper activity: going to open houses! I don't think checking out landscaping is weird at all :D I think it's a great way to get ideas!!

Love Chell's little voice in the outro - meant to say that in the last one! and the ending with her falling asleep :) Btw - yes we've always played that sort of game. We say how we would have that house differently etc. It all gives you good ideas for your home :)
