This man is awesome and a great inspiration. The video itself reminds me of my participation in 1966. I almost forgot this - so long ago. I anchored our 4x 200.
Great job sir! Bet your family is proud!!
Wow! Amazing!
Go Shore AC... my former track club!!
I love how the medics are bringing the stretcher out to the track before the race even began
This guy is amazing.. love it.. he was flying and looked faster than 13.47 too!!👍👍💯🎯
Yup, I'm 61 and life has never been better after I started fitness after a stroke a bit more than a year ago .. releasing music and lifting iron 🙂
The First Responder lights are already on before the race even starts haha
Honestly I think we can run 10s at this age. If people never quit and trained for ever it’s possible 🤝
Maybe this guy started in his 40s
@@trinidadrodriquez876 Maybe not 10's but definitely mid to high twelves if in top physical shape. Your muscular mass does tend to take a hit past your 50's without some 'help'. If they weren't testing, maybe 11's.
@@charlessutherland5572 yeah. I know a 53 year old Hispanic that’s really fast but only at 40 yards. Maybe 4.65
So amazing 👏 glad they have 65 plus division RUNNING IS A LIFETIME LIFESTYLE 🙌 God made us strong 💪 🙏
These men are amazing. This goes to show you as long as you keep grinding you can still perform decent later in life.
Way to go Michael Kish ! I'm seventy and I've been sprinting and playing basketball most of my life, wow, you are just amazing !
I’m 31 and he faster then me😂
Lol he’s probably been sprinting his whole life, Don’t feel to bad
I don’t think the average non-athlete can run this time lol
@@ajollypanda4175 They cant. 13.47 is equal to13.2 hand-timed. Last year in my Swedish high school back in 1990, I'd say the average pretty fit guy did about 13.5-14.0. And people of alla ages are fatter now.
@@AthleticDesign that was 1990 but today i think that is still accurate. maybe though for the average male with a lean build who actually play competitive sports they can hit high 12s without training
@@joshuayangg I don't think so. Not without training. I have been a sprint coach for 25 years and the average soccer och handball players that I have trained don´t run below 13 s. the fastest ones go low 12 without training.
Now this is something that Usain Bolt needs to do beat when he reach 70
Awesome! This man is fit like a fiddle. He makes some teenagers look bad.🤔🤔🤔
Way to go Michael
The entrant board showes his age as 82!!!
There's a BIG difference between 70s and 80s
At around 75 the rate of decline is like stepping off a cliff. Until 75 or so the rate of decline is a gentle slope, then it steepens enormously!
Great performance, would like to see it age graded.
That has to be a world record!!!
Nope, far from it.
12.77 world record
@@pawleys45 yes. I posted that for information purposes only, but indoctrinated low life took it to mean hate.
Looks much younger than 70.
he's older at 83!!!
@Who Dat 72
13.47 at 82 years old is more impressive than Bolt's world record.
That's ridiculous.
82 might be his number, not sure, but even if he's 70, it's still more impressive than Bolt's time.
@@thepixalking6589 its not more impressive than the fastest 100m of all time. It’s impressive asf but no one has even come close to bolts 9.58.
@@thepixalking6589 no
No
Lol if it was more impressive then this man should've ran faster than 9.58 when he was Bolts age and should be in the record books right now. Him running that fast is impressive at 70 years old..but not as impressive as the world record. Ah hah!...U got me.. You're trolling..i knw u are..u got me..and shame on me tht i let you pull me into this comment. Kudos
His form is incredible not just for 70
But incredible for any age.
GOD BLESS 🇺🇸
hes 82
@@RealChuckNorris even more incredible
He's that fast at 82 years old? Mind blown 😳 😬
He puts most fat guys in their twenties to shame!!!
doesn't even have to be fat guys
Most skinny can't even run a 13.4
The average North American man in his 20s could only dream of running that quick
Fat guys? I don’t think the average non-athlete runs this time
Says he's 82.
What?!
Bib number
@@whosyourpappy3165 Well now that's just confusing. Why did Penn Relays make all their bib numbers realistic ages over 70 😂
