"Stupid remaster" it has no gameplay differences at all you know. The only issue with the remake outside of visual stuff is the desync and that's that.
@@charKT-7461 i believe you are reading too deep between the lines - while i criticized the collection for desync, i still really like that they made it at all as it allowed me to enjoy a great set of childhood memories (mostly) as i once did.
One of my all time favorite games as a kid growing up Man was she hard to beat with out lucky charms the other's were just fine to beat but guess they can't make all boss's fight's easy huh it was alright needed the challenge.
My muscle memory is with the music. My brain cannot do it without the music! Using this to cheat right now. I want to cry. This was my favorite fight. The only one when I was a kid my brother couldn't beat so I had to do it Edit: so when I lined this up with what Mz. Ruby says, the timing for sly is off. But if i have this one play slightly before Mz. Ruby moves in the ps3 version, then the timing lines up. I also have to pause to let the audio catch up with the game. So this whole fight is a mess. They really messed up my favorite boss in this game.
The biggest sin has to be that final triangle presses. I've gotten the audio to line up so well that I can make it there. But the game is either input delaying or what, but it's just not working. I can do this no problem on the ps2, I'm struggling with this remake
I used to _love_ this part! My family had a ps2, and used to play the original when we got it! Although I was still a kid, so a lot of that mission scared me, but I still got through the boss no problem! Rhythm was definitely my thing! The remastered collection, however, desync'd the boss. I was so sad about that, but that's about it. Once I got the rhythm, then it's just a _little_ easier after that - but still can't get over that desync. :
Since I grew up with the ps3 version, me and my brother had the hardest time getting through this level. The only reason why we saw the rest of the game is because I accidentally triggered a glitch that caused the fight to end early (and also bug out the cutscene camera$) like a week later after our first attempt
When youre playing ctr and on the sewer relic race and listenin to dis while at that last bit of the song and youre one second faster then the minimum and barely make it
Kevin Miller's voice was so amazing in the early 2000's, but by the time of Playstation All-stars Battle Royale and Sly Cooper 4 his voice just sounds so lame. Probably why they didn't have him voice act for the movie trailer. (Don't get me wrong, kevin miller still should always voice sly)
Square: Dig
Circle: That
Triangle: Voo
Cross: Doo
Dig That Voodoo. :D
That's all we needed, thx broo :)

Voodoo magic!
For circle then square I just hear pancakes
Probably the hardest part of my childhood
Yeah try to play it on ps3.
The easiest part of my childhood but the ps3 is the worst version
My childhood was the PS3 version, so you can imagine the immense confusion I was in.
bruh I thought the van races were just impossible
@Ugonna Ezenekwe you said it
I grew up with Jax and Daxter, Spyro, Crash banditcoot, ratchet and clank but Sly cooper was always the most nostalgic game for me.
Out of those Spyro & Crash are my #1 Favorite
Sly Cooper definitely had the most charm and personality out of those 3 aforementioned series!
@@JeffreyBarkdull those are 5 of mine favourite video games ever alongside kingdom hearts. Adding up to 6 overall. You know that one too?

I agree those are my favorite Games man

I remember how my sister perfected her gameplay and was able to play this whole boss fight blindfolded. This still makes me proud till this day
That's amazing she can do that I can probably do that too Mz Ruby is my favorite
easily the most coolest fight in the game!
But man, it's difficult
more sly games need this type of boss fight incorperated music, this is cool stuff
Dude right? This was really fun
This was the first game I ever had. This is BY FAR the HARDEST boss fight I've still ever played
Harder after the stupid remaster goofing it
You know it's kind of funny it took me five hundred tries on the PS2 version but only 50 on the PS3 version

@@dondemitri3760, yeah but calling the whole collection stupid because of a minor flaw is dumb.

My first videogame... Of a life of Video games 🥺❤
I was very excited when I learned how to do this part of the fight without looking when I was 10ish
Man, I can not describe how ANNOYINGLY HARD this battle was!!
nice dance bro. I am in hospital now.
what a bop
It is, if you are tough enough go dance with it.
i miss sly i grew up with the series
Would make a fair (if not pretty easy) Dance Dance Revolution song.
Exacly
I was thinking the same thing as a simple tutorial

I couldn’t agree more, I was so disappointed when I heard the Desync myself
They kinda returned this in Ghost of Tsushima. On slicing Bamboos.

Ah yes, nostalgia
This music was so scary when i was 7 years old!
:D
Wait, you're telling me that I wasn't the only kid covering his eyes in this part of the game to guess the pattern.
Having flashback to one of the challenging bosses when I was 10..... wait.... 10?!?!?.... sigh, now I feel old.
Still easier than racing in the van as Murray
Oh god yeah. I hated that shit. I'll play the Mz Ruby level 3 times in a row bf doing that race crap.
People saying this was the hardest parts of the game. Nah fam, the Rahlie treasure chest sub mission was the hard one
For me it was the chicken mission where you had to swat them away while simultaneously avoiding the roosters with the bombs chasing you.
@@Turboman-kx7cc That one also sucked
Hardest in the original. On ps3? This is hardest
It's on my top 10 of the best bosses in my gaming life.

Best villain in the series and one of the best in old time platforming
Heart started pounding as it got faster. I remember getting caught by the final X at the end once.

This mission was my favorite mission
thank you so much for this video its perfect
The only thing I was stressed about as a kid was getting though this boss
1:20 gotta love that part
Played this level very recently on the ps3 remaster. It's off rhythm just slightly though! So you can't rely completely on the audio :/
why is this even creepier than the basic game
i remember this
Still makes me sweat
😂😂😂How I heard it as a kid: Square: Jig Triangle: Boom Circle: Thaah X: Doom
I hope you've informed your parents about this and you were taken to a hospital before it's too late 😁
Then the remake didn’t sync up with the music 😱
wait, was this part hard or something i didn’t think it was that bad
Hardest boss fight in the cooper series by far
I always just spammed the buttons cause doing it precisely was so hard. Next time I play the game on ps2 I will do it precisely.
To me, those sound like
⬛=Take or dig
⭕=that
🔺=voo
❌=doo
You are deaf period. 😁
I hear the triangle as "Hoon" or "Hooh"
square as "Di"
And circle as "Thaaa"
How much do you guys wanna bet the PS5 vers will play the same once its out since the announcement.
It plays the same thankfully because it uses the PS2’s emulation and not the PS3 emulation
“Dig that dig that”😄. How stupid. The way you have to dodge is interesting
The ps3 input delay almost made me rage quit and I couldn’t use my ps4 controller I was boutta be done

too bad Sanzaru made this as impossible as possible from what i've heard
its just a small delay but still very doable not impossible like maybe a half second/millisecond delay
