Caleb Williams came down to earth without a running game and effective offensive line play. Practice hard, work hard, and play harder (love the grind). Do not rest until you win the National Championship. Grinch needs to find a starting unit on defense and get condition to play football in the fall.
I’m not sure I would say he came down to earth. He had some adversity but answered the bell incredibly well. Hardly had the ball in the 1st half and pretty much single handedly saved the game. I agree about Grinch.
@@JPandTrav Caleb Williams was such as effective as Spencer Rattler when he did not have the offensive line and the running game to support him in a complimentary fashion. All things work together for the good in football as well as in the Spirit. The running game open up Riley’s offense, it is as simple as that.
O-Line is worrisome right now. Obviously the defense is too (this has looked like a pre-Grinch defense at times). I have no idea what to make of this team right now
The D has saved us multiple x's this yr and the O has also! Need to get through this wk, sometimes playing for 9 straight wks can have its advantages&disadvantages! If we can get fully healthy on D, I believe things will change! Fist half of the szn ppl wanted to fire LR, it seems now that ppl wanna fire Grinch... OU just simply gets everybody's best wk n and wk out!!
Biggest thing we need to fix is quit giving up easy hitch routes on 3rd down. QB literally looks for which corner is giving the most cushion then throws it there for a easy first down. We've done that in every game which is why Kansas just followed the blueprint of what everyone else has done. Limit possessions, get in manageable 3rd down situations, hold the ball for as long as possible keeping our offense off the field.
I’ve been a sooner since Chuck Fairbanks was the head coach. Through the Switzer years. The tough times in the 90’s and the Stoops era and I have never seen us play this bad. I’m actually shocked we’re undefeated. Our record amazes me. If we don’t fix our issues within the next 2 weeks. We will be playing on some mid level bowl and once again hoping next year is better.
Caleb Superman Williams saved OUr ass again. He's amazing! We gotta get that defense figured out. I understand we have some guys out... but dammit!!! We have 55 players that are 4 stars or more. Surely somebody can play DB. I would expect our third-string secondary to be able to compete with Kansas better than that. We have to get some of these players back on D... otherwise Caleb Williams will have to win the exact same way that Kyler Murray did in 2018.

I think we have reached our ceiling. If we haven’t figured it out by now, we never will this season.
