2ND PLACE MARINCESS DECK PROFILE

This is my Marincess deck that got me second place at my locals tonight. Went 3-1 with 15 players and my only loss was in the finals.
R1: W 2-0 vs Infernity

Good deck profile. What were your matchups? I used to run talents and cynet and dropped them all for more consistency and extenders. I found talents was either dead, a luck draw for an extender or hand trap to stall, but being water locked meant i usually couldnt use my opponents monsters for links. And cynet always was ashed or drolled, at which point the game was mostly decided. I added in 3x icejade ran aegirine which has been absolutely amazing at breaking boards since you can get into a link 4 without using your normal summon, and keep your slug into heart with 3 equips of you get hit with nib. I also play 3 sea nettle for the toad/shifter defense line into kragen. I also added gymir to the extra, which really helps with the branded and fire matchups. They either have to waste 1-2 interruptions on it, or face a banishing boss which protects your plays. Had to take out splash mage, but haven't needed it yet with all the extra extenders. I am trying to find room for Kragen for the shifter play, but it means removing crystal heart, which is the going first game 2/3 play when you are likely to face a droplet, so your toad can remain live.

Matchups are in the description, but I think I agree with no cynet/talents honestly. Every time I had talents in hand another handtrap/boardbreaker instead would've been a better option. I definitely feel like I want to see Sea Nettle more often too so will probably test with a second in the main deck and maybe even add the Crystal Heart over Splash Mage. I haven't looked into any of the Icejade stuff but I'll definitely take a look! Thanks for the comment man, always appreciated.
