Two weeks ago, I went on a beautiful roads in Seogwipo, Jeju in collaboration with Jeju Tourism Organization. I'm very happy to finally show you these beautiful places. Jeju Island is the largest island in Korea and the place where the most people travel a year. Today, let's walk along Chilsimni Park, Seyeongyo Bridge, Lee Jungseob Street, Hwang Wooji coast, and Cheonjiyeon Falls in Seogwipo, Jeju Island. I highly recommend that your next destination is Jeju Island!

Daehyang painter Lee Jung-seop, considered by many to have been the genius painter of a time of misfortune, resided in Seogwipo-si and left behind many works based on Seogwipo’s beautiful landscape and generous hospitality, such as the Fantasy of Seogwipo. Though he only resided in Seogwipo for a brief period of time, the massive influence it had on him can be seen in his works of art. Seogwipo-si seeks to celebrate his great passion for creativity and undying artistry for future generations and provide both visitors and residents in the region with a chance to sympathize with his artistic traces.
At Cheonjiyeon Falls, white water falls from the rock cliff and make a thundering sound. It gets its name because it means “sky connected with land.” It is 22m high and 12m wide, and the view and the sound that the waters create when they fall is magnificent. Not only Elaeocarpus, which is designated as Natural Monument 163, but also a variety of temperate plants such as brambles, Psilotum nudum (L.) Griseb., Siebold's chinquapin, Shiny xylosma, and camellias grow in the valley near Cheonjiyeon Falls. It is also famous for the Natural Habitat for Giant Mottled Eels (Natural Monument 27), which are nocturnal.

After I crashed and burned in America I moved to Jeju to teach. I can honestly say that Jeju nature saved me and renewed my soul. Halla San is mysterious and powerful. The Buddah Cave at night...What I called God's swimming pool (in Seogwipo)...Azul Soda mentioned it is like a poem... I agree... a moving, nature poem.
Murica is a country on a decline. Let's not be fooled by western media outlets such as CNN & BBC!
I envy the Seoul Walker because this view at the end of the video is mind blowing, and I would imagine how peaceful it may have felt just being there in person.

I came back to watch this again. I appreciate all the people who contribute info about the places we are going. The community is a very nice one and It's nice hearing the voices of so many people. I follow the trail of comments and realize I miss things. A giant strung arrow on a bow . . . How could you miss that? Also the day to night transition, I missed that again, but I smiled afterwards. There is a historic link between Jeju-do island and the Dutch. In 1653 a dutch Merchantvessel got shipwrecked there. Captain Hendrik Hamel and his ship the Sperwer (Sparrowhawk in English') were the first westerners to set foot on Korean soil.
This was a wonderful walk. I really enjoyed walking in the Park (I could imagine the colours of the foliage in autumn) seeing the interesting stone structures spotted through the park. Good choice of music. I especially like the arrow structure. And the fact there are maps both in Korean and English.

And it is so very beautiful! This is one of my favorite ones! Jeju Island is so very beautiful! This place, and Yellow City are definitely 2 of my favorites. Thank you again for being here. Thank you for making these videos! And I really do feel very good vibes of when you said that large rock statues found on Jeju Island, considered to be God's offering both protection and fertility! YES!! That is SERIOUSLY VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL!! And I BELIEVE IT! I DO! Thank you!
P.S. I'm actually lucky enough to have a crepe myrtle tree in our backyard, here at home!😊 Crepe myrtle trees are those little trees early in this video, with the pink little flowers on them, and with the lavender flowers on them! Well We have one of the pink-flowered ones here in my backyard and I've always had a special bond with that tree!🌿
And I could've sworn that I saw a mermaid swimming in the water at Cheonjiyeon Falls!😊🍂💦

Used to be a paradise now it's nothing but bumper-to-bumper traffic. Mostly rental cars.

제주도에 진짜 아름다운 곳들이 많습니다. 천지연 폭포도 탑3안에 들만한 곳이죠.
근데 저 썸네일 우측 아래에 납작한 바위 조심하세요 ㅠㅠ 야간에 천지연 폭포가서 감탄하면서 찍다가 저 바위에 걸려서 넘어졌는데 정강이를 정통으로 부딫혀서
퉁퉁 부었습니다. 그때 조명이 제대로 안들어왔던 타이밍이라 잘 안보였었네요. 살이 별로 없는 부위라 피가 잘 안빠져나가서 없애려면 살을 째야될수도 있다고 했는데 운좋게도
3주 후 괜찮아졌습니다. 괜찮아진지 오래됐는데도 아직 흔적이 남아있네요.
어릴적 살았던 내집이 보이네요 왜 눈뮬이 날까요
추억을 간직한 곳이 참 좋은 장소시군요~
