Tky, this was my 1st J.R. Ellis book and I enjoyed it immensely. The narration was great (loved the accents). I'm going to download another straight away.
My grandparents were from the Dales. It was such a pleasure to hear the names of the villages from which they came. I kept imaging my grandmother as an 18 year old in Pateley Bridge. 🇨🇦
i like the series but the whole story relies on a fantastic coincidence that just isnt credible. Bringing 3 targets to the same remote village through coincidence, its too much
I am enjoying the books, but the narrator really struggles with the Yorkshire accent and pronunciation. As a Yorkshire woman, it is jarring to my ears.
This narrator is so perfect for these stories!
I am extremely grateful to you for posting this series of books for free it gets me through the working day as it’s so easy to listen to .Thank you .
Can’t decide if it is the reader or the tell that keeps me coming back 😊
Thank you for these. Chance to listen more classics. Please don’t quit

Thank you so much for this. It is a marvellous listen, and the accents, and voices, are superb

Your narration is a pleasure on the ears. An expat in Florida.
Lovely, thank you!
Thanks 🎉
Thanks again.
Thank you ❤
Thanks 😊
Love these books but an ad every 5 minutes takes away the enjoyment....
Don't bother riddled with adverts.
I do have to say that the characters voices are too similar so glad when it's specified to a certain speaker
Really enjoying this story but don't know if I can stick with.Having to stop what I.m doing every two minutes is spoiling the book.
I read the title wrong.... thought it said something else 😭

Love the story, but commercial after commercial. Money for nothing and nothing for money.

Why so many ads? It's disruptive.
Way too many ads. No ad free option available?

Commercial interruption means I stop listening and move on.😢
1hr 15min

5 advertisements in 21 minutes. Im out of here.
Your views on Christianity do not please me very much. Must find another author.

Too Many add, NEXT 😢
Xzzz
Stick to mystery terrible at Theology
After listening for 9+ hours the ending is cut off! Where do I find the ENDING?
This is the complete story. Ending is included.
*Contains cussing* for those that would like to know, like I would have.
I see you posting this on several book comments. Maybe you could switch genres. It would be safer for you.
Narrator doesn’t do these stories justice. It’s not Shakespeare for goodness sake!
Very clipped voice.
Hard to listen to this really harsh voice
