I love these stories and Simon Brett reads them so well. 🎉My only criticism (nothing to do with the stories nor the reader) is the ads broadcast at annoyingly frequent intervals, for things anyone in their right mind would be crazy to buy. TV is even worse with less and less viewable material and more and more ads (eg, 24+ mins of ads in a supposedly 60 min programme!) 😊
Every character he ever describes has blue eyes. I've never met anyone with blue eyes. They're very rare. Grey, green, hazel, brown. Yes everyone I've ever met. Blue. I can't think of anyone I've met or worked with that has blue eyes. So why do ALL his characters have them?? 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
With reference to confidential things that may be illegal confided to her by her clients.... professional therapists have a code of ethics where they tell their clients that anything they say to them is in confidence but that there are limits to this. These limits are they should a client divulge anything relating to illegal activities, child safety issues or issues involving harm to themselves or others, the therapist is duty bound to break that confidence. They tell all of this upfront so that clients can decide how much to share. Some decide to share the information anyway, others don't but at least they know the consequences. That's what *professional* therapists do. This is another case of the author not doing adequate research about this.
A great plot, wonderfully narrated, as is par for the Fethering Mysteries. But murder with a bot knife? Try again, Mr. Brett. A hoof knife would be believable, but not a bot knife. A pulled muscle in the upper leg or shoulder area won't cause the knee to swell. A pulled muscle and a joint injury are totally different, and neither of them are going to heal in a month. Too many horse errors to list. Leave the horse stories to Dick Francis. Imogene is the most credible character in the whole story.

As always, brilliant.
I love this series!
First time listening to a Simon Brett novel, but it won't be the last-well done!
Excellent!! Mr Brett really know how the human mind works!
Thank you for giving colour to my days listening to your wonderful narration.
Thank you for a new book in the Feathering series, a great listen.
😮😮
"Crown & anchor me, ...... or let me sail away".
Marvellous story, and terrifically narrated by the author. 💐💯❤️
Joni Mitchell?
Awful impersonation of an Irish accent though 😂
Thank you for uploading these. I'm thoroughly enjoying them. ❤️
I love these books!!!😁🙌
Great story. Very enjoyable. All except the dreadful noise... oops I ment music before the end.
Great book & a lovely complete ending as usual, many thanks xxxx

That is the reason I have stopped TV watching. 😬

Great! Enjoyed this.
If Jude's hair is as crazy as described, her DNA is everywhere. 😅
58:03 Carol is going to have to rely on that son and daughter-in-law for her nursing home and care.... I don't hold out much hope for her 😕😵💫
Almost as good as Anthony Horowitz, which is a compliment.

Still a good enough ending👌.
