If I had a nickel for every time there was a cozy farming game where you have to get rid of magical thorns, I would have two nickles which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice.
I'm responding to this a month late, but I'm curious what the other game you're referring to is. Is it Grow: Song of the Evertree, perhaps? First game I thought of. If not, add a third nickel to your collection.

@@terezakostacka3572 That makes sense, though I have little interest in DDLV, so I had no idea there were magical thorns in it. I suggest looking into the game I mentioned, though. It's not exactly a farming simulator, but you take care of a diverse range of "worlds" and need to weed out the corruption and water the new growth. And it all gradually remove the thorns.
there's also a game called Grow, where you get rid of thorns xD

Gab always represents these kinds of games so well. This genre isn't really my cup of tea, but watching Gab's play style and excitement, always makes me want to watch the videos.
Speak for yourself. I personally can’t stand horror games and prefer the more laid back and simple games. It’s why that, while I still like Gab, I’m not subscribed anymore because she almost exclusively plays horror games, which in my opinion is a ridiculously overrated and overplayed genre.

I swear Gab reads my mind with playing certain games! I'm so impressed with the amount of things you can do and how you can freely roam around (I would also want to grab that shiny right away! Lol). I also love how inclusive it is by having the carpenter be a wheelchair user, and the huge amount of skin color options. It seems like a lot of love went into making it, and it looks to be worth the price. It reminds me of MySims and Polly Pocket with the visuals

There's so many little quality of life things this game has straight out the gate that I didn't even know I wanted. And the character designs remind me of MySims just with more polygons, which I love.
This game is cute!! There are so many features built in to make it easier to play (auto-switching weapons is a dream!) I hope Gab plays more or streams it at some point

I know at one point, they (Gab and Jack) had played some Minecraft together, but I don't think a lot of people weren't watching or it didn't always as they had planned...
She did try to get him into Stardew with her, but he said he didn't like how directionless it was. I don't know if he would be into other farming sims like this

Hey Gab, I also just started playing yesterday as soon as I got my package (I’m playing it on the switch)and just as a friendly tip: when you open up your little menu with the map, your quests and stuff there’s a little symbol up in the right corner where you can check your acquaintances and friendship statuses with all the azorians! As always I love watching you play these cozy farming games!

You're much like me when it comes to customizing a character in games. I look over all the funny stuff first but can't help but make my character look like myself as closely as possible in the end.
HOT TIP for anyone on their first INTRODUCTORY day! Unless someone had the same idea as me 😅. Do as much of the wedding, chopping, digging, and rocks as you can. Apparently they won't count the stamina bar against you if you run it out completely. I just kept doing everything on an empty stamina bar and I was just fine.
Unless that was just a glitch in the game 🤔. Not to mention I didn't have to worry about running the time out either! So if you wanted to clear your farm ground a bit so it'll free up your time some next official first day the introductory day is the time to do it 👍!
Thanks for this tip before I start! I have a feeling we will need loads of resources

Ahhhh! I bought this the day it came out or perhaps the next day, and I absolutely LOVE it! It's a lot like Stardew but less...demanding? Less story driven. Stardew Valley you really need to do things a certain way and at a certain time if you want the story to play out as intended. I haven't gotten far, the clock is way too fast imho, but I'm really enjoying it. The character customization including an enby option, noting preferred pronouns, and being able to choose any of the body shapes, masc or fem, regardless of your chosen gender is awesome. I wish there were a few more than four body shapes, but it works. I can't wait to beat the first mine and progress the game.

You might have a better knowledge of this than me, depending on how much of Europe you've seen, but when I see the island being called Azoria, it reminds me of The Azores. As I remember, the late great Anthony Bourdain did an episode of No Reservations at the island chain off the coast of Portugal.
Also I heard on another channel that those free patches of energy lying around usually spawn in the afternoons and evenings, so you don't have to depend as much on food to eat around those times (unless of course some foods provide a buff later).
This game is looking awesome; hopefully there will be more to come.
This game is soooo pretty! I wish they could add more dialogues but overall it's a great game
