This notion of not having a long term deal is blown way out of proportion. 99.999% of these fighters need a long term deal because they are not blessed with the “it” factor. Also having a Gervonta fight as soon as you sign to the PBC is not necessarily a good thing. He’s probably better off signing to PBC and allowing them to place him on cards to build his profile where he can build a name and fanfare independent of Gervonta Davis.
He said he'll sign if he they willing to let him fight tank next. Other than that he getting them belts. Listen to what the man said.

Agreed to an extent, but I wouldn’t put it all on Shakur. Tank’s side will have a lot to do with it. The two should be able to fight without Shakur having to sign with PBC. Other promotions allow fights to happen outside the bubble; PBC has done the same already. There’s no reason they couldn’t do it again. But they won’t. That’s where the problem will be. PBC will try to “marinate” it. I think Errol Spence choosing to fight everybody EXCEPT Crawford proves that.
