Merci pour ce partage Zalem 🙏💜😌 il is good to have your input with the variety of already existing didgeridoo lessons available online. It’s good (and rare...) too that a « famous » french didgeridoo player shares his knowledge. The x-ray shots and the didge scores are a great bonus. All the best. Namaste
Merci Olivier ! I'm happy this video "talked" to you :-)
The best "circular breathing" explainer on the web. Well done.
Thank you :-)
Wow. Thank you. Like I said on Facebook I've been learning for two years and still not grasped it. Will watch and watch and keep practicing until I get it. Thank you
I’ve very excited about the release of the tutorial.
I’m currently in India under quarantine and have made 8 Didgeridoos out of the local Agave stalks .
Thank you
All the Best
Thanks! I wish you good luck for this time under quarantine, making didgs is a great idea :-)
You inspired me to learn to play 5-6 years ago after I heard, "Take That"
I never knew anything like that could be done as I'd only learned of the didgeridoo a couple weeks prior. It's still my favourite didge solo
gracias zalem!!!!!
Thank you soooo much for your time and effort to pass on your knowledge. Greatly appreciated.
Need more videos this types of tutorial big fan zalem i learn from you watching your videos thanks alot
Hi, I'm happy it can help you, other video will come for sure ;-)
Bravo !!! Super clair, super pédagogique, merci mille fois!!
Génial! J'avais hâte de voir tes cours depuis quelques mois déjà ! Enfin ! 😀 Merci beaucoup !!
Merci my friend ! Your tutorials came in time, you are my didge Muse !
Oh my friend your words are touching!
Thank you, Zalem, for your scientific approach. I love it! Thank your for what you're doing! :)
Thanks, you are welcome
Live the x-rays. That is a huge help

Great!

عشق خدا بر تو .such a helpful tutorial
Great tutorial Zalem, absolutley love the 'Scratch Breath'..got to practice that , in fact it would be great to see and hear about that in more detail please 👍🙏❤
Thanks! Yes it's a very cool technique :-) I will make some tutorials about these beatbox sounds in my futur training videos for sure... But for now you can learn it from the beatbox tutorials as well ;-)
Salut zalem!

If you wish to learn more, I created an online "Didgeridoo school" https//www.didgexploration.com 😉
I’m just getting my first didgeridoo soon and I want to know what the best choice of length and wood to use for beginners. Thus something I can thrive with as well?
I’ve been practicing my circular breathing very intently and I’m ready for a new instrument.
Love this video, thank you..
Zalem, are you going to announce on youtube when your upcoming course is available? I am interested!! Thanks!!
Thanks :-)
Yes I will announce it for sure, you can also subscribe to my newsletter receive all the fresh news.

First time heading you talking bro I only understand one language in my life here first English language 💯🇦🇺💯💖🎵🎶🎼💟⁉️💯
Hi Zalem love these videos, what is the best way to to amplify the didgeridoo, your sound is so crisp and clean
Hi, thanks for the compliment. There are many ways to amplify a didgeridoo, but in my opinion, the most important is to be able to make accurate equalization and compression. That's what will give the sound you can hear here.
All the best
Maybe i'm wrong, but it's seems like dis didge have a large air column. Maybe around 4 cm near the mouthpieace? Nice sound.
Vraiment excellent !!
Bonjour! Question, what is your favorite mic you use and how close to the end of the didge do you place it to capture the inbreathing air sounds so clear and loud without too much effort on your part? Merci!!
I know this probably isn't the best comment section to ask this in, but it's the first one for a video that showed a visual diagram of what flexing your abs with your lungs full of air repeatedly looks like and, growing up with my dad being a scuba diver I learned my own hack... or so, I thought until I saw this dude's diagram. My question is: if I do that ab flex after taking a huge breath, am I actually compressing the air in my lungs for extra room for those little half breaths I do in-between? My dad says it works, but your profession/passion is I'd think a requirement for having impressive lung capacity as well as correct knowledge of what's good to do for or with them as well as what kinds of damage one could do to their lungs without realizing they're damaging themselves. So I figured asking here was my best shot because my dad oddly avoids explaining the details to things I'd think to be somewhat important, lol. Like I enjoy having built up an insane lung capacity as well as the ability to breathe at a certain rate to where I can control my blood pressure to a degree. I can't get it to be an exact specific over/under, but I can drop it from 120+ over 110 down to the mid 60's over the low 40's just by breathing at the proper speed, as well as handle the pressure of freediving from 6ft deep to 50ft without hardly any chest pain. I'm not sure if I just have a funky paint threshold that chooses what hurts and what don't on its own or if I've accidentally damaged my lungs (like a tear or scaring) and somehow figured out how to use that to my advantage. Hopefully @Zalem can help and if not that if anyone in the comments that speaks English or has the option to translate this to whatever language isn't English, lol, any useful knowledge on this topic would be much appreciated.
Also, idk if this is related, but it kinda feels like it is, so I'll mention it anyway. Whenever I'm smoking anything that isn't worth wasting on an exhale, I use that ab flex that this dude and myself are mentioning, and somehow, whenever I get to the point, I wanna exhale... zero smoke/vapor exits my mouth or nose.. I felt like it was related because that's partly why I asked if flexing my abs with my lungs full actually is compressing the air trapped inside. I've been testing this theory for years by challenging any of my friends that smoke weed or other variants of smokable inhalants to weigh an equal amount for the two of us, and I'd bet $$ that if we timed it and both took a full lung at the same time, held it in the same amount of time, that I'd exhale 4/5ths less than my opponent. Never lost, and I'm curious if that ab "hack" is legit or if it's just another butthole schizophrenic mind game that's been played on me for too many G**D*** years? Either way, thanks for the informational videos, and you've got yourself a Florida Man as your new fan

Bravo ! Très belle accent, j'ai le même ! 😅.
I turn into a didgerdoo at night cause of a incurable disease that slowly taking my life I can't walk or breathe on my own even use my hand to play with a basketball and also am dying help
Hi good Video👍👍Is this Didge from Bob Druett? It sounds like his Sticks
Hi, thanks. This instrument is made by a french maker named Ujazi. We developed this "line" of didgeridoo, with characteristics I like the most ( www.ujazididgeridoo.com/zs-overview )
Not surprising it sounds as a Druett :-)
Hi Zalem.I am trying to make my own didgeridoo. How do i create much backpressure and how do you make youre mouthpiece, because it looks different than other mouthpieces. Greetings Kees from the Netherlands
Hi. To create backpressure, it is especially the first third of your instrument that will be important. The more conical it is, the more backpressure your didgeridoo will have. For the mouthpiece, my mouthpieces are in wood ;-)
Where do I get the Didj stand your playing with ? Thx
Look for Djembe DJS9000 😉
Can I have one 😮
Unfortunately I couldn't understand what you are saying while the music is playing
There are subtitles...
Great player indeed, even though for the purpuse of the video you could have explained the same 3 concepts with way less "adds", which may just confuse a beginner and make what you're doing look more complex than needed. Really you got some great skills but when it comes to teaching...less is more.
You speak too much!! Go direct to the point and stop the bla bla bla wordiness!!
😄
