$25K for the average prosthetic arm is crazy, although I’d definitely go for one of these models if I ever needed an arm.

pretty amazing that no d2bw rnraw or any kind of direct interface to the nerve cells is needed to control the arms various motors

All my questions are smartphone questions. How well does it handle water and dust intrusion? Does it charge with usb type c? How long does a charge last and how long does it take to charge? Lastly, does it fast charge?

These types of input readings will be consumer accessible when smart glasses take off. It's highly likely they can just build it into a smart watch. So you can get feedback when physically interfacing with Virtual displays.

We should start mass-producing exoskeletons and later spec into the Crysis3 Armor set!

That's great tech, I just wonder what the go to market plan truly is. The reality is that there is NO way that there are over 10K people ready to buy this $20K arm. Zero chance. I think what they are doing is noble and will do a lot of good for the industry, but some of the details from the greater industry and how everything works together - insurance, the prosthetist, after sales support, etc - isn't really being addressed.

It makes sense that the nerves are still there, just disconnected, but it's still wild to think that the technology can read those signals and translate them to movement. So cool!

The proportional control isn't sync to the actual thinking of the gesture meaning when the user thinks of turning his wrist the bionic hand wrist doesnt move proportionally what actually happens when the person turns his wrist completly and only after that when he starts applying emg force then the wrist will start moving so its not sync to the actual phantom wrist so its nonsense to have the wrist and all this stuff🤦🏻‍♂️ Basic mind-controlled bionic hand based on gestures is way better and faster and simpler
