Nice content! I have idea for a possible 22 WRX content if I may suggest. As most of are 22's are getting up in milage a maintenance video of valve cleaning would be great! Chemical or walnut blasting. Maybe step by sept how to take off the manifold as the is zero videos for the VB's on this and it would be the first!. As we all know its a part of engine maintenance for direct injection. Anyway just idea. Enjoying the content.

Did you sell you 18 STI and buy a VB? If so, you definitely have to save up for an STI BBK. The car definitely feels balanced now for power, handling and stopping power. Thanks for watching and I will see you on the next one.
@@JDMRightHandDrive Yes..sold my 2018 STI Limited at 74k miles. Clutch had never been changed, next year would have needed new brakes and tires, and it was starting to burn some oil. Those by itself would have cost me a fair bit in maintenance, and the body had more dings than I was happy with that I hadn't noticed two years prior when I bought it.
The STI BBK is definitely something I want. The stock brake feel is very poor. I would have done it this year if it hadn't of been for needing to spend $9k on new HVAC unexpectedly. Adulting sucks at times LOL.
I'm trying to keep it OEM+, so 2020 STI wheels so far, that I may eventually powder coat gold. 4 pot or 6 pot STI BBK for sure. Then some handling pieces. If money allows, then full DTI trans and DCCD 'because why not'.
I think I will cave and get it tuned before I hit 10k miles on it lol.

Hey Josh, great video. Just an update on mine... I think I have the new top hats, very near the center with new pads. I started with used oem brembo pads. Re did wir hawk ceramic and they are really good now. Running HEL lines, might need another bleed to perfect .
If I was doing this again, I would use longer wheel studs vs a 20mm spacer to clear the rims.

@JDMRightHandDrive still not as good lol. The massi has insane brakes. Sti brakes are good enough. Fred Flintstone had better brakes than the stock VB habahaha
Rotors look great! They also look pretty big but turns out they're "only" 340mm?
They are not the biggest, but they do feel and look awesome compared to the tiny WRX stock brakes.
What pads would you recommend for spirited street use with the OEM brakes/rotors? I think you said the Carbotech pads were too harsh on the stock rotors.
Project MU HC+ are supposed to provide powerful stopping power, but not eat away at the rotors so quickly.
why did you need to change the tophat?
Paragon made an update to center the rotor better.
Top hats were revised since the original rotors were developed for me by Paragon to offer a VB Brembo 6 piston direct bolt up rotor. I provided new measurement so rotor can be centered in caliper for better fitment. Now product is perfect for everyone, I had fun being part and making this product go into production.

@@matthewwain9958You will need a spacer, I think 12mm if you have the stock 18”s. The OEM wheel offset is set too far inward so the spokes touch. I ended up getting a set of Rota Dragonfly’s 18x8.5 for mine and it clears, but damn did I pay a lot lol.
