Weaving is the major occupation of the people living in Kondalampatti in Salem district. Here handloom weavers and powerloom weavers are doing business in large numbers. Their condition has been very bad for the past five months. All these are wage earners who produce silk sarees. However, the weaving industry has declined during these times. The demand of the weavers of Salem Kondalampati is that the government should consider their situation and take steps to alleviate the plight of the weavers.
All these videos I post are purely entertaining & humorous, relatable and highlight the achievements and progress of budding achievers. It's easy to reject a Saree by its color and design but we never look into the efforts weavers put in to make a single Saree......so when you go to govt society please purchase what they have instead of rejecting them by commenting on design and colors
